During an interview with Joey and Dee Dee in 1986, someone asked them "When they decide to retire, how will it go?" And Dee Dee said it'll be them alone in a room with four baseball bats and they'll go at it with each other until the last man is standing. Classic Dee Dee. RIP.
Johnny comes across as the sanest of the bunch in this interview. I have to say that I have some sympathy for Marky in the spat with Joey. Joey just didn’t seem capable of letting things go, persisting in asking Marky for an apology when Marky tried to meet him half way. I think Monte Melnick said the same thing in End of the Century documentary - Joey just couldn’t let anything go. Band are legends though and loved this interview with Stern.
This is funny , especially how everyone is saying on Howard’s show how well he treats his employees?? Proven he douche out on all of them . Howard is as honest as satan on broken polygraph
Well, the plan right before he died was he was going to be the frontman of Misfits after Michale Graves. The results of this can be heard on his cover of 1969 with Jerry Only and DR.CHUD from Misfits. He was also going to be the vocalist on Project 1950, but he died. He got on stage for a couple songs with Misfits during the Graves era, as did Dee Dee and Marky.
Imagine these guys back stage every night and in the studio making an album. These guys should have had a reality show.
Their reality was a shit show 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@derekmoody1358especially poor Joey who desperately needed mental health services but it wasn’t that good back then

Yes, lots of projection on Howard's part here.
🤣🤣🤣 there should be a Netflix comedy miniseries about the Ramones
@mauriceortiz8817.I was thinking the same and it should be called (HA HO IVE PULLED MARKS WIG OF HIS HEAD AND IT'S HANGING ON MY WALL.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If it weren’t for Johnny the band would have never extended past selling cassettes after shows at CBGB’s.
Everyone played their role. The ramones wouldn’t have been the ramones without Joey
You are right
Johnny was always on the ball when it came to the bisnuess end of the Ramones.
I wish we could’ve heard a supergroup with Joey on vocals.

marky is bobo in a wig
This is actually part 2
I would trade ten markys for one more joey or johnny
Fuck Johnny - Dee Dee and Joey are where it's at
Marky and Joey’s banter is great, where as Johnny is boring and angry
Damn Marky loves to say Howard's name 😅
It sound good in that thick Brooklyn accent
What about a mirkin
