Off Road Overland Ghost Town Saloon Tour Across Nevada in Jeep Wranglers WAYALIFE WHISKEY WANDERLUST

- Of the over 70 million acres of land that make up the State of Nevada, almost 50 million of it is all public land. That’s almost 70% of the entire state! Out here, ghost towns literally outnumber populated ones and more than a few of them still have at least one business still in operation - a saloon! A few years back and at the suggestion of our good friend Jim (owner of Dynatrac), Cindy and I decided to start doing runs out here, ones that took us from ghost town to ghost town, all on dirt or at least, as much as possible anyway and with the specific purpose of imbibing in these watering holes of old. We call them, WHISKEY WANDERLUSTS and in this video, you’ll get to see highlights from one of the very first ones we did and on a 4th of July weekend. We hope you enjoy seeing all the fun we had with our friends and celebrating our freedoms!
For those of you who are interested, we started this WHISKEY WANDERLUST at the Mizpah Hotel in the town of Tonopah. From there, we headed up to the Miner's Saloon in Manhattan, worked our way over to Dirty Dick's in Belmont and then crossed over the Toquima Range and ended our day at the Jumping Jack Motel in Carvers. The following day, we continued our overland journey to the north, up the Big Smokey Valley and then made our first stop at the Lucky Spur Saloon in Kingston. After climbing up and over the Toiyabe Range, we made our next stop at the International Hotel and Saloon in Austin and then worked our way west, along the Pony Express and Central Overland Trail and to reach our final destination at the Middlegate Saloon.

Eddie, so basically you went from bar to bar drinking and telling story’s...that’s my kind of off-roading trip. 👍
LOL - yeah, that was pretty much the gist of it :)
@@wayalife bar hopping and rolling around in the dirt sounds great
you all probably dont give a damn but does anyone know a way to log back into an instagram account?
I somehow forgot the login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
@Trace Darren instablaster =)
@Zane King I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im trying it out atm.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I wish history lessons in school would have been so entertaining while also informative. Great video. Truly appreciate the history of these old places. Thanks.
LOL Glad you enjoyed it!
Anyone else feel like a stalker by checking the page EVERYDAY (sometimes twice a day LOL)?!?! Total noob that just bought a Gladiator and depend on this channel. BTW, just bought a ton of EVO stuff thanks to you guys.
LOL - so glad you enjoy our channel :)
It’s a good day when wayalife does a new video.
So glad to hear it :)
The long beautiful scenery reminded me so much of the hours I spent in the back seat of our 4x4 short wheel base chevy van camping and exploring old history and trails as a young child. Thank you for the flash backs, this helped me remember it wasn't all boring and hot, there were tons of amazing parts too. Amazing days.
Awesome! Glad we could take you back.
Looks like ya'll been going thru some old footage. I'm just glad to see something normal now and days. Although I've been building up the Jeep with the kids. It's always a pleasure to catch a new release from Eddie & Cindy. God bless! 😁👍🇺🇸 OlllllllO
Yeah, with all that's been going on, we thought it might be nice to show what normal life is supposed to look like. So glad you enjoy our videos.
Awesome... Pulling from the Archives... Nice seeing Ruby Cat again! 👍
Yeah, we did this run a couple of years back and never did anything with it being that the JL had just come out and it pretty much dominated our time. Seemed like the right time to make a video of it now especially being that the 4th is coming.
Traveling the High Desert with You and Cindy, with Your Knowledge of the History would be such a Treat... And if that doesn’t happen... Your Video’s are the next best thing! 👍😃
These videos are so fun to watch and so well produced. I feel like I need a road trip from NY to Nevada ASAP! Thank you, Cindy and Eddie.
Thank you. We really are happy to hear you say as much.
Didn't really have a bucket list before this video, but now I have a whole trip on it.
Awesome!
The views are amazing ....love hearing about all the history. I always look forward to your videos it is a great dose of positivity , especially these days ..thank you
Glad you enjoyed it :)
I love this kind of videos. Interesting because we can know amazing histories of USA and fun. Thanks Cindy and Eddie for sharing.
So happy we can share some of what we've got out here with people like you :)
Today I used your idea from your video and built a garage overhead pulley system for my JL hardtop it’s great I can still park my Jeep in garage under it Thanks Eddie
Awesome! Glad we were able to help out :)
20:58 Dude's got a million dollar office window view.
This is better than anything any network could ever produce. Props.
Great video per usual and that Ford truck is fd!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it and yes, that truck wasn’t feelin it

Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks Eddie and Cindy! What a fun video to watch! Really looked like a blast! Those Bloody Mary's looked delicious too!!! Lol
Glad you enjoyed the video :)
It's cool that Rubicat is on the North East now, otherwise odds are I would've never had the opportunity to meet her. Always see her everytime I go to Rausch Creek in PA...and now she's up 4 sale again. Hope she finds a good home. She's always been my favorite rig from of the Wayalife fleet...past and present. Always had that, "whatever big bro Moby can do I can do better" swagger!
Glad you got a chance to meet Rubicat :)
There we go back to reality. It's nice to see a few of the Wayalife crew and a few new faces. What a refreshing surprise. Fun Stuff ...
Awesome! So glad you enjoyed it :)
Looks like it was a fantastic trip. Thanks so much for supporting all those hard working folks. I am sure they were happy to see the crowd.

This is a real fun idea, We have lots of ghost towns and similar history in Utah. I will have to put together a ghost town tour with our group. The gun fight scenes were intense lol

Nice to the video Robbie said you were looking at my dozer yellow JKU when Moby was leaving the shop. Still wish I could of done the trip back to NY from NV, perhaps next year I’ll drive out.
Now that’s a fun trip. Hilarious that all you have to do is give everyone a squirt gun and no matter what age they are they turn back into being a kid! AWESOME....

Better than a booze cruise!
That's what I'm talking about :)
How do I apply for the short list? FYI I don’t have Nitto tires does that ban me?
