Personally, I do not know which is more terrifying. The fact he was so powerful he one-shotted the elite of Azeroth, or the fact he had ALL of this planned out from the BEGINNING and damn near succeeded.

9:15-10:45 best part i think, ahhh the memories. I remember waiting for a tank and healer and hearing that part over and over i loved it lol we waited a long ass time but it was worth defeating the LK for the first time. Best raid imo
Yes it can. I'm not 85 yet, I haven't been playing as long as most and therefore am only 70, but I've seen my (very experienced) level 85 DK boyfriend go in ICC Heroic in either 10 or 25 man and still wipe so very many times. It's always fun to watch, Lich King is my favorite villain, and yet, just like Darth Vader, you can't help but feel sorry for him at the same time you're hating him for all that he's done.
I love the entire raid and zone sound track so much, going threw it trying to get mogs and invincibles reins, in 2024, brings back the nostalgia. Northrend easily had the best soundtrack ever, although war within might catch up on that, so far the just released character screen music is really good imo, so we'll see 😉
it had too many epics. that codul be aquired too easily. the music was good and most of the areas but rly most of the raid sucked. espcially ulduar with tis first levels. but icecrown was epic! but for best xpac ill say ti was burni´gn crusade.

No groups ever got past the Professor but I did Wodin's Lucky Necklace from there and got exalted with the Ashen Verdict, which aside from the ring and title being good it did get me exalted with all the Wrath factions. And despite not getting past the Professor I did have fun fighting the other bosses regardless.

My favorite part of raiding ICC was the music that accompanied the Marrowgar battle. This is my second-favorite piece of music in the entire game, right behind "Lament of the Highbourne."
Omfg, so many failed PUG raids failed at Lord Marrowgar. What part of get out of the fire and attack the spikes is so hard to understand? Like wtf people
WOTLK was simply the best while not being too casual. Though idk I kind of like BC far more because it doesn't has some of the casual elements that WOLTK introduced that were kind of doing the opposite that a MMO should like the dungeon browser making people not communicate much and focus on rushing or the dumb heirlooms making the early game and instances sometimes so easy and plain boring. WOTLK overall has a good balance though.
Wotlk felt like end game. Arthas story from Warcraft 3 was coming to an end. And going into ICC felt like a series finale. especially when you beat Lich King. the story should have ended there cause they've butchered a lot of the lore since then.
2:37 is my absolute favorite part, reminds me of the first time i fought the lich king on 25 heroic mode. If any of you know of any WOTLK legacy servers please tell me
ahhhh ICC, I remember the first time I stepped in, my buddy got me into a really good group after I dpsed the dummies in Ironforge to prove my worthiness to the raid leader...as I was walking in and saw everything going on the adds running up to the line of defensemen holding the area to tirion and the vendors, almost like nothing else mattered. pretty damn epic when the music kicked in, it was my first SERIOUS raid besides Ulduar kind of, I wonder if anyone else out there felt like I did.

God listening to the SIndragosa fight music for the first time in years brings back painful and awesome memories. I remember this fight the most because I think it was the most challenging and technically complex fight, apart from ol' Lichy himself. From a healers point of view, that is.
what i remember about sindragosa was the ventrilo calls when she was casting Blistering Cold i wasnt giving a single fuck antimagic shell BOOM 100 runic power 0 dmg bitch!! and the leader was always yelling at me run away run away and i was asking him..why dude? i dont need 2 i was one of the few dks who was taking the advandage of this ability as well i was playing the unfamous unholy pressence frost dual wield dks witch became pretty common in cataclysm :D
oh boy, i used to rail against GS on the saurfail server, complete with macros. pissed off a lot of people. but, converted a lot more to not allowing it to be the be all end all of raid comp...

It was preferable to wipe at marrowgar if I recall because you weren't locked in the raid yet.
