I am not sure how many business owners would sit and discuss interesting stuff for almost 5 hours. If I had a hat, it would be off! Thanks so much to all.
First it takes the right personality, right interviewer that does more listening than talking and someone who absolutely really loves the work they do. It's not all about the dumb call outs, grudge racing with it's social media influence and over dramatization
I always buy BTR because they are the best. However, after watching this, I'll buy because they are the best and because I know I'll be supporting these great guys. What a pair of upstanding gentlemen.

This is a great deep dive into his facility, processes for product development, and much more. Brian was in the Navy, and a lot of his thought processes came from his experience gained there. I watch every video and interview I can find of him. Cool how he and Rick founded Trickflow, now owned by Summit, and have become one of the leaders in the performance industry. Thanks for this!
This is amazing. The knowledge and passion for this from you all is insane. Not only that but hearing we’re going to see BTR ls3 heads, sc rotors, and a block. Even head to toe BTR crate. Thank you for doing this and sharing.
I sincerely hope that those that listen to and/or watch this episode come to understand just how legendary these two are and how much they’ve done for the performance and racing communities.
What have they done? Anybody with half a brain doesn't run BTR anything. Brian doesn't understand the first step in grinding a cam correctly listen to David vizard he's an actual legend
@@Jan-b2nwhat does fast mean? Many BTR combos are making 6/7/800whp naturally aspirated, and more in forced induction setups. That’s pretty darn fast for any car on the street. That’s the market they cater to, and that’s what they make parts for.
Listen to this the whole way back from Virginia to South Carolina. I learned so fucking much Jesus Christ. I have to go back rewatch and take notes just to make sure I got everything.
Brian and Rick, Thanks for taking the time to share the history and stories with your knowledge. This really got the wheels turning for ideas on my next engine, and look forward to the new products coming out.
I've been making more forced induction power with less intake duration than competitors for a few years now. They overlook the exhaust. BTR is my kind of group of people. Loyalty and honesty are top priority for me as well. Thanks guys.
You guys pulled off a great one!!!! Never thought I would see ya'll sittin down like this!!!! Loved it ...great ...great stuff!!! It's good to see guys that actually know facts !!! Thanks!!!
One of the best podcast episodes i’ve listened to all year. The amount of technical knowledge and life knowledge between these two guys is amazing. It was a good mix of big picture ideas with some tech mixed in. I’m sold on BTR.
Whoever filmed the shop tour needs to rethink their career path. Brian literally points at the equipment and machinery he is showing and the camera stays on his face. If its not obvious, call it constructive criticism.
Seems like he was trying to show off how shit together they are but the camera guy had never seen this much million dollar machinery and seems to be star struck.like a deer in the headlights.
Go hard just keeps getting better and better amazing pod cast with some legends best pod cast channel by far. As well as Justin white the goat there damn these guys are so smart and knowledgeable and has done a great job on where there at now
This is a living legends episode ! Thank you, I have parts from both guys, trick flow cam for my up coming twin turbo LQ4, and Brian Tooley parts in the motor also, and my ZL1/1LE will get a Brain Tooley cam.
This is the best podcast I’ve seen probably ever j love how these guys sat and talked for so long giving so much knowledge wish we can have more like this
Installed a BTR cam last year after watching Brian on a RUclips video and seeing how intelligent he is and after this video and driving the absolute piss outta my hemi I feel 10,000 times stronger that dude is a fucking mechanical genius
Great info! Justin the reason I went with the 221/24x! Listened to the podcast he did a year ago! 1 pass so far this year temps went from 140 to 129.s by end of pass only heat exchanger and cwa50
I love this episode. Well I love pretty much all of y’all episodes but this one is my favorite so far. Definitely could have been a two or three part video lol. Nonetheless extremely eye-opening and informative.
A couple of pioneers in the industry. Without them where would we be? Coming from a guy who street raced fox’s for years and now LS swapping squarebodies.
The timing an engine wants is mainly dependent on chamber design. Look at a Gen V chamber and tell me what you see different than a LS3 chamber. Keep this in mind, the "faster" the chamber the less timing the engine wants. The "slower" the chamber the more timing the engine wants and the more dull to change. This is why we "soften" the chamber in a series power adder combination.
I have a TSP Bald eagle cam (227/234 .600 111LSA) in my 2006 RWD Silverado SS. It's noticeably cammed swapped but not crazy choppy, great power and street manners. I know it's bigger than the cams y'all mentioned but it's not crazy like the 238/242 cams people think they need in a street truck.
