Average 27 minutes shift of Gordon Freeman at Black Mesa :

*> Creates a massive rift between worlds*
*> Refuses to elaborate at all*
*> Leaves*
This guy finished the game in the time i got to the suit.
this has to be one of the hardest speedruns ever done
And even Harder IS IT to beat
I don’t think anything will beat modern Super Mario Bros speedruns. Unless you’ve got superhuman reaction times, you have NO chance being anywhere on that leaderboard.
That said, still impressive stuff on display
@@scottcaramel truee that shit is just beyond human theres no guarantee even after 10k hours that youd ever get a good run. but i think if we see a new peak of half life in the next few years it will surpass even smb.
@@scottcaramel it has nothing to do with skill. It is impossible, not humanly impossible, just straight up impossible
@@scottcaramel bro thinks speedrunning is reaction
this guy just ran through the episodes i was stuck in for hours ...
i am watching in awe
Right? I just finished the game yesterday for the first time, and was like "holy !@#%" what, I spend here like an hour?!
Don't worry this dude spend way more hours than you to figure it out.
This randomly showed up on my feed and made me so happy that people still play this game after all these years. Congrats on the WR!
you may think that people play old games solely because of nostalgia but that's not true. those games were simply great, certainly better than many indistinguishable open world games nowadays.
I actually not sure that speedrunners really play games :)
@@Special1122 Another case of: it was better in the "olden" days
@@APFS-DS BUT is true. Games those days were made for entertainment, today games are made for money maker or the game just release BROKEN
@Special1122 si me da mucho coraje
You're absolutely insane. Congratulations! The skill level you have to have to achieve these niche tricks are absolutely astronomical.
Wasted though, what a waste
the sound effects of these automated doors, npcs, destruction, weapons, and all of half life sfx is just something else, i really miss going back to the late 90s
It is so fast that you can notice the musical evolution of background sounds !
This guys heart beat is crazy in the last battle. Congrats on your WR!
It looks like the sensor is way off. How can he have 180 heart rate for such a long time and breathe normally and talk?
@@wojciechsmierzynski7949it has been like that since he first started to use it. Idk if it’s accurate. The highest I’ve seen it is like 230 lol and like normal resting heart rate is like 90
mental strain, the brain needs some oxygen to burn through the sugars
@@ChadAV69 If your normal resting heart rate is 90 you should make an appointment with a cardiologist...
@@horvath83 Literal braindead comment.
This was absolutely beautiful to watch. HL1 speedruns were always my favorite to watch. Congrats on the WR!
hl2 its amazing too
I finished the game today in 10 hours. Amazing to see how it can be done faster. Epic.
Dunno why but i watch this like 2 or 3 times every month.. For some reason it is so relaxing to watch you just fly smoothly through the game
Is it because there are no loads that it makes the flow much smoother? It's funny that this is my most watched video while it's not the fastest way to beat hl1
@@KaNangaTVI'd say the uninterrupted flow (no saves etc.) of the speedrun is definitely one of the reasons why this is so satisfying to watch
@@KaNangaTVthe heart rate monitor also provides amazing insight into how you must have felt, especially during later chapters. Great job man ❤
Please say it took years for this guy to get this good. This is *insane* to watch! 🤯 Well done!
Think it was his 2nd or 3rd time playing the game /s
It almost looks like you’re playing on a sped up version of the game…
I just can’t believe your speed…
Absolutely incredible !
KaNanga I absolutly love and enjoy Half-Life speedruns!!! Thank you for making this new WR !!! You are awesome.
This randomly popped on my feed and I am grateful for it. Congrats!
The fact that game itself allows such flexibility is amazing..
Nowadays game’s storyline controls your moves..
this was so much fun to watch man. respect.
I remember playing through HF for weeks😂 Watching this run made my head spin. INSANE
Congrats! It's an insane speedrun, made me speechless.
The bunny hops that you're doing is insane! I'm glad that I witness the ending of this because when I was a teen I didn't even finish this.
congratulations man your level of precision is admirable, insane run!
i've just completed this game with 12.3 hours. every part he passes through amazed me more than the one before like how??? gj bro that jumps were crazy
I loved this game back in the day so much, made me happy playing it and it translated into cs 1.6 and csgo later on. Congratulations, your skill is so amazing to watch
I as a kz and surf/bunnyhop mega tryhard nerd who holds still some world records on some maps must say your movement is just godly, i legit had a smile on my face watching this.
just saw my childhood flash before my eyes
I laughed way to hard when the helicopter showed up and that meme song started playing. Very sick run! Crazy that there are even more seconds to save in it!
Wow. I know nothing about speed-running, but what was impressive is how many micro-details you need to have perfect, and how much of a variety of things you need to have down, and all the little unique situational stuff you need to have down too. Incredible timing
I now remember that in childhood, when I started playing halflife, I spent about six months completing it. This was the first shooter I played using a computer mouse, and it was very difficult to play. The speed in this video and the accuracy of the movements is amazing.
peaked at 183bpm heartrate, absolutely insane
at 186 actually
bruh my attentionspan really garbage atp lmao
This run was so clean congrats!!
John Cusack is killing it.
“Flying around Black Mesa at the speed of sound, got places to go, gotta follow my rainbow”
Wow, I have been playing this game for 20 years now and never believed that this feat could be accomplished. Congrats man!
have a nice life bro
@@perfectopubg7320 thanks bro, you too.
kids will never understand how hard it is, i spent hours just to figure the way out on this game and what this man doing is unbelievable
Like a human tasbot! :). epic run man. I just played through blackmesa recently and feelin the half-life spirit, this was a treat to watch
Is it worth playing Black Mesa if I haven't ever played the original HL1?
@@epicshibexd5049 for sure! and if you like Black Mesa you can always go back and play original. Could actually be pretty cool to experience that way. the subtle changes will leave you surprised whichever one you play first :).
Absolutely insane speedrun there! Major respect
haven’t watched a speedrun of this since LOLYOU did it years ago. holy shit how the times have changed. grats on the insane run!!!
always a dope experience, no matter how u beat this masterpiece
As a veteran counter strike source player and a bhopper, this is nuts! been playing css since 2006 and im still playing. this is dedication! GG
First minutes: 🥱
Real gameplay after experiment: 🤯
This was tense and insane! Congrats man!
Speechless. A game I've loved since a kid, and to see it played this efficiently is just mind blowing. Well done.
My cat watched this with me. Now he's mad bhopping all over the house. Shouting ocassionally "FREEMAN"
Sheer awesomeness, great stuff man!
This is the most incredible speedrun I've ever seen
Wauw, I have like literally zero clue what's going on all the time, but I'm amazed.
Great job keeping the memory of Half-Life alive and well! Also, impressive run!
this is fucking impressive, subscribed
i dont know why i always watch speedruns before sleeping i can barely follow up whats going on in the screen when im exausted xD
holy shit. enjoyed every little second. thats some serious skill
Imagine seeing your only help as a dying person in the facility zoom away
i remember watching Half Life in 20:41 for the first time and being astonished, at a loss for words. ,ow seeing the whole thing done by ONE person all in ONE segment and ending up only 7 min behind that video is whole other level of astonishment. Unholy sacrements must have occured for one man to have all that power.
‚Wow! What a run! Great Work. Beautiful to watch. Thank you. ;D
The "Helicopter, helicopter" part got me, not gonna lie
Great video, great run
Dude made G.Freeman to Sonic and broke 7267229 physics rules.
I zoned out while texting my gf and next thing i know ur halfway through the damn game
That was insane! One of the best speedruns I've ever seen. GG
That one guy in deathmatch:
Good run wakanga, you make us happy with your runs
Anyone who wants to play Half Life 2 should watch this video as a "previously On Valve's Half Life"
obejrzałem jak film fabularny dzięki
Insane bro this is actually impressive asf
25:25 I disagree with you, this game set the speedrunning scene all by itself. And you are now sitting on the throne of it all. I salute you, WHAT A RUSH! Love from Turkey, keep on being the könig
25 years ago, this game blew my mind. 25 years later, you have done the same. holy crap!!!
I saw a fraction of hmbomberyguy's video on speedrunning and never thought to watch Half-Life runs. My mouth is catching flies after this run.
How can you move so fast?
console commands
Bhops
Il a qu'un seul jeu . Depuis 1998 il joue a half live
Bind mwheelup +jump;
Bind mwheeldown +jump
Run forward and when in the air let go of w and alternate A and D while moving your mouse left and right smoothly respectively, and right before hitting the ground scroll the wheel
What my eyes see is something that has no explanation. The truth is, you have worked hard to take and find those shortcuts that have benefited you. What I saw is incredible. The truth is, I am happy that there are people who can take them into acount and see how to do it, I send you greetings man, and congratulations
this man is a legend
Damn impressive. Congrats!
y'know i thought i was pretty good at half life
now i feel like a newbie lol
Having this level of focus for 30 minutes I don’t understand how
I sense you have played this more than 3 times, right?
"Nothing can go wrong..." famous worda said eevry time before something goes wrong. Great video and skill!
impressive, very nice.
fckin insane, I never known that these things were possible in HL GoldSrc
INSANE RUN!!!
I randomly saw this and made me happy. You earned a sub.
Insane bro Congratz bro This game is pure nostalgia
Speedrun exists so long and it still getting optimized.. Amazing!
I glad you didn't have a heart attack. Amazing job.
I've played and finished the game about 15 years ago when I was little, but I have no idea what I'm watching
He knows that map better than I know my home
I seriously don't know how anyone can stand playing this. GGs
It’s true. I was borgen
-Son, you need to get ready. We will leave the house in half an hour.
+ Okay Mom. I'm going to finish the Half life game and leave
The power of autism never ceases to amaze me. Good run.
lmao
One minute in and I’m dizzy from all that crazy movement..
Oh boy.. Im bout to watch this whole thing
wow amaziiiiing, well played!
That headcrab zombie standing in the shape of the lambda on the wall behind him is cool
its been 20+ years and there is still content for this great game haha
I think hes not playing it for the first time😂
Incredible and well done! This brings back fond memories. Thank you!
I have no idea what the f*** I just watched, but I enjoyed every second of it!
I just randomly skipped through your video, INSANE MOVES! Kudos man!
Ryotaink'ten selamlar :) İyi video olmuş!
He finished the game in over 20 minutes and it took me 4 weeks to finish it :))
🤣🤣 same
I finished HL1 10 times but never in a speed run. I should give it a go I guess :)
Nice work sir
congrats broooo great WR
This makes Half-Life a very complex walking simulator
