Or at least, until Shadowlands destroyed most of the entire establishes Warcraft Lore because of a crap writer with a crush on an undead banshee. God, what an atrocious expansion...

I know him best as the voice of Cross Country from the original 80s GI Joe cartoon as well as Tracks & Cosmos from the original Transformers animated series as well. My brother would know him best as the voice of Warriv from Diablo II as well as Uther the Lightbringer and Kel'thuzad from Warcraft III.

yes, I did, and his spirit is pretty much gone, yeah, but it has been absorbed into Arthas' spirit...so in a sense he still exists but cant do shit besides give Arthas his memories/powers

They changed actors back to the one they had for Warcraft III, hence why you hear the difference. I guess the old one was more iconic or they were finally able to strike a deal with him, probably both.
The Scourge is the ultimate virus, if Arthas was jully under Ner'zuls control then the Alliance and Horde would be dead by now, he spares you heaps of times, so he's no YET under his control Arthas does learn from his mistakes aswell
