You know for a demon, Demise was incredibly polite. I mean he prepares a spot to fight you and patiently waits for you to prepare. He even compliments you after defeating him.
One thing I like about Demise in this cutscene is that he is genuinely intrigued to see someone like Link standing before him not only as Hylia’s chosen knight but also as someone who is willing to face off against him. I also like that he is also quite patient as he allows Link to have a few minutes to decide whether or not he wants to confront him in a sword fight. By having your villain be calm, collected and also curious yet also impressed with what the hero’s willing to do, it will make them very memorable.
I understand the reason behind why they played down Demise in this game, but you have to admit that this villain is pretty awesome. To talk about "The Goddess'" beauty and to create a unique, mysterious, and wondrous place as the final battle. Props to the guy, evil as he may be he still knows how to make a spectacle.
okay, that Demise though. The first things that come to mind are Ultron and the live action Megatron. So basically, that is one heck of an intimidating villain voice.
+Erin McCann Many thanks! I just wish there was more to do. Voicing Demise was quite a challenge, but an enjoyable challenge. Also... Not too far off the mark as to where I got my influence. I was influenced by Fred Tatasciore's work in Transformers: War for Cybertron. He did Megatron in that (Though I think they should have brought Frank back in and wrote him a bit differently, he was still very good), Ratchet, Omega Supreme and... Trypticon. THAT VOICE was nothing short of incredible, absolutely terrifying. I modeled my Demise voice after Tatasciore's Trypticon and when you hear it, you'll understand why.
Every time I see the shot of The Imprisoned consuming Zelda, I can't help but think of a black hole sucking in the light of a neighboring star. Actually, that's a pretty good analogy for the situation!
You know, for a guy called the Demon King, Demise is awfully polite. And I must say this is an excellent dub. Your rendition of Ghirahim is exactly what I think he'd be voiced as: Smarmy, arrogant, smug. Demise? Well, he sounds a bit like Darkseid from JL: War.
I always found Demise's politeness to be super intentional; unlike Ghirahim, who thinks himself above Link, Demise shows him considerable respect, partly because he's the first human he's encountered with the courage to face him, but mostly because he knows as the Goddess' chosen hero, Link has the potential to defeat him, so he sees Link as an equal to be fought honorably, not a worm to crush underfoot. Just sets the mood of the fight so perfectly!!!
Before I fought Demise, I didn't have the Hylian Shield. I needed that if I wanted to actually beat the game (I know it's not actually necessary, but come on! A Zelda game without the Hylian Shield?! Blasphemy!), so I left to go do that. Once I got it, I came back to face him. I do have one question about Demise for this situation. How long was he going to wait? I mean, was he going to wait forever to fight Link, or was he going to wait until Zelda's soul was absorbed?
+NicholasGeschke Polite, respectful, but also arrogant and intimidating. He talks down to Link as he is just a weak small human. His arrogance is what caused his demise.
@Turning to green which is why I'm semi glad it was only during cutscenes but it wasn't atrocious. Could definitely use some work. The dubs for tloz are awesome, many talented voices!
Think about this for a moment: Demise has a different appearance based on *who* is actually seeing him. Link (and by extension, the player) sees Demise as a humanoid/demonic version of Ganondorf, right? Groose is the other human that is capable of seeing Demise as well (Zelda was knocked out). I wonder what shape Demise is in when Groose was watching him. Groose called Demise "that... thing" so it means that it could be something worse than Link's.
I believe that's the most incredible voice for Demise I ever heard! I couldn't possibly imagine a voice like yours, Aussieroth! Your voice is unique in that way! Very well done, and please, keep making more fandubs, AderuMoro!
You honour me with such feedback, it means a lot and I'm glad you liked it :) I borrowed a lot from Fred Tatasciore (by borrow I mean outright stole) particularly his work as Trypticon in Transformers: War for Cybertron. Who doesn't want Aderu to do more TLOZ dubs? She's too good.
Aha, :D ! I knew it, :D ! You sounded like a character from Transformers :) ! And your voice is great in voice acting, Aussieroth7. At first, I was about to comment your voice similarity to transformers, but I was afraid that it could offend you. But I'm happy that you liked my feedback, keep going forward with your voice and also of your friend's! And thanks for your reply, very much. And I love Skyward Sword, :D !
Marcos Pinheiro At 7:24 to 7:51, your voice is very strong and intimadating as Demise supposed to be! Truly, it takes a lot of guts to face him with that unbelievable voice! :) You could try fan dubbing the evil Smaug from the Middle-earth, Aussieroth 7, and thanks again!
Aussieroth7 I believe it will, if you wish to. I tried mine on audio recordings with my cel. Both in English and Portuguese, just to hear how my voice is and for fun.
To think that demise is pretty much Ganon in all of the other Zelda games, just reincarnated That's really scary when you think about it; you're fighting an age-old demon that almost wiped out time itself each time you clash with Ganon in the Zelda games
This reminds me how much I liked Link's facial expressions in this game. AND NOW I WISH I COULD EXPERIENCE THIS IN THE FINALE OF THE GAME INSTEAD OF WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED. YOUR VOICES MADE THIS *SO EPIC!!!* Sad face. :( (Maybe when I play the game again I'll just mute it and listen to this audio instead.)
2:17-I would've expected something a bit louder and malicious or something. I always pictured Girahim with a bit of sadistic-ness. Though great job on the dub, this was cool 3:38-That'll do. 4:43-Now that's a villain with a deep voice! Nice job there!
Ok.... I will admit, this Demise voice is WAY better than what I did for my LP. I'll have to try super hard to do a much better one for my remastered LP.
Zelda Sky For some reason I feel like Link will say one of these three things: 1: "Zelda I literally save you all the time and right now I don't think I give a shit you're about to die to be honest. See you later I guess." 2: "Zelda! Hold on I'll save you!" 3: "Welp. Guess I don't have to worry about saving you anymore."
I saw most of your fan dubs and they're all great, but THIS one is just perfect! I hope you'd do a fan dub of some scenes in A Link Between Worlds or something, I really like your dubs :3
You guys are absolutely amazing. Your voices for each character are what I have imagined, especially for Ghirahim and Groose. I wish you all would do more Zelda fan dubs because I am looking forward to all your work.
Surprisingly no. But that's not only because I know good technique, my voice is naturally low range. The bass range. Now going into higher ranged voices is VERY challenging for me.
oh yeah, favourite voices were groose and demise because they seemed more suitable than the voices I'd imagined when playing the game. Ghirahim was also good but similar to how I'd imagined him.
I always imagined Demise's voice to be something like the Panther King's from _Conker's Bad Fur Day_. Deep, slow and raspy, with an intimidating growl to it :D
I know this is hella old and you probably aren't reading comments anymore, but I genuinely really enjoyed this video! Helped me remember just how incredible a Skyward Sword film could be, hope you do another one of these sometime for Twilight Princess or something!
Wobbly scaly penguin demise rises again Me: oh boy here we go again. As Demise noms Zelda's soul "Boy why don't you go over there and slice of them toes while he's doing that?"
The ancient Demon King, struck down by the first appearance of the Hero's Spirit as well know it today. A man clad in green wielding a sacred blade evicerated the purest incarnation of evil and saved both his friend, his goddess and his world. A man named Link.
jose montal exactly. Ganon is a reincarnation of Demise's hatred. He (Ganon) doesn't retain any of Demise's memories, only his hatred toward the chosen ones of Hyrule
+Jake Zolomij Something that i really liked about wind waker is that they gave to Ganondorf another hidden and personal motive to hate the hylians. He basically said: The dessert he was born was hell in the day, and at night It was cold as fuck. The only thing the wind carried was always the same, Death...Meanwhile the people of Hyrule was very happy, and the wind carried always wealth and prosperity, and he coveted that wind... so deep man T_T
I've been enjoying watching of a lot of your channel's fandubs for a while (especially your Skyward Sword dubs), and while I do really like them, I have a few points of criticism. Ghirahim's voice is good and his delivery is decent, but his direction has always bugged me at times. In other videos, he would make certain lines sound awkward by emphasizing the "wrong" word. For example, at one point in a different video, he says, "Fear my wrath if you FAIL me" rather than "Fear MY wrath if you fail me", making a better parallel to him not caring about them facing Link's wrath by his blade. And as for this video, at 2:10, I would imagine him sounding a lot more excited and "maniacal". He's clearly capable of maniacal laughter as seen a few seconds prior, so he should keep that excitement up. He's clearly lost his sanity and sense of reason at this point. His master is being revived and cares about nothing else. His animation and the music certainly reflects that description. Yet he still sounds a little too calm and composed here. Every Ghirahim moment afterwards was perfect, though. And while Fi having an English accent is an interesting and creative interpretation of the character, having a more robotic and "monotone" voice would fit her a bit more to me. She clearly specifies herself to be an artificial, seemingly emotionless being, and acts like one for the majority of the game. While the voice itself sounds similar to the original VA, her delivery here seems to emote a bit more than it should (after all, the original VA spoke in stock robotic gibberish). This applies to previous videos as well. I personally imagined a more GLaDOS-esque voice for Fi. Demise's voice has the right idea for the character. A deep, menacing voice. His introduction is certainly intimidating. I just find 10:10 a little silly. Which isn't the actor's fault; there isn't really any other way to say that line. It's just... Demise's voice rising an octave was a bit unexpected. Yelling in a voice that deep can definitely be difficult to keep consistent. Other than that, everyone else was fine. Never had any problems with Zelda, and very few with Groose.
"Master their is a 112% chance this young man will defeat you"
"Shut up Ghirahim"
Pfffftt hahaha! Perfect!
I know right?
Sol Boughton Never tell me the odds
Demi-Fiend of Time there is a 100% chance that I am telling you the odds of me ever telling you the odds.
Ghirahim: Master, the batteries on your dark wii remote are nearly depleted.
Demise: Whaaaat kinda Fuckery is dis?
You know for a demon, Demise was incredibly polite. I mean he prepares a spot to fight you and patiently waits for you to prepare. He even compliments you after defeating him.
A Worthy Fighter like way before Ganondorf.
then proceeds to curse your very existence leading to drowning the kingdom in an ocean of blood

He even made it onto the Pure Evil Wiki!
okay, that Demise though. The first things that come to mind are Ultron and the live action Megatron. So basically, that is one heck of an intimidating villain voice.

+Aussieroth7 I love that game! now that you mention it, I definitely hear the Trypticon influence
*You fight like no Autobots or Decepticons I have ever known. Though this is not the end.*
Yeah I thought of live action megatron immediately
Indeed.
Every time I see the shot of The Imprisoned consuming Zelda, I can't help but think of a black hole sucking in the light of a neighboring star.
Actually, that's a pretty good analogy for the situation!
+Dartanyan Elson Thank you!

***** *Winks with an open mouth smile and extends index fingers and thumbs*
NicholasGeschke Demise's descendent isn't nice. Ganondorf is a huge jerk!
I honestly pictured groose to sound like kronk from the emperors new groove lol
Same.
He sounds like Hercule
The voice of Demise sounded exactly how I thought it would. Great job!
Wow... that means a lot. Thank you :)
your welcome and thank you for helping make the vid.
That Demise voice though sounds complete badass though.
HeliosVenomMage64 the laugh is more creepy than the original one... that must hurt
I love this scene ten times more than without the dub. I love the way it's dubbed and the voices are like freakin' perfect!
Demise's voice is amazing!
4:55 THE GROOSE IS LOOSE SO PREPARE YOUR CABOOSE!!!!!
no! The Groose is bringing the Bruisen!
Haha! You made me laugh!
You made my day
Payton Tate lmao he sounds like hercule
I don't like anal though
*listening to Demise voice*
Bowser, what are you doing in a human form ? Go back to your game.
XD Your comment just made my day.
X'D oh god
I would say that bowser has a deeper "cooler" voice. Bowser never plays a dark lord stereotype....much. he always plays the "cool bad guy".
I was thinking more Arthas as Lich King
Demise: *"I am this game. No, seriously, **_nothing_** would've happened if not for me."*
Also, I love how Groose's voice is pretty much Hercule from DBZ.
That is exactly what I imagine his voice to be.
I see it now
U mean mr satan
Demise sounded awesome!!!
Thank you :) I had a lot of fun with him
@@Aussieroth7 honestly your talented, i love how you voice male characters. ^^
Have you all thought of doing professional voice acting? This is amazing.
Psh. Who says Zelda can't be awesome with voice acting?
CheatMasterK And now we have voice acting in BotW! And it is fantastic!
CheatMasterK Could be better tho.
@Turning to green which is why I'm semi glad it was only during cutscenes but it wasn't atrocious. Could definitely use some work. The dubs for tloz are awesome, many talented voices!

Such a splendid voice acting. Demise sounds exactly as I imagine given the grunt sounds he does. You captured his voice perfectly IMO. Fantastic job.
That means a lot to me, thank you :)

Demise has got all kinds of gains.
I approve of all the voices, especially Ghirahim. Oh how I approve of Ghirahim.
For a villain, he is pretty fabulous.
I actually liked groose's most
This is actually pretty good, most dubs are godawful, but you did a good job!
11:15 when he says this... he is referring to all the incarnations of link to soon follow!
Demise is the reason why Ganondorf exists.
And zelda.
And remember that ganondorf is the incarnation of demise
The plot twist that Ghirahim was literally just a tool in Demise's plan is dope AF
when I found out ghirahim was demises sword I was mind blown
20PINKluvr i knew it somehow he looked so similar to phai
Master Demise the batteries in your wii remote are nearly depleted
Sword: Fi (Master Sword)
Wielders: Goddess Hylia, Link
Sword: Ghirahim
Wielder: Demise the Demon King
Demise ain’t screwing around. We wants his sword
To think that demise is pretty much Ganon in all of the other Zelda games, just reincarnated

Ok.... I will admit, this Demise voice is WAY better than what I did for my LP. I'll have to try super hard to do a much better one for my remastered LP.
Demise has a "fabulous" and "flamboyant" sword! How awesome, lol. xD I love the voice actors.
demise: *brags for 10 minutes about how good he is and how he cant die
also demise: *LITERALLY DIES*
*every villain ever*
That's really close to what I thought they'd sound like! Dude, I give you a 9/10! Great job, man!
Ah, that excellent voice actor again! He's amazing!
Which voice actor do you mean? Personally I think the whole lot were incredible :)
Aussieroth7 All of them are awesome, but just... the one who does me, he's VERY talented, like the rest of them!
Ahhh, Phil. Yeah he should be the official voice of Link. Especially Skyward Sword Link.
Link You are an impostor!
***** Ah! I am not! Come here and say that to my face, tough guy!
((LOL))
*screams in pain while my soul is being taking* >•< eehh AHHHHHHHHHH AAHHHHHHH
ZELDA oh crap uhhh hold on let me get my sword
Zelda Sky For some reason I feel like Link will say one of these three things:
1: "Zelda I literally save you all the time and right now I don't think I give a shit you're about to die to be honest. See you later I guess."
2: "Zelda! Hold on I'll save you!"
3: "Welp. Guess I don't have to worry about saving you anymore."
Annoying Screaming! more like ear exploder!
That was a bit too thirsty!..Good Thing Ganondorf didn’t remember that.
Zelda Sky your grace Hylia we are at your service your grace
Jumped on this like a fat kid on cake when I saw this uploaded.
Nice work.
I absolutely love Demise's voice. Very very good job!
The final fight that began it all…And I figured out that 73700 years have passed since this moment, by the time of the main story of BotW.
Demise's voice fits perfectly on him !!!
I saw most of your fan dubs and they're all great, but THIS one is just perfect! I hope you'd do a fan dub of some scenes in A Link Between Worlds or something, I really like your dubs :3
Everyone in this dub sounds soo flipping awesome!!! ❤️
You guys are absolutely amazing. Your voices for each character are what I have imagined, especially for Ghirahim and Groose. I wish you all would do more Zelda fan dubs because I am looking forward to all your work.
You make a scary Demise and I only found this last night.
Holy shiz that was amazing! All the voices were exactly how I imagined them you guys all did a great job!
That demise impression must have killed his throat
Surprisingly no. But that's not only because I know good technique, my voice is naturally low range. The bass range. Now going into higher ranged voices is VERY challenging for me.
This was incredible! Fantastic job on the voices. They were all perfect! =)
This is an incredible dub, well done
I love every character in this game and this dub was so much better than I expected and you just made the characters come to life holy fuck thankyou
oh yeah, favourite voices were groose and demise because they seemed more suitable than the voices I'd imagined when playing the game. Ghirahim was also good but similar to how I'd imagined him.
Ghirahim sounds even better!!! This is awesome!! Unfortunately i haven't played this game in months and im still on the lanayru mine 😭😭😂😂👌👌👌
Thanks, I do still read comments, hahaha. I have done a few for Twilight Princess on my channel too.
Some swords... just want to watch the world burn.
Yes, I do love this impression of Ghirahim as a crazed joker-type character ! x)
Nice voice work. I could imagine then all sounding like this.
Well done. I like how it sounds realistic and not monotone reading straight from the screen.
Even though he was the villain he was very nice to link like are you sure you wanna fight me ur a mortal I have fought Demons
and this is an absolutely superb dub :D
Good dub! The mixing/sfx were fabulous. Really enjoyed it!
In fact, there are actually THREE incarnations of demise, Bellum, ganon, and ganondorf.
“... The Triforce is strong with this one.”
Thus, Ganondorf was born lol
I'm glad I was.
Wobbly scaly penguin demise rises again
Me: oh boy here we go again.
As Demise noms Zelda's soul
"Boy why don't you go over there and slice of them toes while he's doing that?"
Zelda: Exists
Demise: Nomnom
Best videos ever I watch these everyday the voice acting... PERFECT! grooses voice is how I expected it to be
This is amazing work!! Excellent job AderuMoro and friends!
Demise: If you truly desire to raise your blade against the world I would build, come for me.
Link: Uh....Phrasing?
Worth the wait indeed Aderu! Like everything you do, incredibly well done and epic! hope we get to collaborate again Resident-Evil-Style someday! ;)
7:25 Best pre-fight dialogue ever
Goose's voice sounds like Franky from One Piece English dubs. AWESOME
Wild that the person who voiced Demise in this fandub now voices Lucks in the animated web-series Meta Runner by GLITCH Productions
Demise sounds like a Reaper. I love it.
I saw this on my subscriber uploads list and clicked on it right away xD
King Piccolo "Hold the dragon balls! Did someone say Demon King?"
11:28 he is referring to ganon in case you didn't know.
Not just Ganon/Ganondorf, actually, but every Zelda villain: Vati, Veran, Onox, Majora, Zant, Bellum, Malladus, Yuga, and, of course, Ganon/Ganondorf.
omg groose sounds like franky LIFE IS COMPLETE
These dubs. They're magnificent.
2:18, WHAT IS THIS, KINGDOM HEARTS?! XD
Still, PHENOMENAL voice acting as usual from you all. :D
my man Groose has the best voice here, you can’t deny
Awesome dub. Demon king's voice is perfect

This is amazing, I just finished watching Chuggaaconroy's play through of this game and suddenly I come across this
If ganondorf is demise reincarnated does that mean ganondorf has demise's memories?
That... is a really good question :|
Not really, for example: thats like you and me trying to remember the memories of our own ancestors. we cant.
jose montal exactly. Ganon is a reincarnation of Demise's hatred. He (Ganon) doesn't retain any of Demise's memories, only his hatred toward the chosen ones of Hyrule

so deep man T_T
jose montal I know man. It really makes you feel bad for the fact that the master sword got shoved into his skull
Dayuuumm, i Loved the ending. The groose voice was good too.
I love Link’s reaction at 9:50; it’s like he’s saying, “Bring it on, bitch.” 😆
Geez Zelda sure has one huge soul!
THIS IS SO GOOD
*Thumbs up* This is incredible, well done.

It sounds amazing with the headphones... because I always wear my headphones .w.
This fandub is really awesome. Nice job 👌
Groose reminds me of Mr.Satan from DBZ. Anyone elses get that feeling?
cowchow65 me too
Demise voice is so goooooooooooooood
Many thanks. :)
This is spot on and badass!
Beautiful as always guys! wonderful job!!
Aussieroth, that was incredible...
I have no qualms and no remorse. This is amazing
