I am not sure how many business owners would sit and discuss interesting stuff for almost 5 hours. If I had a hat, it would be off! Thanks so much to all.
Learning has occurred. It’s hard getting this type of information available to people, let alone at our finger tips. Thank you for sharing a priceless interview.
This is a great deep dive into his facility, processes for product development, and much more. Brian was in the Navy, and a lot of his thought processes came from his experience gained there. I watch every video and interview I can find of him. Cool how he and Rick founded Trickflow, now owned by Summit, and have become one of the leaders in the performance industry. Thanks for this!
This is amazing. The knowledge and passion for this from you all is insane. Not only that but hearing we’re going to see BTR ls3 heads, sc rotors, and a block. Even head to toe BTR crate. Thank you for doing this and sharing.
I've been making more forced induction power with less intake duration than competitors for a few years now. They overlook the exhaust. BTR is my kind of group of people. Loyalty and honesty are top priority for me as well. Thanks guys.
Listen to this the whole way back from Virginia to South Carolina. I learned so fucking much Jesus Christ. I have to go back rewatch and take notes just to make sure I got everything.
Installed a BTR cam last year after watching Brian on a RUclips video and seeing how intelligent he is and after this video and driving the absolute piss outta my hemi I feel 10,000 times stronger that dude is a fucking mechanical genius
Brian and Rick, Thanks for taking the time to share the history and stories with your knowledge. This really got the wheels turning for ideas on my next engine, and look forward to the new products coming out.
You guys pulled off a great one!!!! Never thought I would see ya'll sittin down like this!!!! Loved it ...great ...great stuff!!! It's good to see guys that actually know facts !!! Thanks!!!
I sincerely hope that those that listen to and/or watch this episode come to understand just how legendary these two are and how much they’ve done for the performance and racing communities.
One of the best podcast episodes i’ve listened to all year. The amount of technical knowledge and life knowledge between these two guys is amazing. It was a good mix of big picture ideas with some tech mixed in. I’m sold on BTR.
This is the best podcast I’ve seen probably ever j love how these guys sat and talked for so long giving so much knowledge wish we can have more like this
This is a living legends episode ! Thank you, I have parts from both guys, trick flow cam for my up coming twin turbo LQ4, and Brian Tooley parts in the motor also, and my ZL1/1LE will get a Brain Tooley cam.
Go hard just keeps getting better and better amazing pod cast with some legends best pod cast channel by far. As well as Justin white the goat there damn these guys are so smart and knowledgeable and has done a great job on where there at now
A couple of pioneers in the industry. Without them where would we be? Coming from a guy who street raced fox’s for years and now LS swapping squarebodies.
Whoever filmed the shop tour needs to rethink their career path. Brian literally points at the equipment and machinery he is showing and the camera stays on his face. If its not obvious, call it constructive criticism.
Great info! Justin the reason I went with the 221/24x! Listened to the podcast he did a year ago! 1 pass so far this year temps went from 140 to 129.s by end of pass only heat exchanger and cwa50
I love this episode. Well I love pretty much all of y’all episodes but this one is my favorite so far. Definitely could have been a two or three part video lol. Nonetheless extremely eye-opening and informative.
The timing an engine wants is mainly dependent on chamber design. Look at a Gen V chamber and tell me what you see different than a LS3 chamber. Keep this in mind, the "faster" the chamber the less timing the engine wants. The "slower" the chamber the more timing the engine wants and the more dull to change. This is why we "soften" the chamber in a series power adder combination.
A couple of pioneers in the industry. Without them where would we be? Coming from a guy who street raced fox’s for years and now LS swapping squarebodies.
I’m js there’s a reason why most of the fast people out there use BTR and almost of the guys that will spec out a cam for you will tell you to go to BTR
I have a TSP Bald eagle cam (227/234 .600 111LSA) in my 2006 RWD Silverado SS. It's noticeably cammed swapped but not crazy choppy, great power and street manners. I know it's bigger than the cams y'all mentioned but it's not crazy like the 238/242 cams people think they need in a street truck.
So I have a question. I’m going to get a 6th gen Camaro zl1 come summer I like the chop, but listening to you it’s not going to be “faster” what would you suggest for that situation?

Justin was in his element. Super comfortable with great chemistry with Brian. Good shit fellas.
Yes he was!
Simply why I've always loved brian tooleys brand cause he takes pride in what he does and is a humble man

Ohhhhh we are watching Noel. Watched the whole thing. Soooo much knowledge!
This was a banger podcast haha i could listen to another 5 hours
These two men just basically gave away five hours of expertise for free. Much respect
Really insightful interview ….
I learned a lot.
Thank you all. 👍
Crazy to hear them mention Geoff skinner. He tuned my c6 and always seemed super knowledgeable.
huge amount of knowledge here
Brain and his crew are literal GOATs. Geniuses over there. Another good one would be Kurt Urban from Scoggin Dickey.
Man I would love to get Kurt on. He’s been an idol since before I even knew what Ls was
so much information !!! awesome podcast

We need more of these 2
Harold Brookshire General Kinetics/ Ultradyne was the man. Bullet has his grinds.
This was an excellent video. Rather see ones like this than influencers talk about their lives.
Let Brian and Rick talk, you can brag about yourself later. I love Brian’s interviews.
The non stop interruption as they were about to say something just got more and more annoying as the show went on.
Whoever filmed the shop tour needs to rethink their career path. Brian literally points at the equipment and machinery he is showing and the camera stays on his face. If its not obvious, call it constructive criticism.
Definitely needed to hear the Titanium vs. Steel valves.🎉
4hrs!?!? This made up for that Calvo Interview! Well done!
Phew. So partially redeemed? lol
@@JustinWhiteTuned9407 You did good bro! Way better than the Calvo interview.
Im not even that knowledgeable about camshafts, but I know production engineering. I think I’m going to watch this entire thing 😂

I love when they get older people on the show.. It's refreshing..
It even more refreshing when young people actually take note … “with age comes wisdom”.
Vizards cam theory actually has been tested back to back for years and his theory has been validated.

ZR1 has more like 62mm turbos - GM keeps advertising them as 76mm, but they're a 62mm inducer and 76mm exducer on the compressor side.
Great info! I wonder if that boost/iat issue works the same for a turbo setup.
Yet to be tested but will be testing
