I don't blame you. I appreciate the backup on that. People get upset when I refuse these jobs thinking I'm just trying to get more money but it's really about maintaining reputation and actually doing what's best for the customer.

GM 245mm FWD lockup cores are available in a WIDE range of stall speed and K values and are extremely plentiful. You can create excellent performance converters for many applications from them. You can even do performance TCC converters. Precision industries has a good spread of covers for many applications.

Man they destroyed that conv……I’ve never seen anyone bend the pump fins like that.
I am but an amateur but even I know that doesn’t fly.
Edit:the more I watch the worse it got. That’s a whole lot of counterproductive actions to get somthing worse.
I have seen a lot of builders over the years bend fins to that extent. I don't like it but some seem to think it works. There are better ways to obtain the objective in my opinion.
That convert is horrid. Please educate the viewers who made it so that can avoid that converter seller.
I don't want to do that. I'm not here to trash talk any individual. Besides the company could be sued the way things are these days. We don't have an extra $450 million sitting in the bank account.

Many times, it's just not worth it.
