i was renounced by my family members excerpt my parents bcz i became an atheist in 2001. i was Muslim, best decision i have made in my life. i had 2 gf and wife over the years they all gone. life goes ups and down, now i am back to square one. let it go. nothing is yours and nothing you take with you, if you love your self then you can live. just live and just do it. namo buddhaya,,,,
Good for you to thi k for yourself and not be brainwashed by religion. Be a moral person, don't kill anything and be loving. That is a life worth living. Be happy and carry on my fellow human❤
Thank you for sharing your story. Life is truly an ever-changing journey, and sometimes we need to let go to rediscover ourselves. Just live in the present and appreciate each moment; everything will turn out for the best. Namo Buddhaya.
Not gonna lie, letting things go was really hard for me, I feared for myself and living in a lonely life without things/people. Honestly I started to think like a monk and practice Buddhas way of thinking. It’s really helpful and I’m living my best life now. Thank you so much Monk!
I broke up with my girlfriend a day ago , the emotional pain was excruciating - as if I own her. What a timing for this video for me. That’s it the fault is my own, with that I learned a valuable art of letting go. Thank you for opening up my ignorance, narrow minded view of the world.
Thank your girlfriend for the lessons while together, whether good or bad, every person you have in your life is for the purpose of leaning and growing. Sometimes we are the student, sometimes the teacher and all things happen for a reason and benefits all involved. You now know yourself even more now and closer to your potential in this life. .
I also had the same thing My gf broke up claiming she is a red flag herself and acted so much psychotic...for past 3 years I wanted to break up several times but she would blackmail me with everything she got and made me stay but suddenly when I started scolding her saying she won't change she left me suddenly... Throw everything away was very painful felt like what are these 3 years even mean to me like that slowly slowly I'm recovering but the damage she did is huge idk why people come and break up but maybe as buddha says everything in life as a meaning just wanted to share my memory to here, it's been 4 months since this happened but i learned a lot. Wish people understand more of what they do in life. But i feel like I finally free from something, past 3 years felt like hell and sick but now feels slowly slowly normal she said she doesn't care even if I die maybe people do change drastically I saw it first hand with her.. Slowly I hope I get through this and my disease namo buddhaya
@@Leviathan0721 This teaching by Buddhism may help you through this darkness. It is called: How to deal with toxic people... | Buddhism In English Q&A. Blessing of love to you and may you know how special you are and the role of all pain and sadness in your life. We all have been affected by the same issues, just different stories.
@DreamWeaverSoul yes I just now watched it after reading comment Feels a lot better now I should start ignoring and let go of my hatred too I feel I hurting myself a lot, from here on out I'll start caring myself more and try to stay peaceful and calm when I face those kind of people. But i feel deep within it was an experience that will help me along the way. Thanks a lot ❤🙏for sharing the video title. Namo buddhaya
@@Leviathan0721 Do not ignore your feelings, no matter what they are, even hate, love them, accept them as yours and watch it fade as your love light shines through your own darkness. We all contain the darkness and light within, we are that and to transform all to unconditional love (what we are).
You uploaded the video just on the right time when I needed it. The very necessary preachings I needed to have at this moment. Very grateful for your preachings. Namo Buddhaya.
After spending 7 years in navodaya vidyalaya and forming a brother like bond with all my friends the sudden separation from them was so sad time for me thank you for this nice video
Letting go can be such a challenging but liberating practice, and this video does an amazing job of explaining it from a Buddhist perspective. 🌿 If anyone here is also working on self-acceptance and self-love as part of their journey, I recently made a video called 'How to Love Yourself Deeply: A Peaceful Guide to Inner Harmony.' I believe learning to love ourselves and let go of what no longer serves us are two powerful steps towards inner peace. Thank you for sharing these valuable teachings!
Thank you for sharing such insightful teachings. 🙏🙏🙏 The lessons from this video encourage us to look deeply into the nature of attachment, realize the impermanence of everything, and learn to let go of desires and the urge to control everything. By letting go, we can achieve a state of peace and inner freedom. Understanding Letting Go Correctly: Buddha did not advise us to abandon the things we love but instead taught us that everything is temporary, and we need to understand that they will change and that one day we will have to part from them. Attachment Comes Not from Material Things but from the Mind: Attachment does not stem from objects but from the desire and thought that they belong to us. Reducing Attachment by Understanding Impermanence: When we realize that life and everything within it are constantly changing, we will become less attached. The Example of the Cow: Attachment is like holding tightly onto a rope tied to a cow, causing us pain as we struggle to keep it close. When we let go of the rope, the cow may run away, but it will eventually come back. Life as a Magic Show: When we do not understand, everything appears like a deceptive magic trick. But once we understand its true nature, we can still enjoy it without being caught up in the illusion. Letting Go Means Letting Go of Craving: We do not let go of the object itself, but rather let go of the craving for it to remain unchanged and always belong to us.
Is not an easy of knowing just letting goes. But eventually with great wisdoms and compassions, you will knows letting goes of everything by the tonnes that truly bares weight on your virtuous soul's. You will definitely will! Very well explained. 👏 👏👏👏 👏 Namo Buddhaya Namo Amitabhaya 🙏
my cat ranaway recently while going to vet in fear, my house lil near the vet hospital and knowing the fact "my cat is outdoor and he knows to find place " still he hasn't been back, i was so depressed, i hope he comes back safely, healthyly soon
For me it was different, i didn't want to keep a person but i couldn't let go of pain he caused and what he did to me. I was under such mental stress for so long... until i forgave him. Thats when i was able to let go. It still hurts some days but i forgive. It is what it is and we cant change the past. It is not easy, it takes time and realisation and a lot of inner work
The old Scottish proverb sais " Forgive your enimy, but remember the bastard's name" It's natural , nothing wrong, You are teaching from the lessons not to make the same mistakes twice.
Agree 100% doing the work the way to go, forgiveness comes easy from it. Then I had to forgive myself for not forgiving others, so natural for me to do it now. Still a work in progress 😊
real enlighten is to let go... no feeling for anyone or anything.. the goal of Buddhism. be in peace, live or die , don't even need to care , let nature takes its course.
Namo Buddhaya 🙏🪷🙏 Very Nice explanation on the topic of Attachment , Main cause of the pain is the attachment , Without Attachment we can't feel the pain , and pain is the door of self discovery and I think so, that this is why God has created pain and sorrow so that we could find ourselves , I really love your soothing and relaxing voice , 🪷🔱🪷Thank You so much Sir
Thanks Bhante 🙏 for showing us attachment from different perspectives. I thought that I know about attachment and now you gave me a different, more helpful perspective. Namo Buddhaya🙏.
The concept of codependency is not a healthy one, because it can stop a lot of us from letting go. Illusion of the mind is correct, love this thank you. ❤

When I try to create some good habits or remove some negative habits I fail. Can I take full control of my mind through the meditation if cannot then please give me a solution of my problem how can I take control and stay focus in anything how long I want. Please give me a answer 🙏🙏🙏
Sir I watched your video from Nas Daily channel and came to realize that you're from Nepal. I've also been watching you since many years but in the description I see that its Sri Lanka. Where are you from? If you're from Nepal, can we come to meet you at your monastery because I have some very deep questions. As always thank you for the great wisdom you put out there. ❤
I’m an undergraduate student in my final year, final semester. Lately, I’ve been struggling to find peace, and I’m not sure how to manage my thoughts. My mind feels anxious, often fearing meaningless and negative things, which leaves me feeling down and unsettled. Because of this, I’m losing my sense of peace, and my sleep has also become disrupted. I’m hesitant to share this with my family too much, as I don’t want them to worry continuously. But I don’t know how to handle these feelings on my own. I want a life filled with peace and happiness, Sir. I’ve tried meditation, including loving-kindness meditation, but I’m still unable to overcome these thoughts. I have big dreams for my future, and this is affecting my focus and well-being. I’m sharing this with you because I feel lost and deeply worried. Please help me if you can sir😢

Impermanence is the only permanent, nothing is yours, indeed is painful to let go of attachment but the truth frees us.. All is well
