Thank you for all your effort, wonderful encouragement, and beautiful ideas for all of us quilters. I recently had my 3rd back surgery and have been doing A LOT of binge RUclips watching and this channel has by far been my favorite! While recouping I have had plenty of time to dream of my next several dozen quilt projects and I have hand bound 13 bed size quilts! God Bless all three of you and anyone else who helps behind-the-scenes. Always in stitches, Kelly
Thank you so much for your support Kelly! We're glad to hear our RUclips channel has provided some content for you to view during your recovery. We wish you a speedy recovery and congratulations on binding those 13 quilts!
Out of ALL of your collections, Simply Delightful and Bountiful Blooms are my favorites. These 2 are my style of colors. ❤❤❤
🍀 This is my 2nd favorite collection of yours. My favorite is Desert Bloom. I hope you will bring back many of the prints and colors especially the small prints in future collections.
I love this line. You hit it out of the park with this.
You are both so sweet!! Thank you so much for your lovely compliments and for sharing my cross stitch patterns! So happy and lucky to be able to work with you!! 💗
Hi Joanita, 🤗❤️ how nice to see you. Your quilt top looks so good. Great job. I hope you find some relaxing stitchy time.
Love having the mini included jn the quilt pattern! Thank you so much for including both!
The first think I want to do is fondle the fabric. Some are still in bundles but they are all inspiring.
Thank you for the support Nancy!
So, I’m not the only person who has to admire my favorite fabric for awhile before cutting it! 😂
Admire & pet 🤣🤣
My first grandchild was just born on March 13th. I agree, I love the number 13!
Thanks! Love all your fabrics and patterns.
Thank you for the support!
Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and creativity. I love your designs and fabric. I am so excited to have just gotten a hold of some Desert Bloom. I have been afraid to try an On Point quilt and watched your video. I am going to do Desert Bloom with one of your on point patterns. Yay! Thanks for giving me the courage. I enjoy watching you all! Sherri, Chelsea and Billy you are a joy. Blessings to you!
If you have a suggestion for a first on point quilt pattern of yours, I would love that.
Thanks!
Thank you again Susan!
13 is an awesome number. My Mom's birthday was Aug 13th. Once of the houses I built had a block number of 18. When we signed for the house we found out our address would be 13 eagle Dr. They were so sorry when they told us. I said 13 was a great number.
You three do a great job with this podcast. Great recommendations
Chelsie- I also love the number 13! I was born on Friday the 13th. My dad always said just proves it’s a lucky day! Of course that was almost 60 years ago - lol - but still my l🙃favorite number 💕💕💕
That is a beautiful collection! Love the flower quilt.
Chelsi, I totally get your hesitation about mixing different low volumes in a quilt. I love they way your Mom seems to be able to pull that off with her quilts and I feel it’s got to be “the thing” to accomplish .. my usual go to is white or cream because I think it allows the pattern pieces to shine. But looking at the quilt on the wall that other voice says … Go On You Can Do It !! Actually I should just pick up that pattern and the material for that quilt, there doesn’t happen to be a quilt kit for the flower quilt already by chance? Thanks for another enjoyable RUclips
Yesterday was my friendship luncheon with ladies from Beach Cities Quilt Guild in MV, CA. You were both the topic of our conversation. We really enjoyed seeing the beautiful scrappy quilts you both shared and we especially loved your interaction with each other. God bless you both and say hi to Billy for me.
I would love to see a leaf design on your fabrics. Love, love leaves and vines. Your fabric colors are beautiful.
Thanks! It is so fun to watch the enthusiasm and creativity you have and the kind way you all three speak to each other. Great job
Thank you Mary!
Love the flower quilt and fabrics used. Thanks for sharing 👍❤️😊
Love the colors in this collection. The quilts are so beautiful!
Just bought both of these patterns!! They are gorgeous!!!
I think 13 is lucky also. I got married on Friday the 13th.
Happy Birthday Harper 🎉
Another great podcast!
I agree, Chelsi, the low volume is a gift your mom has!
@sherri you are so blessed ❤️ I love all you and Chelsi create what an awesome little family. I can’t imagine how sweet the rest of your family is. Thank you all three for sharing your thoughts time and creations with us 😊
Just loved the Pod Cast today as always thank you so much! I love this collection! I agree the colors are fabulous. The peach, pink and teal, the grays are beautiful also and the gray with the peach/pink little flowers. The teals and whites with florals, it is all so beautiful. Oh my goodness it is going to be so hard to choose which one to use or to even pick a favorite! I will have to do a quilt that uses all of them, so lovely. I usually use a stripe for the binding but maybe this time I will use a gingham on the bias! Great job girls, you have done it again. What a beautiful collection. With all the beautiful colors it can make a beautiful summer quilt and a stunning fall quilt also. Oh those Cross Stitch are so cute! I love them!
I agree! I have been very inspired by the way Sherri uses low volume… you definitely have helped me incorporate them more into my quilts!! Also love your use of pieced sashings! Can’t wait to see Chelsea’s quilts next time ❤
Love that this line is different and without a sister collection ( for now) having a fresh look to sew with and add to home decor is great!
I have to say I always love watching and listening to the interactions between the 3 of you. Billy, you do an amazing job of putting together great questions and talking points. I can’t wait for this fabric line to come out. Normally, the colors in your lines aren’t my typical color choices, but this fabric line is beautiful. I love the more saturated colors and you have done a fantastic job of combining your design aesthetic with a fresh new look with the colors. You are all amazing!!
Love the vibrant colors in this collection. Definitely want to use the maple leaf pattern for this! Great job ladies!
Love, love, love this new collection! Great job, ladies
Love this collection.
My daughter-in-law's birthday is today the 13th, and she thinks 13 is a lucky number also. My birthday is next Monday, March 27th. Happy birthday to your daughter. Can't wait to see your quilts, Chelsi.
This is the first time I've seen/listened to your podcast. The new fabrics are beautiful! The bring my daughter to mind when I see the colors. She died unexpectedly 2 years ago and loved to quilt. I think she led me to listen/watch this podcast so I can order the fabric line. Thank you!
Glad you found the podcast to bring you a warm memory of your daughter.
I do love this line💕 it’s a fresh look that I will use year round - not just fall. 5 star rating from me!
I just Love you guys soooo much. My birthday is on the 13th as well. It is my favorite number, and, I was born on a Friday. Definitely turned that into a lucky day...
I am just floored by how much I love this collection! The quilts and designs are awesome!! You two hit it out of the park with this one.
Love this collection! Wish September wasn’t so far away! Billy’s contributions to the conversation are always wonderful!
As someone who is not a fan of bright red, yellow, or orange…bountiful blooms is fantastic and definitely a favorite. Love being able to see the low volume backgrounds also compared to always having white backgrounds. When you add the next sister collection, having a lovely shade of plum would be gorgeous.
You guys hit a home run with this collection AGAIN. I want to make the flower quilt and the other one too. I can't wait to buy the fabric. Nice job girls.
You ladies should not have any kind of anxiety😵💫 about your new lines. You can't please everyone. If we like it, we like it and if we don't, then it's our loss. You are both still designing for Moda so you must be doing something right....right.?!? I have to agree with Billy Bountiful Blooms🌺 is definitely different than your past lines and I love it! I can't wait to get my hands on a fat quarter bundle.
Chelsea feel free to store any fabrics that don't fit at your house at mine! 😂
you have been SO busy! love that you update your patterns with your new fabric lines. love your upcoming lines (as well as past :). i'm all about fall, and love your colors!!! loving the tote. thanks for all you do - all three of you. cheers .
I am in love with this new collection! And now that I know there will be a sister collection, I’m buying extra and hoarding it until that one comes!!!!
I was really hoping that you would do a fall collection. 🙂 This one is just beautiful! I have always liked the traditional fall colors, but your new collection is such a refreshing change! I, too, live in the desert southwest and fall is definitely a refreshing change from the summer heat! Keep up the wonderful things you are doing.
What a great podcast. Love the fabrics and the new designs are wonderful. Can’t wait to see Chelsea’s patterns next. My birthday is on the 13th and I like that number as well. ❤❤
With regard to stitch in the ditch it isn't actually "easy" as to get it in the ditch takes skill and you work at a slower speed to try to get it perfect. Wonky seams makes it harder to get right and it can show up poor points, mismatched seam intersections so in those cases not advisable. Nowadays it is used more for definition as personally I like doing it on my own quilts as it gives a better outline to the block piecing. I am only a hobby quilter so this is my personal opinion.
I totally agree with your assessment of stitch in ditch
@@gwensmith7024 thank you. Maybe we need to refer non longarm quilters to some of Jamie Wallen's videos on the topic.
Beautiful FLOWER quilt❣ One of my favorites too. Also love the MAPLE SKY REMIX! I just found your Show recently. I really love it🥰
Thank you so much for this and all your podcasts. I have been following for a couple years but have not missed one since summer of 2022. Absolutely look forward to them all the time. By the way, my mom’s birthday is the March 13th too, 78 this year and still quilting a bunch. Thanks ladies!!
Love these podcasts! You three work so well as a team and love that you are family! Your fabrics and patterns are so bright and cheeful!
❤ the new collection. I want to see more of Chelsi’s Summer Sky 2 quilt . Thank you for your time.
Wish you’d have shown the bag up close, too far away. And, just a suggestion, when they are talking about individual patterns, to zoom in on them so we’ll know which one they are talking about. Love the videos. Thx❤️
Love the new fabric can't wait for them to be in stores. Love all your quilts.
The maple sky remix is so beautiful as is your new line! ❤❤❤❤
Love seeing Billy in person. Not just a voice.
This collection is stunning and I LOVE the quilts you made Sherri!!! Now to find the money to buy some. Great video!!
Beautiful fabrics & lovely quilts!
Love the new fabric line. Love the patterns--and the complimentary cross stitch patterns. Now, have to wait to fall to even be able to sew them. No problem, still working on Simply delightful, I think it is called.
I love the new burgundy! I just ordered a robe from Cozy as a gift for my grown daughters BD in April.
The Chelsi rice print looks like the knit stitch to me and reminds me of the Weiner Dog patterns where the dog's body is across the whole quilt with a bunch of prints for the sweater.
This is such a beautiful collection. I love this❤❤❤❤. Thank you for sharing your expertise and time. I appreciate you all ❤❤❤❤
Another great podcast/video! Your new patterns and fabric line look great too. I'm glad to see how much Billy has grown in his quilting knowledge. Thanks for the information about Greg McKeown's podcast. I listened to it right away and agree with what he says, so sad when you see parents on phones and not paying attention to the kids who grow up so fast and mirror what parents are doing! I did give up gaming on my phone for Lent as it showed me I was using 5 hours a week on it! I may just erase those games and us my time better to make more quilting projects! Thanks for sharing.
I hope you do a blue collection soon.
It's so refreshing to see your new color palette! Fabric has become so expensive that I'm limiting how much I buy so I really have to like it and I'm looking forward to this one. It gets boring to see so many designers continue to produce the same looks with every collection. Chelsi, 13 is a very important number to me too! It's funny, but most significant life events have that number in them for me. I enjoy all that you both share-keep up the great work!
13 is a great number and my favorite too! I was born on the 13th and my sports number was always 13…..many many years ago! LOL!!!
Love the new collection. I plan to use it for a fall quilt pattern that I liked a lot but have been waiting for a beautiful collection to come along. Thanks for the awesome work you both do to curate collections.
We need that quote on a t-shirt, STAT!
Thank you for this new collection. Can’t wait for it to come out as it really sings to me. I am currently starting some projects with seashore drive and absolutely love that collection as well. I previously only made quilts with 1800’s reproduction fabrics but your collections have made a convert out of me. I truly admire the ability both of you have for designing patterns for your collections. I don’t have that ability but sure do like making them. I would love to hear more details about how you come up with your pattern designs. I look forward to all of your podcasts!
I am retired so I have to watch what I spend my money on but I love this collection and will save up to get a fat quarter bundle!
Make a downloadable printable of that quote please!! I played it for my husband 😂
When Billy was speaking I noticed that there was a small Carpenter’s Star wall hanging behind him. It seems to be attached to the wall in a novel way, please can you tell me what the little oblong things are that appear to be holding the quilt so well? Love your podcast, so much inspiration!!
It a beautiful collection can’t wait to get some the colors and design are so perfect for any project and I got some plans what to make when I get them again there just beautiful
Love love love this collection! Ive reserved half yard bundle and purchased spools and flower pattern!
This is such a beautiful collection! Love it and have already placed my order. Thank you both for all your beautiful collections!!
Billy, is there a way you are away you can zoom in on some of the quilts or items which are talked about?
Chelsea my anniversary is the 13th so it my lucky number too we’ve been married 43 years this year!
This is a beautiful collection.
Also love the number 13 - my son was born on Friday, the 13th of January!
in reguard to 1/4" seam pressing...MANY years ago quilts were made to be used ALOT...and pressing the seam to the side was suppose to be a stronger seam during extreme use.
I love this fabric line and bought the Happy Spools pattern. My birthday is on the 13th so it's my lucky number.
I can't wait to get mine in September!
I enjoy so much this post cast. I would like to know how to order some low value fabric like whose ones.
Beautiful collection. Have you ever used a dark background for a quilt? I'm drawn to them sometimes.
The Art of Deliberate Imperfection by Kaushik Patowary is an interesting read on how artists in different cultures incorporate imperfection in their work. When I make an obvious mistake I rip it out, for example flying geese in a star block point the wrong way. When my points don't exactly match or are slightly cut off in the seam I move on. My life isn't perfect, and never has been, so why would I expect that from something I'm meant to enjoy.
13 is the best number 😊
Sherri - I LOVE your Flower Shoppe quilt on the wall. Did you make that with Bountiful Blooms? The fabrics didn’t look the same to me. Thank you!
Oh I am so thrilled about this collection. I’ve already preordered 1/2 yard bundle. Oh I’m going straight to your Etsy shop and purchase all the new patterns. Can’t wait to make the maple sky remix. You girls and Billy are the best. You add so much joy to my life.
Yes a mini bundle 😊
I love #13
Just bought the Maple sky and Flower shoppe pdf patterns. Wish we had the Bountiful Blooms collection in Canada.
I may have to cross stitch that quote, frame it and hang it in my craft area.
I wanted to buy the pattern with the trees and chain blocks. But I cannot find it in the store. I think it was a pattern by Chelsi.
I feel anxious about very quilt I make.
I wish you would show some closeup of the fabric as they are talking about the fabrics. I feel very disconnected without the closeups.
Wish we could see what they’re pointing to while they’re discussing them.
Sherri, do you think the Maple Sky Remix pattern would be doable for a confident beginner quilter$
Is Sherri still planning a SAL for her Happy Go Lucky quilt pattern?
What is the process for turning in new designs? I.e. how long for approval, manufacturing and then in the stores? Thx
Talking of your collections, just had a random thought - why not do a collection that has a Sherri & Chelsea favourite print or colour from each of your previous collections .......
