That's a nice trick. I drilled and tapped mine. You might want to let the newbies know. They have to tap that ball back in that u pushed out before reinstalling the stator.
We just tore down my second hand C5 for a rebuild. We noticed that the by-pass hole was tapped but nothing was in there, no block off in that passage. Would that have been blocked with the press-in block off from the factory like what is shown at 4:42? Thanks.

I did forget to say that. I also re stake it in a bit to make sure it wont pop out under pressure.

The factory used check balls to block passages. Sounds like someone modified it previously. Be sure you dont have open ports.
Use a C5 pump !!! All mods already done.... 438Stroker Here ' with my own built C4 ....4.12 best 1/8 mile pass
