But the other videos I've been watching have been getting in my head a bit, with the latest and greatest tech, with all of their products being "pro" versions. I was starting to get the advertising bug in my ear that I would be better with pro versions... Which I absolutely can't afford. You have put my silly little stress to rest. I am going to do great with my current macbook and the iPad air. Thank you for this video. So much awesome information and beautifully produced
the paper like screen protector actually has a grain like texture which can have an affect on your apple pencil, where you'll be expected to change the nib because it'll be worn down due to the texture (depending on the amount of pressure that you apply ofc). also, if you don't mind the colour gradient on your ipad being toned down because of how the paper like texture will reduce the glare and all of the high contrast colors. 😊
I got my paper like screen cover 2 days ago and I would 100% recommend it. Not only only is it great to write, draw, and color with, it also stops glares because of the texture. You could always remove it if you do not like it but it truly is nice to have.
I don't use paperlike, and I need it. I enjoy taking notes on my iPad. I turn on Night Shift. That reduces the glare and makes it a much better experience.
you can find cheaper ones such as supershieldz :) it's basically the same thing and doesnt make the wearing down of the tip faster. but if u do wear down the tip, you can always buy tips for very cheap
I’m just worried about the issue with the pen. How often would one run through tips from the Apple pen if they use paperlike? I just don’t want to replace the tip.

I mean in terms of their screens, do you find the 2019 version to offer a smoother writing experience? Planning to buy a new iPad to replace my 1st Gen iPad air which is now encountering hardware issues. Planning to buy the latest version of iPad air but since I will be using the iPad primarily on writing notes, I am thinking if saving some money by getin the iPad 2019 will be a good idea. I bought an ipad air with apple pencil just so that I could "upgrade" my notetaking but I quickly found out that handwritten notes are more for people with patience and dedication. I don't even listen back to lectures, I try to type as much as I can during them so that I have to do 0 at home. I love the aesthetics of handwritten notes it just takes too much time and I'm a lazy student. So now I use my ipad for netflix instead

this might be a stupid question, but I haven't seen anything about this in any of the videos I watched: once I import for example a paper template or a pdf into goodnotes, can I delete the file out of my files on the iPad? or do I have to keep them so they won't disappear from the goodnotes app?

I never print out my notes so it that is not a concern for me. If you'd like to print it I'd encourage you to use white paper :)

Ariba 21 you can do it in the settings ! Just check the box colorful subjects
Settings --> themes --> colourful subjects
I tried everything but, traditional way works best for me. I like the feel or real paper and pen, flipping back and forth...
