"tiles" for mac is already built in, if you didn't know! drag one of your tabs into fullscreen and then drag the other onto it so that you get a split screen. you can also hover over the green fullscreen button and click tile window to ... of screen and choose the other window you want to pair it with! obviously tiles is more accessible since you can put more screens, but just to let you know that you can do this!
you unlocked age old memories with the tabby cat extension... when i was 11 years old my whole year group had an obsession with it and we would always screenshot and show off our favourite ones to each other during class mwahaha
I just want to thank you for saving my life! I´ve been struggling to do my researches because of a sight problem, I couldn't read anything, then I found about Alphatext and now I can read comfortably. Thank you so much! Congratulations for your great job! Greetings from Brazil!
Before the pandemic I've always been unorganized when it comes to studying. I study when I want or need and for however long I want or need. Usually that's ineffective and tires me out easily. I've been trying to organize myself and your videos and the apps and extensions you mention are so aesthetically pleasing! I've been using Notion for taking notes recently instead of dumping all my notes in a single color notebook and I joined a Discord server for studying that keeps me in check. I'll definitely try some of the apps and extensions you recommend here!
@@notahed8568 it's called Study Together. I think it's easier to find it on social media first, the join the discord from there. It slso has a website!
yay! just yesterday i was struggling a bit with multitasking on my mac with Word, because most of the time i keep opening other apps i need too so entering and exiting full-screen mode can be such a hassle sometimes hahah :') thank you! really appreciate these☺️💖(ngl i downloaded at least 5 of these heheh)
More of these, please!! Super helpful. Thanks, Janice!! I just started my 2-year review/studying goal for the physician licensure exam here in the Philippines. I always watch your videos for motivation and studying tips. You're such a big help
I love your channel because most of your videos are short, that's why I don't get bored. ❤ You're straight to the point when explaining and discussinh things. 👏🎉
3:16 Actually, there's an easier way to do this, and it works for both chrome and other apps. (Mac) Method 1 Just make sure the two windows are not in full screen, then hover over one of the window's full screen button (don't click it). After a few second three options will appear; tile screen to right, tile screen to left, and enter full screen. Click any of the first two options and that window will tile to left/right. Then on the other side, there will be the other window, just click on it and you'll have a divided screen. Method 2 Slide up with 3 fingers and you'll have a view of all the windows and apps active. Drag the window you want to merge to the window you want to merge it with. A plus sign will appear. Then release the first window, and you have a divided screen. Your welcome
i saw this video over a year ago but I just wanted to say that I love using itsycal, tiles for mac, and cheat sheet and its all thanks to you! thank you so much

For Macbook you can split screen by holding on the green button for like 3 sec and it ask if you want the tab on the left or right side, instead of doing that it will make it kinda put them in full screen
Argh, I wanna do this so bad but my laptop is currently not with me rn.. I guess I’ll just save this for later... Thanks for making and sharing this video! I really appreciate it ❤️
