Safely dealing with the Gargantua in Half-Life 1

I had placed that laser trap when I had entered and forgot about it. Then when I was done turning on the power I realized the gargantua was blocking the way. Trying to run past it always took a large chunk of my health. So out of boredom I checked if I could deal with the gargantua without getting myself in trouble. Turns out I can, and I don't even have to lose anything in the process as my munitions are restocked in a matter of seconds.
Anyways, expect something non-game related for the next video. I've been working on a project, that's why there haven't been many uploads.
The video will be programming related.

It's on hard difficulty and the grenades are right there. It'd be a shame to waste the ammo :^)
