What an awesome dream truck !
That’s a nice truck. The green and white have that creamy texture that really reflect the time period. Love it!
Thanks!
@@bumpsidetreasuresHey would really like to find a fixer upper in the 70s. Where could I start looking?

@@bumpsidetreasures I thought you guys restored them first. My bad, that made me feel smart. Cool. Will do. Thanks
Mighty fine
I remember the huge climb into these trucks when I was in high school
The sound of straight cut gears 😊
And I love the huge couch- like bench seat in them
VERY nice restoration! I'd love to do that to my '72 F250 2wd one day. My dad bought a '70 F250 2wd new. Custom Camper Special with 3 fuel tanks. Unfortunately, for some reason Ford decided to gear it really high with a 3.09 rear end. He remembers taking I-90 across Washington State and having it in 2nd gear climbing the Saddle Mountains with no load. The factory also overfilled the automatic transmission so it overheated pulling the grade, spilling onto the undercoat and causing it to catch fire. The truck was just weeks old but the truck survived the fire. Nearest dealer towed it in and drained excess fluid and they were on their way. The high gears made it lack power aside from the fact the 360 wasn't a powerhouse and he couldn't get much over 8mpg unless he gave it a tune-up every few thousand miles. It fell victim to the gas crunch of '74 and was sold to a relative.
Probably a lot of folks with similar stories!
@@bumpsidetreasures I forgot to mention dad's '70 F250 had the Wimbleton White on bottom but blue above the bumpside trim.
Dream truck / vehicle! I wrote in a family friends ranger as a young boy and still remember the drooling.
Beautiful truck! I love it!
That's a beautiful Ford 4x4 she would like to have that in my driveway
Excellent!! 😎🤠
Beautiful truck!
i have got to start making more money
No big deal...Only my DREAM truck..😁👌👍
Just rolling along in God's country
❤love this truck
Wow that's a good looking highboy..
I love this truck ! I already see myself putting headers on it because FE motors have such an amazing exhaust note with hooker headers!
My seat did the same thing on the edge from the trim cover 😅
We hate those covers!
really nicfe..what are you running for tires?>
We get that question a lot. Always 255/85/16 Toyo MT, best Highboy tire ever made, by far.
Bonified legit Rancho Deluxe right there.
beautiful highly optioned out truck! Some options Ive never seen before.
Were these considered a "hi boy" back then?
Stock height for a '67-'76 F-250 4x4. :)
What wheels are those? Look amazing
Powdered OEM type replacement steelies in 16".
What is the top speed with the motor 302?
Had a 360, and 4.10 gears. Would go as fast you you wanted, but typically keep it around 65
@@bumpsidetreasures I live in Argentina and here Ford produced the 223 engines of the Ford Falcon or 6-cylinder mustang from the 50's, 60's.
The bodywork of the f100 was renewed but the engines remained the same.
We had the 50's v8 292 twin-barrel carb.
Today they continue to be used because national spare parts designed in the USA are produced in Argentina.
We use liquefied petroleum gas to power these engines, which is more economical due to its high consumption. Is this fuel used in America?
I would love to buy it how much do you want for it
@@user-mz8nw5gt2g Sold a few years back for 77k
None ever came from the factory with a 390 engine.
Correct.
ok?
If it don't have a 12valve and a 6 speed, it ain't done yet.
Ain't devalued yet.
This truck is too much...not my style. I own a 71 Highboy, and a 70 Camper Special. They are both mean looking and run good...good mechanical condition all around. But your truck is too much, too nice. I would never do that to either of my vehicles just because I like it real.
