I've always liked the CAT 299....my older Kubota SVL90-2 had hydraulic over heating issues (when running the fecon head on hot summer days) and I ended up putting a loftness cool flow on the cab and that made a world of difference. I noticed some of the 299's have a similar cab top cooler. Has CAT addressed this issue on these newer models?

I have seen a few 299's with the cab top cooler. It will be interesting to see what happens with this machine is the next couple months as temps get into the 95-100 degree days down here. There's a possibility, we have to add one but hoping we don't.

@@haydenhicks80 I've spoken with a couple ASV owners who say that those machines seemed to have addressed that issue. And to that point I haven't seen an ASV with a cab top cooler. Hope the other brands handle that issue. Nothing is more irritating than having to shut down to cool off. Time and money wasted for sure.

@@benniebarrow348 I think all models with High Flow should be equipped with additional cooling by all manufacturers... the load on the machine with a hitch when this mode is needed is much higher...

You can clearly see how the vines growing through the trees significantly hinders the clearing process by binding everything together.
