First Time Modeling a Rose in Blender

Modeling a rose from memory. Looking back I see a lot of mistakes that could have been avoided had I looked at an actual rose, but I'm still pleased with what I was able to get from memory. Still, I know there's always room for improvement.

Well I really enjoyed that. For my first ever job as a modeller I was tasked with creating a rose. I did a terrible job of it with the senior modellers standing round watching me! If only I had your video available back then!! Really enjoyable.

the way you modeled one is the same as how you would with clay or frosting. so if a person has made frosting flowers or clay flowers, its fairly easy to recreate one in 3d

This was my first time ever trying to make a rose so I don't know if I can give a proper tutorial. My best advice is to get familiar with the basic tools in blender and the more you use them the easier it will be to apply them to your workflow.
