Janice Studies I use Momentum more. It is so lovely and calm when you see the beautiful messages that motivates you more. Also I like the background images and how you can see the hour and climate❤️🍃
I love using momentum and it's my personal favourite extension. I love those motivating quotes and mantras it displays. I definitely recommend it to everyone out here.

I'm going back to college at 26, I've never once tried in school. No notes, studying, anything. Hopefully no more. Thank you so much, Janice. This is all very helpful. I had no idea where to start before watching some of your videos.
B R if you’re going back for some sort of college degree and you know you’ll be doing research projects/papers get to know your librarians! One of their primary jobs is to help you learn how to effectively locate credible information using the library’s databases but a lot of students don’t realize librarians can help
It's currently 5:55am here. And I was having breakfast and I got a notification of your video! How great it would be if I would start my day watching something productive. I love your channel so much. You're my absolute favourite. Sending lots of love and best wishes from my side. P.S: Getting my comment a heart would definitely make my day :)
I am definitely adding these! During classes I find myself forgetting to turn most of my work in and I just really need myself organised and i'm beyond thankful I came across your page!
for the second extension, you can just minimize your tabs and hold the green button on the left side to split the screen. Apple has already had it built-in for that!
@@margotlopez9964 this lol, i'm kinda confused why you'd need an extension for something very easy to do with keys. I guess if you wanna use a ratio other than 50:50
This was such a great and informational video. Your channel is literally perfection. It's aesthetically pleasing, your voice is calming, and you're a virtual student. You're the only channel that I have push notifications for because I love your content so much!
I'm so happy that this video includes "Visor" I'm dyslexic and really struggle to read certain fonts, colours, what size and this chrome extension would help me with that. It will also keep me in track on what line I am reading
Thank you so much for some of these I have ADHD and find it hard to focus when the page is cluttered on articles so these will help me sooo much! Thanks as always ❤️
This is great!! I also just learned that you can split your windows by holding the green bottom at the top of the window and dragging the window to one side! It’s a life changer
You know you make good content when you have 1,000+ likes and only 6 dislikes. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a ratio like that before. Another amazing video Janice!!
This is such a good video!💖 For users Windows: there’s the function of dualless. In a tab, press windows + left and other tab press windows + right ;) well done!
i was very into studytube a few months ago. But now i actually just follow you and other 2. But you are my favorite, cus really do usefull things and do short video. Thank u!!!
Thanks so much. With the beginning of the semester this year, I really need this as a student. Especially after all the learn and work from home needs. This video really helps. Thank you Janice.
For the 50/50 screen split, if people dont want to install the extension you can always use the Window Key+any arrow depending on direction hotkey. This works not only for chrome but all kinds of apps and laptops and pcs
thank you so much for this..i will start using visor because I have a really short focus and need to highlight text each time I read it and secondly I have sensitive eyes! ur a lifesaver!
this video is actually really helpful and is actually useful for effective work ! the ones with aes extensions are also useful sometimes ... but this actually helped me especially for the visor extension since my eyes are really sensitive to the light and it could case diseases later on

I look forward to all your videos, Janice! Studying medicine during quarantine has been challenging, but your content has helped me so much in adjusting to the current situation. I’m excited for you to try the 2020 ipad because even after the videos of tech channels, my brain still goes “but what would Janice say?”! I’m still thinking if I should switch from my current 2018 pro, and I think your experience with it will impact my decision. All the best!!
My favorite chrome extension is duplicate tab shortcut. I have to use multiple of the same chrome page for school and my job so being able to easily duplicate tabs with the press of a button has been really helpful. As for the split screen shortcut, just drag the middle of the top bar of whatever you're using to the border of your monitor and windows will auto split screen it and let you select what other program you want on the other half. You can also put it in a corner to have it take up 1/4 of the screen. And if you want to change from 50/50 just drag the border between your two programs and it'll resize both together Alternatively, you can hold alt and then press tab to switch between windows more easily and ctrl+tab to switch between chrome tabs more easily. I don't even use my mouse to access tabs/programs anymore it's so much faster to just press 2 buttons. (Add shift to the command to go left)
for the second extension (for windows users) you can just click on window key + left/right arrow key to open apps/windows to have it displayed both at the same time.
Visor and Alphatext are just the things I need! I have double vision, so reading (especially on a computer) is often very hard for me, so this would make my studies at uni a lot easier! Thank you for sharing : )
amazing video! I'll be downloading and using all of them, these are super useful and I've never heard about them elsewhere before :) (besides momentum)
Wow! These is SUPER helpfull. I bought a new laptop in december opting for a cheap one cause "i dont use them much and will spend more time in the library instead" for uni.....yeah.......yeahhh.
shubhi saxena you can actually add an extension/ add-on. There’s many “packs” but you can search them up once you add on the extension. I’m not sure what it’s called but you can search up cursor customizer
its actually also an add-on for google chrome (its called 'custom cursor' I think), but the cursor turns into a lil cat sticking its head out of the toast if you go over something clickable! :)
tip for Mac users, if you want to split the screen for any app, you can hover your mouse over the green dot in the top left corner and it'll give you screen splitting options as well.

i like how she showed extensions that would actually be useful for effective work as opposed to extensions used just for the aesthetic
강예솔 exactly I found all of these to be extremely helpful and I think I'll be downloading at least 3 of them
Isn’t that the point?
Nalynn Sansaneeyawet yes, but my point is that other study youtubers focus on aesthetic extensions rather than effective ones
