Terry Jacks and Susan Jacks... greatest Canadian music act ever. NOBODY sang with the emotion of these two. Susan has the most haunting voice in pop music.
Susan Jacks is from the west coast of Canada but she sings like she was born on the east coast, Susan you truly define music from the late sixties to the early seventies and beyond. you Anne Murray, Shania, Ginette Reno, Celine and Avril, define Canadian music, thanks for that! You are all a part of Tommy Hunter`s harem..........lol
Growing up in North Bay, I had a neighbour who used to play this over and over, it was on one of those K-Tel ablums, blockbusters or something like that. The beautiful voice of Susan Jacks !
Wow... what a gorgeous voice, just loved The Poppy Family, it was such a great time in the world back then, the late 60's early 70's. The memories and all the great music !
I I agree that she has a beautiful singing voice..I loved all her songs and grew up listening to all of them....over and over...one of my favorites was I thought of you again
" I WANT YOU TO LOVE ME " ?? Heck, Sue, I've loved you since we first jammed together in 1968 at the North Vancouver, B.C. street dance on Lonsdale Ave.!! Wine and Susan just keep getting better with age !!
She has recovered. She did a benefit concert for the Kidney Foundation last year that I attended. Was awesome, Craig McCaw and Satwant Singh from Poppy Family joined her for a couple numbers. Terry didn't
Powerful, very well written and fantastically sung ... only thing that could have taken it one notch higher would have been for the inclusion of a second set of verses.
Although written by Terry Jacks so no copyright issues the base music from this song almost a complete rip off of his single song from 1969 I'm gonna capture you. Nice that it was usable in this song by Susan.
One of the pictures is of Susan not too long before she had her kidney transplant....you can tell she doesn't look well. Boy does she look better now! Her brother Billy donated a kidney to her last year.
*Not sure if you're facetious or simply deaf...* *Karen Carpenter had a sweet, low, bedroom voice* of a mature woman... *and not a nagging screech of a rural teenager!*

Everytime I hear Susan sing I fall in love with that beautiful voice.
RIP Susan ❤️

One of my favourite songs from Susan....just love it💖
My favourite Susan Jacks hit! What a voice!!
The good old days, and the wonderful sounds of the 70's, Susan Jacks was such a great pop singer, I loved this song ... just simply beautifull !
RIP Susan

Did you know the Kitzul family?
Susan, you are so awesome, your voice and emotion are in a class of it's own. I dunno why your songs go straight to my heart but they do.
All respect to the wonderful Susan.
Wow, I haven't heard this song in a very long time, remember it well. So great to hear it again.
Susan was (and is) still gorgeous, and what a voice!
Wow... what a gorgeous voice, just loved The Poppy Family, it was such a great time in the world back then, the late 60's early 70's. The memories and all the great music !
What a gorgeous and soothing voice, Susan has. I really Love this Song
Takes me back to the 70s .. when life was less complicated and slower paced.
This is my favorite Susan Jacks song, it came from her first solo Album "I thought of You Again", should have been a number one hit !
RIP Susan.
I I agree that she has a beautiful singing voice..I loved all her songs and grew up listening to all of them....over and over...one of my favorites was I thought of you again
A beautiful woman with a beautiful voice !!

What a rare gem!
beautiful song.
Hey, I haven't heard this since my old K-tel album. Just as good as I remember.
Rip in paradise family
This girl sings like shes always had a hard love life or something like that.It would be hard to believe if she did, shes the BOMB.
Never herd this song before very nice ....
Yesssss, very nice.
Nice song!
Great tune!
absolutely love this song, it sings to me.....
A distictive Bee-Yoo-Tee-Full voice! Pierces ones soul...this one!
has the same beginning as 'For Runnin' Wild'. Love it
I love this song, she had such a beautifull voice; bad management robbed her of great success, just like Myrna Lorrie and Charity Brown.
Powerful, very well written and fantastically sung ... only thing that could have taken it one notch higher would have been for the inclusion of a second set of verses.
How ironic that her greatest work was borne out of divorce. "You Don't Know What Love Is," but then...
Cool song.
Although written by Terry Jacks so no copyright issues the base music from this song almost a complete rip off of his single song from 1969 I'm gonna capture you.
Nice that it was usable in this song by Susan.
She is awesome.
I was like 5 or 6 when this came out, one of the most sexiest voices ever still...
My husband dedicated this to me when we were dating ....we have had some ups and downs, but we are still together!
One of the pictures is of Susan not too long before she had her kidney transplant....you can tell she doesn't look well. Boy does she look better now! Her brother Billy donated a kidney to her last year.
Elizabeth Pearson ,i wish god bless her have better health now.
o my gosh. I think I wore this record out
I heard a few years back that Susan was suffering from Renal Failure. Does anybody know how she is doing today?
She's doing great. Her brother Billy gave her a kidney in 2009
She unfortunately passed away April 25th, 2022
RIP Susan💙🙏💙
omg last time i heard this song i was maybe 11 lol use ssing this with my sis
Sounds like the song Terry Jacks wrote, "I'm going to capture you"
There is a definite similarity.
This isn't Poppy Family, it's from Susan Jacks' solo album.
I loved you from afar, babe.
Mark T. ,me too.
😊
her absolutely gorgeous voice does not match her age.The voice seems two decades younger than her age.
😪😪👍😀🔥😂
I just want to go to bed with her singing
Her voice is not unlike that of Karen Carpenter.
*Not sure if you're facetious or simply deaf...*
*Karen Carpenter had a sweet, low, bedroom voice* of a mature woman... *and not a nagging screech of a rural teenager!*
What is Susan doing now? I knew her brother back in the 60's.
She unfortunately passed away April 25th 2022
RIP Susan💙🙏💙
Don't forget Myrna and Lisa !!
RIP Susan
