Honestly, this is by far my FAVORITE podcast! I watch all of you on RUclips. Love being able to see your interactions. Thanks for all you do! Chelsi, I was with you on the no way I am going to sew! Lol I want you to know you inspired me to quilt my very first top I ever made. So many mistakes but, it deserves to be used. Sheri, you are an excellent instructor and designer and have taught me so much! Billy, you have done an amazing job with the podcast! I will never forget you getting a hole in one!
True confession! I was very disappointed when your podcast started combining with video. I loved listening to the podcast and felt torn to transfer to video so that I could see the quilts. Now I do both! It’s like getting the best of both worlds. Thank you for all you do to inspire me and others.
Memories is delightful. And as you are sharing how grateful you all are for us viewers, I'm sure I'm not alone on this observation but for me, your gratefulness and love emanates forth from your videos. I became aware of this a few years ago. That in a nutshell my biggest draw to watching. Oh yes, adding honesty and integrity. My belief is that people can 'see' the real thing from maybe what may be just 'the appearance of'. So that's my gratitude back to the three of you with the understanding family behind the scenes is also apart of the 'whole'.
I always love Billy’s input. I had to laugh about the shorts! I made so many of those in the 80’s for my son! He loved them! The Christmas episode should be released on Christmas. It’s not live and so many people are lonely.
I'll jump on the crying train with you, Chelsi!! I'm a bawl baby anyway, so really enjoyed all of your touching "gratefuls" 💗💗 You all do such a great job presenting, Billy editing, etc! Keep up the great work & yep, get cake for the 100th episode 😋😋
Sewing, I remember when my daughter had her first baby in 2000 and came to me and said "Mom the weather is getting colder and we don't have the money to buy winter clothes for Sydney. I'm taking you to the fabric store to buy material" (she didn't mean she was buying the fabric!) I bought the fabric and made Jackets, pants, and hats and a few dresses for a 5 month old baby girl. Joy of my life. About 12 outfits. I continued to sew for her through kindergarden including halloween costumes. Then came granddaughter 2, then 3.
Just my 2 cents...I don't think you should wait to release the Christmas podcast. Here's why... Those of us who are busy that day may not listen/watch on that day BUT those who are alone or lonely on the holiday might feel like they are spending a day with a friend and find comfort in the podcast or those who don't celebrate Christmas shouldn't have to wait. It's not something that is watched live anyway so I don't understand why you would delay it. Maybe there's a behind the scenes reason 🤷♀️
Watching this weeks later but want to comment on this podcast. There are so many areas of your talk that I can relate to. Especially with you Sherri. As a mother of 4, 2 girls and 2 boys, I also did garment sewing for my kids when they were young. And I did it to save money too. I also said that I didn't understand buying fabric, cutting it up and sewing it back together. I am now an advid quilter. I Love Quilting. I also love your podcast!!
We are so thankful for you guys. Billy it is so nice to see you get involved with this podcast and working so well with your sister and mom. Chel, cherish these times with your mom. And Sheri well I know you are so full of joy to spend time with your son and daughter. I love watching y’all
I am thankful for all of you and this podcast. I can’t tell you how much I look forward to watching every new episode. The family vibe is so endearing. Thank you for all you do for the quilting community. ❤
Grateful for all the videos and knowledge from you all😊 Billy does a nice job on elaborating on top of the questions asked. Beautiful quilts and looking forward to “Strawberry Lemonade” fabrics 🍋 🍓 next year!
Ding, ding, ding,….. I love the idea of making a gift bag to use in the place of a stocking. I do stocking stuffers for my adult kids, their spouses and grandkids, and now often we aren’t at our house to celebrate the holiday. Unfortunately things fall out of stockings during transport to wherever we are celebrating. I think I will make these for my family next year and I can personalize each one and use it year after year like a stocking. Great gift ideas. I am thankful for your podcast and videos, as I have learned a lot. Hope you all enjoy festivities of this Christmas Season.
absolutely love your show. Billy adds a unique touch and perspective so many times.. he "thinks" for us and asks questions that are interesting and revealing. Also love that he allows lots of discussion and keeps the show moving at a nice pace.
You have no idea how you have made such an impact on my quilting journey over the last few years. I wasn't proud of my quilting back in 2019. I had only been sewing/quilting for a few years and had zero confidence skills. I truly didn't know what I was doing but I knew that I liked the process - picking fabrics. coordinating colors, finding doable patterns, and of course having something I could curl up under when I watched RUclips videos. Then I found your channel. You are both so genuine and relatable. I enjoy every episode and learn something new from you each time. I love your organization style and your book recommendations have got me back into reaching too. And I especially love your fabric collections and patterns. WOW! Soon you will complete 100 episodes! Thank you Sherri, Chelsi, and Billy for the encouragement, inspiration and awesome podcasts.
Thank you, Billy, for helping to develop the podcast into a more seamless presentation. I am hungry to learn, but I have quit watching some online teachers because of their repeated speech patterns and filled pauses. It is difficult to coach family (and still get along) but you're doing a great job!
I want to add ...a fat quarter and a seam ripper! 😅 Chelsi your thankful list was just overflowing! You are are awesome 👍 Billy you thankfulness came with board shorts ! Hope you get a new pair for Christmas. Sheri those were fun ideas.
Another great podcast. But only one idea for a gift that I'm surprised Sherri didn't add is papers for Grandmother's Flower Garden blocks. I have a pack of 1" papers on my wish list. 😉 BTW, the best gift I can receive is to see appreciation on the face of a quilt recipient, knowing that I chose the right fabrics, colors and pattern for them.
Really enjoyed today’s podcast - 17:47 did you make me clothes? No 🤣🤣🤣and 40:26 they’re Magic, right 😍😍 after watching I ordered your “Home for the Holidays” and can’t wait to get it! Love all the quilts show. - I am a new quilter and want to make all the things lol.
I am grateful for many things and all three of you are included! You bring me joy with the pod cast and with the videos, fabric and patterns as well as the sew alongs. Thank You.
I think it would be great if you did air the podcast on Christmas Day. Not everyone has family or something to do on Christmas and that would be a great gift from you guys on Christmas morning. Everyone else can watch it later. Happy Holidays!
Love the pics of young Billy in the shorts Sherri made him. Brought back memories of when I used to make my girls boxer shorts in the 90s when they were popular. Since they wore uniforms to school, they were perfect cover ups to wear underneath.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and congratulations on your upcoming 100th episode! I always look forward to each new episode ☺️Also I must agree with Billy, best Christmas movie is National Lampoons Christmas Vacation! I watch it every year! 😆
I want to wish all of you a Happy Holiday season I love, love your podcast all of your quilts are beautiful thank you for sharing all the great quilts with us.
I’m a big fan! I’m doing Sherri’s BOM using “My Favorite Things”. I should be getting my kit in the mail today for Chelsi’s sew along. Thank you also to Billy for all that you do to support this u-tube and podcast channel. You make a great team! Take time to enjoy your family during the coming Christmas season!
I am so thankful for you Sheri and Chelsea!!! I started watching pretty much from the beginning. I have learned so much I also love your fabric !!! You two are amazing people. ❤(And Billy)
Love you! love you! love you! I am sad on the Mondays when there isn't a podcast. Would love a tutorial on the simple folded corner ruler. I can't see how it saves time. I have tried but must be doing something wrong. if you could take us from start to end and show your whole process on how it saves time.
I saw the jumbo yo-yo maker and remembered the Terry Atkinson yo-yo quilt in Better Homes and Gardens I made. I would be interested in seeing how to make pumpkins. I missed the pin cushion, but would be find red yo-yo tomatoes fun. I’ll keeps my eyes open for when you make little pumpkins. Thanks!
Great video today!! I’m thankful for you! All of you! I’m glad Billy held up the Pom Pom maker! I love all of your podcasts! I watch and rewatch!! If possible can you hold up the sampler quilt to see the last row?? Also please show the backs. I’m as interested in the backs of quilts as well as the fronts!! Just a couple of suggestions🥰 Also please release your 100th show on Christmas!! I’ll watch it Christmas night !! Plus you can always say our 100th podcast aired on Christmas Day 2023!! Happy Thanksgiving and I hope you have a blessed holiday season and I look forward to your videos all the time🦃🎄🦃
I'm sewing the binding on the quilt on your wall while watching the video. I loved making it and I used your Emma fabric. I love the dynamics of the family show and how well you all work together and support one another.
Wonderful video ❤ I love your podcast and the three of you. I'm thankful for you three for sharing your time with all of us, it's always a joy to watch. I have watched every episode and some multiple times 😊Thank you and wishing you a wonderful holiday season.
Great ideas! Thank you very much for this. I look forward to making these small projects for my quilty friends. 🥰 I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!
I love your podcast and the relationships you all have. Billy, there is a guy on the "dreading" podcast who sounds exactly like you! (My 2 favorite things - quilting and murder podcasts)
Have followed you since you began doing videos, and they are always a treat. Looking forward to #100. The three of you make it so much fun to watch. I had to order your Home for the Holidays book this morning after seeing Chelsea's sampler quilt and all the gift suggestions.
I made tons of those board type shorts… my husband in his 30’s played Comminty Volleyball in the late 80’s and he proudly wore all the colorful shorts I made him… thanks for the reminder 😅 Love hearing your family stories too! Now you 2 don’t gang up on mom lol 😂 (“me & Billy agree”)
Great video, love the quilts within this video, having a different one behind Billy is awesome. I’m going to ask Santa for a quilting theme socking for Christmas what a fantastic idea, two more things I’d like would be glue and pkg. of 3 Lindt dark chocolate 😊. Thanks for making Monday morning brighter. 👍❤️😊
I love you, podcasts! Thank you for sharing all those fun guilty gift ideas! So, my Christmas tree went up the day after Thanksgiving. However, since my husband's birthday is three days after Christmas, our tree goes down Dec. 26th without fail lol!
Y’all need to get an actual strawberry lemonade food layer cake for your 100th podcast and then maybe give away a fabric layer cake with the caveat that people leave an podcast content suggestion in the comments
The planets have truly aligned!! 100th episode, last episode of 2023, Christmas Day!!! OK Boxing Day. Sherri - making clothing is cutting up fabric and sewing the pieces back together. Why do people feel the need to say that about quilting (in a bad way). Making furniture is cutting up wood and putting it back together. Cooking is cutting up meats, vegetables etc and putting it all together.... Chelsi - I cracked up when you interjected - who would have ever thought your mom would need her English degree..... so funny.
Really FUN show 🎉 loved the Christmas sewing machine surprise🎉 if you guys are going to be together at Christmas it’d sure be fun if you guys did a live on the 26th to celebrate your 100 episode But… that might be to much😮 for you guys… Christmas does get busy… just throwing the thought out there 😅
Please don’t postpone the podcast. Some of us don’t have a lot of family near so spend a very quiet day. Or don’t celebrate so please release it on Christmas Day.
Billy, I had to laugh when you were giving your thankful speech. I lost track of how many “so, and, you know”s you said. It is very hard to speak seamlessly without those filler words.
Honestly, this is by far my FAVORITE podcast! I watch all of you on RUclips. Love being able to see your interactions. Thanks for all you do! Chelsi, I was with you on the no way I am going to sew! Doug Leko’s mini folded corner ruler is the absolute best. To not have to draw those lines is the best thing…..and the accuracy!!
True confession! I was very disappointed when your podcast started combining with video. I loved listening to the podcast and felt torn to transfer to video so that I could see the quilts. Now I do both! It’s like getting the best of both worlds. Thank you for all you do to inspire me and others.

You said that so well. It’s the genuine goodness and wholesome family love that brings me!❤
Love Billy!! He totally has his own following! I raised three sons and made their shorts and now do grandson shorts!!
Please release your 100th episode on Christmas Day as your gift to those of us who have slow, quiet Christmases.
I’d love to have the 100th episode on Christmas Day too….or maybe early on Christmas Eve!
I always love Billy’s input. I had to laugh about the shorts! I made so many of those in the 80’s for my son! He loved them! The Christmas episode should be released on Christmas. It’s not live and so many people are lonely.
The Simple Folded Corners ruler has been a game changer for me this year. It is absolutely my most favorite new tool. Great suggestion!
Thank you and enjoy the holiday season with your family and friends.
Loved this morning!!
Really look forward to your podcasts, I enjoy the group dynamic and sibling banter!
Anxious for the video on the mini folded corner ruler. YAY!!!!
You guys do such a great job, Billy is such a great asset to your team and he knew Magic pins! So cute.
The best ideas for gifts!!! Thank you so much.
Love, love, love y’all. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏👏👏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

My favorite gift was my Bernina sewing machine and I still have it. That was 20 years ago
Looking forward to the special 100th episode! Cue the airhorn sound effects!

Haha, I started my career as a technical manual writer; it was a fantastic gateway to my current career.
Thanks!
I love your podcast and the relaxed banter between you three. I’ve never used the Simple Folded Corners ruler. I need to check this out!

I bought that book just a few weeks ago and I love it. Thank you ladies you made my day ❤
I’m excited to receive the ornament patterns, should be here today. Looking forward to getting started on them.

loved the Christmas sewing machine surprise🎉
if you guys are going to be together at Christmas it’d sure be fun if you guys did a live on the 26th to celebrate your 100 episode

Chelsea ok you have read to many thrillers. ( with scissors). Lol
What fabric collection was used in the Candy Boxes quilt hanging behind Billy?
Okay, but like how about a live 100th episode watch party?
Chelsi mention her favorite pens to draw with on an episode but I can not find the information. Love to know her favorites.
Billy, I had to laugh when you were giving your thankful speech. I lost track of how many “so, and, you know”s you said. It is very hard to speak seamlessly without those filler words.
Billy when are you getting married?
