Vintique Motors is thrilled to present this 1972 Ford F-250 Ranger Highboy 4x4 4-Speed!
Per the original window sticker and the Marti Report, this 1972 F-250 is finished in Deluxe Tutone Mallard Green and Seapine Green over a green vinyl and cloth bench seat and Mallard Green interior and was ordered through the Seattle, WA district and sold new at Wendle Ford in Spokane, WA. This truck would spend nearly its entire existence in Washington before moving to Florida for a brief period followed by our acquisition and shipping to our showroom here in Michigan.
Originally equipped with a 360ci V8 rated at 196hp, the original owner swapped it out for a built 390ci V8 and is mated to a NP-435 4-speed manual transmission. Outback is a Dana 60 axle housing a 4.10 gear with a 4x4 system with manual locking front hubs. Being a upscale Ranger trim level F-250, this truck is equipped with power 4-wheel drum brakes with optional equipment consisting of ammeter and fuel pressure gauges, AM radio, roof cab lights, tinted glass, and sliding rear window.
Hailing from the PNW this is a rust-free survivor that has been maintained and refurbished as needed. Documentation shows the original owner had it fully repainted in 1986 and today it still shows in very good condition. A prior owner later installed a modern set of 16.5" chrome 10-hole wheels which are currently mounted on BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires sized 33"x12.5" as well as a shortened exhaust system dumping ahead of the rear axle.
Included with the sale is the original owner's manual, original warranty and maintenance booklet, original warranty card, original window sticker, the original title application dated 7/24/1972, Washington registrations under original ownership from 1975, 1979, and 1981-1983, the Marti Report, and documentation pertaining to the engine swap and repainting in 1986. Do not miss this opportunity to acquire this wonderfully preserved highboy as they are becoming increasingly difficult to find.

What a truck, My uncle Harmon owned one. And he told me that this type of truck. He said always start in second gear. To save the clutch, There is a kit for her. To convert her to power steering and brakes. And air conditioning. Then take her in between Dallas and San Antonio Texas and place a for sale sign up. I bet within a half and hour the truck would be sold.
Nice old truck
Beautiful styling back in the day
Omg that clicking of the shifting brings me back. I had a 72 F250 ranger camper special. 390 v8 4 speed 2wd. I wish I still had it.
Even if I didn’t like green who gives a shit it’s fucking a beautiful good stuff
Very Nice Highboy Truck!
I call it " armstrong" steering.
It has a NP435 trans.
You differentiate by where reverse is in the pattern.
My uncle gave my parents a '71, with the 390.
I learned the hard way that you had to manually turn the handle to switch gas tanks, fortunately I was close to a phone booth (yeah, I'm a fossil)
PS/PB/AT. Loved driving it.
The algorithm brought me by, loved the vid and am now subscribing
Awesome truck
Who ever owned her. Before you got her. Took good care of her. There is a kit for power steering and brakes and ac. And if you took her to Texas. Between Dallas and San Antiono with a for sale sign. She would be sold in 30 mins. And many years of service to come on a farm or ranch or daily driving down there. Awesome video

Beautiful truck. I would prefer the Ford blue, with stepside and correct badging. Good year when I turned 10. Riding with my cousin Greg. He sure knew how to pick a truck. Brand new, still smell the polyurethane paint ! Thanks for the video
No AC that’s OK. It’s still a cool truck. 👍👍👍
I'll add that my parents bought a '70 Ford Econoline, with the Chateau 12 passenger option.
No PS or PB, 302, and AT.
It certainly wasn't like driving a DeVille!
Hermosa pick up. Acá en Argentina esas no llegaron, solo conocimos las F 100.
I have a 77’ f350 ranger that I’m restoring it was my great grandfather’s but I don’t know where to get parts from
The engine is brand new with only 3000 miles I just need interior and exterior parts
LMC truck, Dennis Carpenter, National Parts Depot, Summit Racing…. Lots and lots of vendors carry parts for these classics
LMC is great
Ever heard of Google?
