  • First job with the diamond mower and the worst I've ever stuck the loader. I finally got the diamond mower back together and repainted and it's time to try it out on this 2 acre site. This mower is a beast! I'm impressed with it, it cuts everything down with ease. It was making quick work of this site when I got the loader stuck. Someone dug a test hole for a septic awhile back and the grass had grown over most of it. While trying to mulch up a tree I lost sight of the hole and ended up driving off in it lol! Luckily the 260 was close by and I was able to dig it out then spent about the 3 hours the next morning power washing and cleaning all the mud out. This mower is definitely going to be a great investment, when it was all said and done I have around $3800 in this mower so you can't complain about that. Thanks for watching! #EliteEarthworks #Takeuchi #DiamondMowers

Called a guy today about buying a new rotary mower for my 50 HP tractor. Once he quoted the price, 😲 I told him I already had a tractor for it, I just needed the mower! And that's PTO driven, so I reckon $3800 is a pretty good deal!

My old boss would not have been as nice as you were. He would have been cussing, get the chains off the truck, as he walked to get the backhoe. Then he would yank the track loader out of the hole. And start cussing again, get the chains off and get back to work. Great operator with years of experience. But accidents happen, and he was not one to mince words. Good luck with life and the jobs you do

23:00 Same thing happened to me. We had just bought a home with 45 acres, 42 acres of woods. I bought a used Bradco cutter and rented a Kubota skid steer. 2 hrs in to the cutting I hit a depression that sunk the skid steer up to the top of the tracks. Fortunately I was near the farm to market road and could get a tow truck to get me unstuck. Took about an hour to do so.
Also took me about 5 hrs with a pressure washer to clean the skid steer before returning it back to Kubota. 🤣
Needless to say I bought a 35 hp tractor and took my time thinning around the trees.

    Hi Brandon!!😀😀
Wow man what a soup hole. Glad to see you probably didn't hurt the loader. But it sure would have made me nervous being down that deep. Thank goodness you have something you were able to dig it out with.
When I sunk my 1140 in a swamp within 8 inches of the top of the hood. It took a 3400 Linkbelt on crain mats to pull me out. Luckily the pump side was in the deepest and the hole didn't fill up with water so the mud didn't get inside the machine. Worst thing was it was cost me 700 dollars to get pulled out. If I think of it I will send you a couple photos of it when it was stuck.
    Take care buddy!!😀😀

Oh man!!! That went from Ecstacy to Agony real quick.... didn't it? My guess is that the video of you going into the hole was skipped because the language was all "Adult Swim" rated.
That first batch of trees that you hit were sassafras. They are soft and splinter easily. Then you got into some elms, oaks and mulberries. I began to think that mower was gonna work. I was just getting ready to comment that the mower really looked well matched to the Koochie when you started describing how effortlessly it was running. Looks to me that you have a winner!!
I bet a five dollar car wash wouldn't have even cleaned the windows after that mess!!
Big Deal 18 has nothing on you.... he had help getting the last one unstuck! Nice job getting it out.... and catching it on video too!

That mower sounds wicked, seems like it will cut through anything. I looked like it was good there seemed to be a bottom to that hole you ended up in, cause it was just soup as you dug around the loader. It's too bad that rain didn't hold off till after you go out of the hole, it might have power-washed the loader clean!! Fully enjoyable video, especially since you got out (hopefully the air filter held most of the water from getting past it)

any good blade cutter you should not feel or hear anything, if you do the blade is to light, the blade should be a minimum of 1" thick and 6" wide and you dont hear or fel a thing unless its a rock then you see fire. here we mush have a fire back pack handy, when i am cutting with a skid steer being the ground clearance is so low, i never go parallel to the brush as you dont know whats in there and any drop your hung up, i always cut in at a 45 angel the length of the machine, back out and keep working my way down the line, then work back, this way you can feel the lay of the ground and catch it before you have a problem, cutting on a dozer or skidder it really dont mater. i custom built 2 of my cutter from nothing, beats any of the bought ones

One you should have pulled it out backwards so could use the front to level and push while pulling with the excavator two you should have dug a hole on the opposite side to drain the water out so you didn’t make the side you were pulling it out on all muddy
