I was telling myself that this blonde looks amazing on you, Abbey! It compliments your skin so much better than the cool-toned blonde you used to get. It's perfect 👌
This is gorgeous! I always think orange when I think warm (I can't help it, haha) it's my obsession with avoiding brassy hair. I want neutral, cool, and ashey. Well, there's NO orange here (of course not), but just beautiful, buttery, warmish, pretty blonde hair!
I love these types of videos at the salon. I always find your content in general very soothing! Your hair looks awesome too. So glad you’ve found a way to have something you love that is less damaging, since I know you mentioned that was an issue for you. It also is just funny to me how everyone’s preferences differ. I never realized it, but my natural hair color is pretty much exactly what you have now. (My dad is a redhead, so that’s probably where the more strawberry blonde/warmer undertones come from.) But I personally love the lighter, icy, more cool toned blonde on myself.
This type of lifting works great on hair that is already pretty light naturally, unfortunately it doesnt lift dark previously colored hair too well, or if at all! But as a natural blonde, or someone with already lightened hair, this is def a great way to keep your hair light without actually using bleach. Like you said, it still is 40 vol so it can do some damage, but nothing like using bleach on top of bleach.. Def turned out beautiful though, esp if you enjoy a warmer blonde! (Love seeing warmer tones coming back into style! Sooo tired of coloring everyone "platinum" or "silver-ish" so thanks for showcasing the beauty of warmth in blonde hair!)
I can't believe she used copper on you, comparing to the blonde you got at the end. I found it gorgeous. I think by using this healthy technique, your hair will grow like crazy.
For the DIYers: High-lift will only lift if you haven’t dyed it before. I’ve seen many people try to use this on dyed hair and ended up with hot roots. If you have colored your hair before and don’t want to use bleach, use a color remover first. Also, do an allergy test. While high-lift does not contain bleach, it uses double the ammonia and uses a higher percentage of peroxide developer than usually used on most hair colors or bleach lighteners.
I moved away from bleach to high lift tint several years ago, and while it's somewhat gentle compared to bleach, it still upsets my waves & curls for a while. Unless I use K18 that is.
*I'M* totally obsessed with your color!! Looks absolutely gorgeous! I have my appt this weekend & will DEF be taking you along with me to the salon 🤗. Thx for sharing with us. 🥰😘
I love that you go back to MN to get your hair done. We just moved to Missouri from MN and I’m soooo tempted to drive back JUST to see my trusted stylist of 20 years. I’m super afraid to try someone new. 😬
Looks great! Interesting, never heard of hi lift tint. Curious to know if the color lasts as long. Also wondering how long the process took. I went to a hairstylist years ago who was meticulous the only problem was it took 7 hours to get my hair highlighted🤣
I bought the k18 mask in the professional version and it's exactly the same composition. The bottle is just bigger but otherwise there is no difference.
I love the multi blonde with the warmth!! It literally makes your face glow!! You look younger, and your hair actually is looking brighter than the cool toned blonde and by like 100x!! I know that if your cool toned skin and hair naturally, sometimes it might seem scary to “accept the warmth” but I truly feel that you have glowed up without needing to or trying too!! Great call on the hairstylist for suggesting hi-lift cream color (it’s a permanent hair color but you have to use 40vol with it and put it on Quick & take it off quick) following manufacturers instructions of course! But it’s the way hi-lifts are formulated and it is way better for your than bleach with type 10/20/30/40vol developer. Also, cream bleach (like the purple bottled squeeze tube by ion bleach, at Sally’s beauty is the way to go if you aren’t needing to go 8+ levels (if you’re needing a truly 8-9+ levels of lift, get a friend or a hairstylist to help you & if you can use Guy Tang’s Big 9 or 10-can’t remember-cream bleach I think it’s called, hair wizardry I think ;o) 😊) but it’s gentler on the hair and the product of cream bleach compared to powdered bleach it’s like legit the best way if one was to diy or if you’re looking for a different hairstylist…just te search the different types and always remember that if you dyed your hair 3+ years ago and you think it’s gone due to fading/time/etc no no, it’s still there, it will create an orange band where the permanent color starts, so 3+ years those roots are at least down to your shoulders so that’s probably there unless you cut your hair and the permanent hair color off -anyways sorry I’m just saying though, like I live in Texas, and I’m thinking of driving up to the place & getting your hairstylist to help me get to something that will help blend these greys that I see because just wow!!🔥🔥👏👏 (Plus I could swing by to see my son, whose about to be 19…cough sigh, OMG! 19 years have past??!!)
@@cassandrakwielford2999 Yeahh, just for some reason, I really struggle to proper get my hair in these types of caps 😁. I was trying to find a silk or satin wrap, like that hair towels you just wrap around the hair, so much easier! But I cannot find it :/
Love the video and am obsessed with the warmer, more golden toned blonde on you! Looks absolutely stunning and flatters you incredibly, bringing out brightness and shine to your undertones. Much better than ashy/ ice blonde that you used to go for. Not that my opinion matters, but you really are glowing. Love you ❤
Hi Abby, your stylist killed it. The Color complements your complexion perfectly. I know you test out so many hair products, and I was just wondering if you have ever tried “gloss me” suppose to have CBD in it. Also have you ever tried any of the “ DESIGNME” Lines? Thank you so much for all that you do, spend, and go through to bring us the best and Newest technology in products that we need or ones to avoid. I have learned so much from watching your channel. So thank you. Have a blessed rest of your week, Namaste 🙏🏼
The warm colour looks so lovely on you. What level is your natural hair 7? I'm wanting to go warmer myself too but I have a lot of red in my base I don't think a high lift would get me to blonde.
Soooo Abbey, I have a hair appt Saturday and I'm freaking out- finally some change considering I've been super blonde my whole life... ! I went through so many salons in the Detroit area and I'm just exhausted & ANXIOUS! I'm about to just cancel... but I may ask for something like this * wish me luck*** Cheers to our hair journeys!
High lift tint is worse than bleach as you need to lift with 40 volume, whereas bleach you can use 10 volume and add in olaplex to protect when lifting! X
The improvement in the condition of her hair would suggest otherwise if you look back to what her hair used to be like when bleached compared to now though wouldn't you say?
what is your natural hair color? I have dark brown hair so I am afraid blonde won't look good on me also how much would it approximately cost if I wanted exactly like your hair color?
Yay, my stylist and I tried this after being platinum blonde for years!! My roots are a little more reddish than I’d like, does anyone know of ways to combat this?
Your hair looks so much better this color. This other color looked like a grey haired older woman. This is beyond. Women need to stop doing that you have plenty of years to look “Grey” Looks so pretty.
Omggg it looked so messy 🤣 it was already in amazing shape color wise from my last session I just wanted to get in before she was on maternity leave because my roots were showing quite a bit!
any salon recommendations for the chicagoland area? i love all the products your stylist is using! i have naturally dark brown/almost blk hair.. i know coloring my hair is in the near future (have never colored my hair before)... would like to know what to ask my stylist in my initial consultation... thanks!
As a hairstylist, THANK YOU for including the formulations! It looks beautiful
Holy shit, this is YOUR color! The warmth of the hair really gives a beautiful glow to your skin. So gorgeous!!
the warm blonde looks absolutely gorgeous on you!
Thank you ❤️❤️
I was telling myself that this blonde looks amazing on you, Abbey! It compliments your skin so much better than the cool-toned blonde you used to get. It's perfect 👌
Really loving the warmness in your hair!! Such a nice refreshing look for you 😍
Thank you so much!! Don’t know if I could ever go cool toned again after this 😂
This is gorgeous! I always think orange when I think warm (I can't help it, haha) it's my obsession with avoiding brassy hair. I want neutral, cool, and ashey.

Show us a picture of your natural color for comparison. Love your color lately. Looks amazing!!!😍
I use Wella Koleston high lift hair dye at home to achieve warm blond color. It’s definitely less damaging than bleaching powder.
The design and vibe of that place looks very peaceful and calming

Yes. As a stylist I totally agree. 👍
I wish I knew what her natural base level was to determine if this would work for me. I can't work out if she is a 6 or a 7.
Would this work on auburn hair?
I love the color, so refreshing. Plus she works on you alone. My hair dresser works two as one is getting a color.
The color is amazing! Looks sooo natural, love it, great work! Great video 🤗
I can't believe she used copper on you, comparing to the blonde you got at the end. I found it gorgeous. I think by using this healthy technique, your hair will grow like crazy.
I've never even heard of a high-lift tint! You saved my hair again girl! 😆 Thank you for going through the trouble of filming this
Of course!!! Thank you for watching ❤

@@lookgorgeous4life713 Wow! good to know 🤗
How many levels of lift can a high-lift color achieve? Will it look too orange on virgin level 6 hair??
@@LogarAcc depends on how light you are trying to go but the answer for virgin level 6 hair is probably foils
I moved away from bleach to high lift tint several years ago, and while it's somewhat gentle compared to bleach, it still upsets my waves & curls for a while. Unless I use K18 that is.
Hello from Greece, your hair is wonderful and the colour looks so natural ✨️ 😍
Soo pretty!! Love this shade of blonde on you 💕
*I'M* totally obsessed with your color!! Looks absolutely gorgeous! I have my appt this weekend & will DEF be taking you along with me to the salon 🤗.
Thx for sharing with us. 🥰😘
Yay! And thank you so much! 🥰
Looks crazy natural ❤❤
The warm toned blonde Looks good on you! 💕
Thank you 😊❤
Gorgeous hair Abbey, Great video 😘!

Worth it 😂😂
Your hair looks really gorgeous! :)

Love the hair color and love this vlog!!! So fun to see!
What was the cost of this? Just curious as how it compares to Florida!
ABBEY LOVE this colour on you, I am so tempted to go warmer as well now!! as always love your content

Love this video! I actually don't think I've watched a video of you outside of your apartment, so this had me shooketh 🤣
Hahahaha 😂 thanks for watching! ❤
I bought the k18 mask in the professional version and it's exactly the same composition. The bottle is just bigger but otherwise there is no difference.
How long do you wait to wash your hair after a color? Getting mine done this coming weekend. Thanks!
Pretty blonde color
Your new color is so nice and it looks so natural ❤ just amazing
Great for Fall! 🍁
I do the same - my hair is naturally an ashy blonde, but a golden blonde looks so much better on me.
what level is your natural colour please?
What was the transition like from bleach blonde to this? Im assuming she didnt do this the first time you came to the salon post bleach.

Abbey, what do you do to protect your hair from the humidity of the shower on no-wash days?
Shower cap is a great option!

Ooh I'm super excited!!! Thank you!!

I'd be interested in seeing what you ask for in the haircut dept :) I wish my local salon used k18
How long did the whole process take? Didn’t seem too long . . .
I've never heard about high lift tint, I'm gonna look it up. You're soooo prety!
🥺 thank you so much ❤️
Really interesting to see how it's done - the results look so natural. I use L'Oreal for $9, it does the job but you get what you pay for.
What blowdryer is she using???? ❤❤

Oooo Is there a video on her channel that details the salon experience? Like tips or questions to ask when first visiting a salon?
Love hilifts! Thanks for sharing ❤️ soooo pretty!
High lift tint is worse than bleach as you need to lift with 40 volume, whereas bleach you can use 10 volume and add in olaplex to protect when lifting! X

I’m so over being bleached blonde. Not sure how to start the process tho
Excellent, EXCELLENT color service! Question is: What will you do during the 5 months Ashley is on maternity leave? 🥺 Hahaha
does she color along with previously colored tips? isnt it damaging for them?
Thank u so much for sharing this!
Of course!!
What do you ask for to get the cut you have? It looks so pretty!
Hey Abbey! Do you still recommend the Pureology Strength Cure shampoo and conditioner?
Yes 😊
The hair colour is amazing and it suits you really nice.😄 Btw new subbie here 👋
How often do you get your hair done?
You read my mind! Your hair is gorgy :)
Thank you love ❤❤
Abbeyy please do a video on dark circles I have like crazy dark circles 😑
Awesome, your hair looks beautiful.
A nice salon! The last 3 days of September!🍂🍂❤️❤️
Yay for fall 🍁🍂🍁
what is your natural hair color? I have dark brown hair so I am afraid blonde won't look good on me
also how much would it approximately cost if I wanted exactly like your hair color?
Thought you moved to Chicago? Did you move back to MN now or just travel there still to get your hair done?
I did! I’m back in MN enough to keep my stylist there 😊
I love this color. I've been hating the silvery blondes the past few years. Looked so dated.
Can you do a video about salon shampoo and conditioners? Or do you not buy into them yourself?
Yay, my stylist and I tried this after being platinum blonde for years!! My roots are a little more reddish than I’d like, does anyone know of ways to combat this?
I have never seen shampoo bowls like that. Are they comfortable?
Lov this thank you!!!💕💗💕💗
So pretty! Will you be looking for a new salon in Chicago?
perfection x
I have to try ❤
Sat through the whole video even though I have zero plans to go blonde 😛
🤣 thanks for watching ❤️
Do you still go to Minnesota for your hairstylist? Wow. She must be good. Thanks for this video!
Yes! She’s in MN ❤
Actually I think u will look good with shoulder length hair
Hey Abbey, do you end up liking the Revolution 4D Hair Oil? (Olaplex Dupe)
It’s good! Wouldn’t say it’s a dupe for olaplex tho
I had no idea you were in MN! Hello from St. Paul :)
What do you ask for when you get a haircut?
Very helpful.
LovedThis! What is The Technique called When There's Blonde On Top And Darker Shade Underneath ?

I think it might be an ombre? Not 100 sure though...
Will you be commenting on ULTA gorgeous hair event?
Is this the same way you colored your hair the time right before?
Yes minus the high lift tint!
I want to see a haircut!!!
Nice! 💜
Me, watching this as a warm-toned blonde wanting cool-toned hair 👀
Your hair looks so much better this color. This other color looked like a grey haired older woman. This is beyond. Women need to stop doing that you have plenty of years to look “Grey” Looks so pretty.
Why did you walk into the salon with your hair already looking perfect??? Lol!! I had to look twice and make sure it wasn’t an after shot lol 💜
Omggg it looked so messy 🤣 it was already in amazing shape color wise from my last session I just wanted to get in before she was on maternity leave because my roots were showing quite a bit!
how often do you get your high lift tint?
12/02 Wella Koleston doesn't exist. Was it 12/03?
Do you know how to fix a bad short haircut?
Looks good , from salon London
did you ever get a request from me?
Minnesota?went home?
If only I didn’t have grays
any salon recommendations for the chicagoland area? i love all the products your stylist is using! i have naturally dark brown/almost blk hair.. i know coloring my hair is in the near future (have never colored my hair before)... would like to know what to ask my stylist in my initial consultation... thanks!
