    Thanks you so much for showing how to disarm the car! I am new to the hobby with a hypergo H16BM and I had no idea how to proceed to dismount the parts on my first meticulously maintenance. I already ordered some 50w 750 cts shock oil from team losi and the combo traxxas for differentials. Thanks for the tips on the parts like spur gear and diffs. In case I need to replace them I will go with the exact same stock parts. Again thanks for the info and I’m subscribed now :D

    nice video of the tear down! the hyper go is my first RC, and I love it! I had for couple of months now, and no issues so far. Everything runs smoothly. But I also don't abuse it, and use it mainly in the park and on the streets. I'm considering upgrading the transmitter to the Dumborc x6fg with gyro. Do you know if that would improve the handling of the car? and is it worth it? thanks

    • @hofsplace
      @hofsplace  Месяц назад

      Just stick with the standard transmitter. if it breaks, buy this one: ruclips.net/video/q3pb1qFnL4I/видео.html

    Nice Vid. But not everything is correct. The metall diffs in the vid at about 4min are not from mjx, as you see on the round drive axle. The mjx axles are hexagonal.
    The stock gears are die cast zinc alloy. Which is cheap to produce, but it is very soft. Ok for 2s. For 3s not durable enough.
    There are Y parts - (powder metall) and G parts (milled steel) also availble original from mjx on ali. If you run on 3s its the better choice. The little more way is not makeing a big Difference.
    Weak point also are the screws in the diff case. They can break and the diff opens.
    The stock axles can break on the cvd pin.
    The chassis are durable. I only break one rear tower on my 14210.
    What is not goid, that the car has no slipper clutch, so much force goes through rhe drivetrain at on speed landings.
    I git 4 mjx. Good cars, but not perfect. Have problems like every other car, if you drive them a lot.
    Greetings from Germany 👍

      I think i Drove about 100 lipo Packs in the 4 MJX together.
      All in all i Like them a Lot, cause AS you say. The Quality is good For the price.
      And you can Put them in a Backpack and Take them with you.
      I think i Make a Review vid some day.

    nice tear down, how we come al ong way from the Older styles, I see no slipper clutch, why the drastic torque wheelies on demand.

    If you can answer me I would appreciate it:
    -Throughout the life of these cars it is natural that lubrication is necessary..
    From what I can understand, you can only access the parts that may need lubrication by demonstrating, right?
    Dismantling, for someone who doesn't have experience, can be ehh... a great adventure with a lot of things that can go wrong, especially when it comes to putting it back together.
    How often should lubrication be carried out?
    Should a special lubricant be used or should ordinary grease be enough?
    Thank you!

      Hi, maintenance extens the lifetime. Sand and water are your main problems.
      When disassembling your car, lay everything in order how you removed it and make lots of photo's when doing. I think i made a video where I disassembled this car, not sure, surf my channel please

    Hi, could you please tell me, if there are better quality bearings for the MJX? And if so, where can i find them.
    Thanks in advance for your help

    • @hofsplace
      @hofsplace  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, take some measurements of them and search for rubber sealed bearings. Don't buy the cheapest ones, by them from known brands, Tamiya, Traxxas, HPI etc.

    How to upgrade the lights in this car?

    • @hofsplace
      @hofsplace  7 месяцев назад

      It's a fixed bar, so upgrading isn't ideal. Just add an extra on the roof for example
