I absolutely love this song, Susan certainly had the voice of an angel. May she rest in peace, within the arms of angels.
She never lost the beauty that she had from the beginning. Still a beautiful and talented singer. I’m gonna miss you Susan. Rest in Glory
Why is it so important how people look?
@@royaumeuni5730 What exactly are you asking me Roy? Her beauty was inside and out.
@@PappyHolliday Can't you read a simple question?
Amigo saludos desde Venezuela yo era un niño cuando escuchaba esa musica y la sigo escuchando
Sie ist auch schon nicht mehr??😮
RIP Susan Jacks. Lost her today.
We lost Susan just like we lost the whole world.
🙏😞
:(:(:(:(
Just look into the comment section only to realize that she had since passed on. I remember this music on the radio years ago as a toddler 😊❤❤❤❤. My belated condolences to family and close relatives and associates. ❤❤
This song reminds me of the early 1970s and how much nicer and simpler life was. Like a spring day green grass and a little breeze.
ssan3257 Allways a sunny day, no fear of terrorism or school shootings etc...
Released in 1969 >>> yeah music was kind and strong ~~not hateful filth of today of that some sing if you can call it that i don't
And Viet Nam. So much for nicer times.

Except we didn’t know how good we had it at the time.
What a voice. Susan will always be in a league of her own.
I agree, I was a senior in high school it was a sad year knowing most of the people you grew up with all through school years from K-1
through 12 th you wouldn't see them again. I am 70 yrs old and I still think of all my class mates. living was so easy then. p
Yes, I never realized that either that graduation day was the last time I'd see most.
I remember meeting Susan and Terry Jacks over in Seaschelt Island. My condolences ... Thank you Shawn for the videos. Love you!
Heaven’s song has become that much better with Susan singing with the other angels, RIP, such a lovely lady.
I was involved in the audio...there was no auto tuner used. She's really that good!
Where were you involved Elizabeth?
Nice job, great mix.
Had a crush on her at 13 when this came out. This performance is superb. Love the way the backup singer smiles and does that hand thing ... very endearing. Great band. I love watching the emotion on Susan's face. So sad that she has passed. RIP angel voice.
The back up singer is actually a recording artist in her own right
Brings me back to growing up and life was just so great,no cell phones,no social media everyone just being themselves and real artist who really sang with their own voices no background sound straight acoustic, she will be remembered for her true talents, thank you Susan jacks
Wow. I am a hard rocker but I LOVED that drummer's style and touch and feel for the song. Super PRO. Great song. RIP.
The vocal blend is just incredible for a live performance.
So glad drummer Shawn uploaded this video. There’s at least one other Susan performance on this RUclips channel. It’s a way to keep ensure her legacy survives.
Sadly, Susan succumbed to kidney failure on April 25/2022. To my ears, she was one of Canada’s greatest pop music singers.
Remember when you was young and the best time of your life and fell for your love and the memory of music was so beautiful and soft to remain in your life
Thank you Susan & Co. from a fellow kidney tx recipient
One of the most beautiful voices EVER!
Singing with more feeling and emotion than ever, Susan Jacks' performance in this video is stirringly soulful.
I always remembered this song on the radio station WLS 89.0 AM in Chicago at the age of 10 years old. This song it timeless and always seems to capture the best memories of my childhood as it was always on the radio stations.
No one going to mention the other lady on bv Mary Saxton is a recording artist in her own right check out sad eyes bye her .
After 52 years that song still reflects on everyone when it first came out.
Olde but goodie, beautiful memories of younger days. 60's
Just shed some tears watching this passion filled performance & realising The Beautiful Soul Susan Jacks is no longer with us,but alive in Spirit.
😢😢😢😢😢 me encanta esa musica
R.I.P Susan Jacks - Your music was great!
I saw her (and the Poppy Family) in 1969 in Vancouver
BRINGS BACK SO MANY MEMORIES!! LOVE this song!
A reminder of when my life was more simple and care free. Thanks Susan. You still have it
RIP m y friend Susan Jacks on this date 04-26-2022
My mom used to sign this song to me when was a little boy!
Beautiful memories and a great song!
The band is VERY tight and did an excellent job backing her up. Yes, she delivered the performance, no question about that but the band is probably the tightest and best sounding band I've heard backing up these artists so "great job" to whoever they are, especially the drummer for delivering an outstanding performance. Well done.
Well said. Very professional band work.
Wow! Her voice sounds superb all these years after!

Such a beautiful song, what a wonderful voice you have Susan 💫💫💖💖
I just about wore out the 45 record of this song. But as much as I adored this song, I loved "That's Where I Went Wrong" even more. She had such a beautiful voice.
I use to sing along in my day forever. Jesus said listen and follow me and I will give you the life with me forever.
Excellent. Greatest hits of my early years... Thanks.
Rest In Peace Pretty Lady
Shawn, I can imagine what a great honor it would be for you to share the stage with Susan. You are an excellent drummer, thank you for uploading this video since I can't get a Poppy Family concert online. I hope it exists to acquire it. Greetings from Venezuela.

Gosh not changed over all those years beautiful
After more than 40 years, Susan Jacks sounds GREAT--just like she did on the record I heard in 1970!
Great voice, great music., so glad we have these videos. Terry was a great producer and Susan a very talented and wonderful singer., gives me goose bumps. There are no songs of hers that are not great., and looking like she did in 1974. Ageless.
Gracias por el disfrute de estos genios musicales.
Magic...
I feel so sad to watch this. I remember it so well. Susan is still on top of her game, and a lovely singer. But the world seems to have left-behind such beautiful heart-felt music. Is there any way back.....?
Very nice - thanks for posting. Good times, good times.
R I P thank you for the memories🎉🎉🎉❤
My older brother bought this on a single, I remember him playing it on his Alba stereo, I was so moved when I heard it I cried.
Try the billie jo spears version
@@workslob Thanks I will. I like Billie Jo Spears too! 👍
Well done.
Awesome... She can still carry a tune. Sings with passion too.
Great lineup of musicians backing her up! Vancouver's best!
If they don't play this at my funeral I'm not going to die.!

Susan Jacks your a handsome looking lady with a beautiful voice.
Thank you for the great pleasure you provided over the years with the great gift of your very special voice.
Love your songs and the feeling you can put into them.
Also love seasons in the sun.
thank you so much. It's wonderful to hear this again.
great to see this and bring back so many memories of the early 1970s!
R.I.P. Susan
It's hard to believe that her vocal isn't a track. Man. If that's her voice she has it like she did in 1970! Amazing.
¿Sera que dentro de 50 o 60 años se va a escuchar un reguetón asi como estas canciones y con sus intérpretes originales? Solo pregunto.
This song brings back memories when I was a little girl, walking to school by myself. I can still hear the women hand-washing in the back yards as a passed by. It's a beautiful song.
She sounds as good, if not better than when she first recorded this awesome song.
nice time with good memories 1973
I used to play this as I dialed my brother, Bill. We always chuckled about it. Dear Billy passed away in August 2020.
Thank you very much, John... I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your brother.
@@susanjacks5990 Thank you, Susan. It was very kind of you to respond. Bay City, Mich.

Beautiful...great to see you Susan Jacks...❤❤❤❤
One of my favorite female singer in the 70s, she was awesome.
I heard she was sick. I was only 3 when this song came out. She looks good for her age. She was married to Terry Jacks. His hit was Seasons In The Sun.
Before Stevie Nicks there was the gorgeous Susan Jacks.
The Greatest Female voice to ever come out of Canada period.
When first hearing this song back in my teens, it touched something in my soul and for reasons I ca thank young explain, I just broke down and cried. It was a feeling like God was pulling all of my anxiety and depression out of me which, I never even knew I had! It was just that kind of slow rolling reps and you just listened to it in complete transfer from being a funny happy girl to feeling a love that was deep inside me and I needed to fix the feelings it gave me of being overwhelmed by sadness. Yes, I know! It’s stupid but it’s just one of those unexplained, don’t know why, feelings. Maybe from my previous life🤷🏼♂️. Anyway it was just a part of time that never was closed in my mind I guess! Really, I’m normal, lol. I just cannot explain it better. There are a few songs from mr 60s era that shuts me down like that, and I just wish I knew why!! Another one that not so long ago hit my heart like that. Was 1000 yrs by Catie perry. Same feelings of being pulled out i into a freedom I never felt before. Well as I said, I’m not crazy and I really think it just never came out after the let down. It also I think, maybe that the age I’m turning Sunday just makes me feel final. Where are all the actual happy years I spent wth my BFFs at the lake who were part of ME, and now I like every other person my age starts to feel the feeling of ITS GONE. WHY DIDNT I KNOW IT WAS GONNA FLY BY WITH NO DO OVERS?? I’m going to try to give the rest of my life wrapped up in my feelings blanket. Love to you all. Remember to MOISTURIZE. LOL ROBIN T. SUNDAY--3/4 of my bright light will be showing me. God bless you all. And God bless America!!!!!
Anne Murray, Celine Dion
Awesome !! Even if it is in a lower key. Good to see Susan still going strong.
meaningful music. I remember when this song came out, and it played heavy rotation where I lived in the States. it's as great as it was back then. Miss Susan, you're as lovely as ever!
Sing it gorl! 😃
She sounds better now than ever! If you see this Susan, I would love to see you live, you are so amazing and your voice makes me melt. I hope you have all the love, health and happiness you desire.
