- In this episode, Sherri tells how she received a notification of a package that was to be delivered to her home from Moda Fabrics. However, this package was not addressed to her or Chelsi, but rather to Billy. What was in the package? The group reveals what was in the package and how it led to the topic for today's episode. First, Sherri and Chelsi quiz Billy on how well he really does "Know Quilting." Afterward, Billy quizzes Sherri and Chelsi on their knowledge of quilting history and other random quilting facts. Billy also shares the results from the podcast survey that was mentioned in the last episode.

Loved this today. My house flooded two days ago. My sewing room is untouched and I was hiding out in there as an escape. Your quiz helped me be not so sad today. Lowell Mass was my hometown the birthplace of the American Textile industry and the Industrial Revolution in our country. PS- Billy earned his shirt!!

Oh my goodness, I loved this episode!! Well, let me be honest, I love every episode. Sherri, Chelsi and Billy are tops on my list of quilting podcasts/videos. I’ve only been watching your podcast for about 3 months, and the more I watch the more I love it. You guys are so much fun, so informative, and I enjoy hearing all of your perspectives and how you interact with one another. This one was fun and educational too. I prefer the podcast on RUclips rather than a podcast platform. I feel I get more out of the podcast by seeing the quilts, other items you show, and your facial expressions and gestures. It feels more personal, like being in the room while the conversation happens.

This is so much fun! I can see that Billy was a great teacher in so many ways. I love the history of the art of quilting in the questions. Seminole Patchwork is favorite technique of early strip quilting which is beautiful in garments. Thanks for the great start to our day!

Oh what fun!! You all did great. We all learned together. Billy you know quilting and as for those history questions you should make a pdf with the answers so we can print those out. Great to go over and learn the history of Quilting. I have been quilting 3 1/2 years and I learned so much today. Thanks Lisa Alexander for the T-shirt that started it all.

Not sewing on Sunday made me laugh and reminded me when a friend of mine told me I shouldn't be mowing my lawn on Sunday, because you're not supposed to "work" on Sunday. I told her work was in the eye of the beholder. I love gardening, mowing, AND sewing - that's how I relax when I'm NOT working. Sew your heart out on Sunday Chelsi. You're never working when you're doing what you love!

I have been quilting 24 years and my husband only know that we change them out with the seasons. He called embroidery for years. So I think you all do great.
Good morning. I just love this video!! I knew some of those answers because I taught sewing/quilting. Didn't know about Thimble. Wowww. I heard about the Sunday sewing !!! My mom did not sew, because it was work for her, and Sunday was the Lords day!!

LOVED this episode!!! Quilt trivia...sew fun! Also as a Christian, I absolutely think it's "okay" to sew on Sunday! I imagine there are some Christians that hold more strict "guidelines" for what is acceptable activity on a Sunday. BUT Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest and since sewing is like therapy for me, it's all good! If I'm not spending time with my family on Sunday afternoon, I'm probably sewing! Y'all are AWESOME!!!
