    The large mulcher shown in the thumbnail is all I need to see, those things are NOT forestry machines, they are landscaping machines. Forestry means getting usable products from the forest, mulching in place does not give you anything but poorly cleared land.

    Ellis likes the big giant fellerbuncher that has four grippy wheels. It’s really big and has so much horsepower that it gathers up two trees, one tree, or even more trees.

    Oh God How I could use that big ass Mulcher machine. I've been working clearing land with a chainsaw, weed eater with brush blade, I recently got a grapple for our tractor which has really helped my back out but just being able to drive through everything leaving nothing but wood chips in my wake would be awesome

    BUT! how much does a 2x4x8 cost from harvest coming out the the door at the store..
    Things break, does it take a computer and two trucks full of tools to work on it?
    How does it make the owner money?
    what is it profit rate time?
    To much great stuff that no one will ever pay off./

    I just drove my atv past a recently forested area. It didn’t look like the machines were ‘guardians of the forest’. It looked more like a bomb or tornado touched the area.

    Yea that 635 swingboom doesn't do any felling at all....

  • @watchthe1369
    @watchthe1369 Год назад

    A swing boom skidder cuts nothing. The AI is making the usual errors. It wish there was less sales pamphlet hyperbole and more information like how heavy those trees are that they whip around so easily.

  • @dustup2249
    @dustup2249 Год назад

    Uhhh. The 635 swing boom does not cut or process trees in any other way than skid bundles of logs from the cut site to the deck without the need for a forwarder.

    Most of theses machines are over priced for how easy they can break especially the land crearing ones that can't handle an accidental rock.

    It’s painfully obvious the narrator hasn’t a clue what he is describing. He should at the minimum learn the basics before hand. His confusion between chipper, grinder, and mulcher is laughable.
