Joey had a great sense of humor.

That happened around the time of End of the Century, Pleasant Dreams era, and yes he did eventually marry Linda but that was either right before or right after they retired. But there were many reasons why they retired, that was always a thorn in Joey's side.

Joey never dated Johnny’s wife, Joey had feelings for her but she never had a romantic interest in Joey. She never even knew Joey had a thing for her.

To be fair, I thought he was at least a little classy about some of the other rumours about Joey, saying they're all bullshit when he knew they weren't. And he never dropped any of that stuff himself in these interviews (I don't think, anyway) just kept it at the stupid playground stuff. Took the high road and stuck to childish insults.

Joey had lymphoma, and I’m sure he was tired. He needed to take care of his health. He tragically died two years after this interview.

I wanna know why joey and his brother Mickey didn't get along I didn't read Mickey's book yet
Joey and Mickey fell out because Mickey sang background on "Blitzkrieg Bop", and in 1990, it was used in a Budweiser beer commercial in which each of the Ramones received payment. Mickey, at that time, was struggling financially, and felt he deserved to receive some compensation for his contribution to the song. He approached Joey about it, but Joey, not wanting to cause friction within the band, ( and Johnny), refused. This led to a major falling out between both brothers, which lasted on and off until Joey, tragically broke his hip and ended up in hospital. Thankfully, they had a full reconciliation in the months before Joey passed away. Mickey details the situation in his book.

Joey’s mental issues were the biggest problem in the band, everyone else could get along but Joey always seemed to have issues with everyone else at some point in time.
You bring up a good point for sure. Joey is my favorite Ramone, but looking at it that way, he's the common denominator. On the other hand, I know for a fact that a ton of people around Vera Ramone's(Dee Dee's widow) circle low key despise Linda to this day. One of Vera's best friends was like "eww" and rolled her eyes when I brought her name up last summer. There seems to have been a lot of drama involving and surrounding the band, including shit that fans don't know about.
I think Joey was dying of cancer. He didn't die long after. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

According to Wikipedia, he was diagnosed in 1995. So by this time, he was indeed sick.
I believe he was battling, but doing well. He would've beaten it, if he didn't slip on the ice and break his hip.

@@mr.smithgnrsmith7808 Joey was diagnosed with Lymphoma in 1994. He kept his illness from the band. By 1996, he wasn't feeling well enough to go to South America. Joey's brother Mickey details this in his book.

Why dee dee talked without asking permisson to Joey? Drugs drove Dee dee more stupid than he was. I am sorry but maybe at the beginning he wasnt like that but then in the documentary end of a century sounded like an asshole when he said sth about the band and Joey. Then It makes you sad to think that Joey was actually dying and his sense of humour never got away. What a wonderful soul Joey amd how brave you were!

That's disappointing to hear, but I'm not surprised. A widow of one of the guys rolled her eyes at me and said "ew" when Linda's name got mentioned. This was two years ago. Idk there seems to still be hatred towards Johnny's circle all of these years later.
