I have a 2007 ES 350 with 107K miles on it. I really like the way the car drives. It has required some repairs over the years, which aren't cheap, but it has mostly been a great car. Hoping it will last another 50K due to the high cost of new cars today. I am a big fan of Lexus and Toyotas.
I just found a one elderly owner 2013 Lexus ES350 with 67k on the clock. The husband passed away and the wife sold it on fb marketplace with the help of her daughter. I'm thankful that the gentleman didn't want any tech in 2013. It's bare-bones with no sensors, blindspot monitoring, backup camera, or navigation. There's just two small trays where the mouse and handrest goes. It's a thing of beauty that it doesn't have any of the antiquated tech with this timesless drivetrain! I still can't believe how quick this thing is for being a non sporty commuter. I'm probably going to pass this on to my daughter in a few years when she turns 16 and explore getting myself a 2013-2015 gs350. These older Japanese assembled Lexus vehicles are so under appreciated.

Hey Scotty. Could you possible try to source a Toyota Avalon? I have owned 2 of them. I had a 1998 Avalon XLS gold edition and a 2008. They were amazing cars. I bought the 1998 with 65k miles on it for $11k in 2003 and drove it for almost 6 years. I sold it with 120k miles on it for $8k. Not a single thing done to it but a tune up that I did myself. 6 years only cost me $5k!!! I had the same experience with my 2008 I bought. I really wish I had kept that 1998 longer though. What an amazing car. The 08 had more power but the finishes inside were not as high quality. But it was still a solid car. Every Toyota I owned over the years has cost me very little. I buy them used, tune them up, change the oil, and maintain them myself. Only Toyota that left me walking was a 1995 Camry XLE I bought. But I bought it knowing it had a bad transmission. It was a long time ago and I paid $3k for it. I put $1800 into rebuilding the transmission. I sold it 2 years later for $4500!!! That car cost me less than $1k to drive for two years. What an amazing time I had with Toyota from 2001 to 2015. I wish I could buy a new one but I don't want a turbocharged car. Naturally aspirated is the only way for me.
