We played so much Mega Drive at home, that the controllers kept wearing down. My mother went to Fame Music in Amsterdam, asking for an alternative to the pads and the employee recommended her the 6 button power stick. She bought it and it still works almost 30 years later.
So would pushing the limits of the Sega CD instead of demanding that we all run out and buy yet another $160 addon. Ironically the Sega CD version of so many of those games ended up being the best. The PowerBase Mini FM converter from Stone Age Gamer was a really cool add on for the Megadrive, letting you play Sega Master System games (same as the Master System Converter) and also listening to the FM sound audio for the games who supported.
Those are some awesome peripherals and add-ons. I think the 32X also improves the picture quality of your regular Mega Drive games compared to the basic Mega Drive cables. It's all about the official Sega 6 button controller for me. That thing is still my 2nd best controller. The sega manacer shouldn’t be missed out as well and there was also the 3D glass called the victormaxx stuntmaster, But my most interesting (yet in prototype) addon is to allow you to play gamegear games on the master system and once redifined you should also run it trough the genesis master convertor, This adaptor does realtime color mapping,it will be a must have.

I have a few retro consoles. But I can't find box protectors for my Japanese Sega Saturn or my PSP. The place I used to get them from no longer ships to the UK, was wondering, does anyone else here know of a place that does console box protectors?
I end up check eBay for them. I used to get them from Germany but the company I used won't ship to the UK, it's too much fuss now and they are to small for it to be worthwhile to them.
I have a question about your super 6 button controller. If you play Doom32x can you map the strafe to the shoulder buttons? That would be C + left or right. If it can I'll get one right now 🤣

I've got the karaoke unit, but I do not have the Genesis Sega strip or most of the Genesis peripherals. I'll start collecting for the Geni this year I think.
I like to mix it up. People from all over the world watch the show and the Genesis is more than just a name. It had its own exclusives, peripherals , and collectors editions.
The 32x was released 11 days after the Saturn. Wow. That's such a ridiculous decision. Did nobody teach the Sega higher ups about market cannibalization?
Ohhh, i don't know how to say this but, i kinda stopped paying for my Netflix subscription because it was preventing me playing video games at night, every time i wanted to do so a new tv show would've just popped out and i told to myself i just see 1 episode but i ended up seeing more until it was past midnight so i decided to stop the subscription so i can play some old school n new video games at night
@@RetroGamerBoy Yeah lol we should complain to Netflix customer support for preventing us playing video games xD Their stock has been falling for past few weeks from 600 bucks to 180 recently, thx god i didn't buy any at that price However since it's becoming cheaper i think i can own some in my portfolio
How come u love 32X it only came with 20 games and only 3 to 6 of em were good enough to play The rest of the peripherals i didn't even hear back in my age of 16 bit era, there were all absent in this dump, except the arcade stick i saw few in here
Impressive video and Add-Ons for Genesis. I should mention that I just tried playing Sonic CD for the Sega CD last winter and was blown away by how well the game was done for the new system, but it was a dying trend. In addition, this spring I played Mickey Mania: The Timeless Adventures of Mickey Mouse as well as NBA Jam and I was satisfied with those games as well. By the way, I had no idea that the Genesis could be connected online and play games with someone like that, and I had no idea that it had its own dust case . Thanks Mike for letting me know these things. Here's a video idea for next week, this time from me and @Michael MJD. ruclips.net/video/g2hr8CgU3uM/видео.html
Great list. As much as i love the modem though it is essentially useless. I think maybe a better item for the list would have been the sega cd memory cartridge, which is a must if you play any RPG's for the Sega CD as the internal memory just wasn't enough to save those massive files. aint no way bro forgot the sega cd karioky unit and the genisis power strip
I've got the karaoke unit, but I do not have the Genesis Sega strip or most of the Genesis peripherals. I'll start collecting for the Geni this year I think.
Ok but put Mega drive first, you’re in England.
Wow, what really helpful constructive criticism.... 🤡
I like to mix it up. People from all over the world watch the show and the Genesis is more than just a name. It had its own exclusives, peripherals , and collectors editions.
@AdisneakerFreak or should I say AdisneakerFuck ?
@@RetroGamerBoy yes of course but stay true to yourself and put MD first as that’s it original and global name. Just not in North America. 🤷♂️.
Tag hatte den selben für snes und für sega ein 6 baten controller
I love the 6 button controller.
The 32x was released 11 days after the Saturn. Wow. That's such a ridiculous decision. Did nobody teach the Sega higher ups about market cannibalization?
It's insane. I think they were hoping that first adopters would be the Saturn and then everyone else would go for the 32X.
I have that same problem 😅
@@RetroGamerBoy Yeah lol we should complain to Netflix customer support for preventing us playing video games xD
Their stock has been falling for past few weeks from 600 bucks to 180 recently, thx god i didn't buy any at that price
However since it's becoming cheaper i think i can own some in my portfolio
@@RetroGamerBoy Kalibri was my favorite in 32x i don't know why but i loved that game, i still play it sometimes via a good emulator
You doubt of the criteria on this video when a sound cable for the 32x gets rank 8 while the 32x itself gets rank 9.
Well it's my video my list. Post a link to your top ten if you have a different top 10.👍
@@RetroGamerBoy Nah... I'm not youtuber and I coudn't possibly be good at it because I don't take constructive critics in a good manner.
A game genie or action replay
I thought about adding them in the list. I could probably swap out the modem for Action Replay 2.

How come u love 32X it only came with 20 games and only 3 to 6 of em were good enough to play
The rest of the peripherals i didn't even hear back in my age of 16 bit era, there were all absent in this dump, except the arcade stick i saw few in here
I can't explain it I just am. I guess it like people who love a rubbish movie.

The Mega Drive also had a VR head set that was never released.
Also that's a very cool win 95 simulation.
All I can say is Now your playing with tower of power ooohh soooo sexy 😉 🤘
🤘😝🤘
WHAT??? How come the Activator is not topping your list? 🤣
One day it will be, what the list will be about I don't know yet.
Great list. As much as i love the modem though it is essentially useless. I think maybe a better item for the list would have been the sega cd memory cartridge, which is a must if you play any RPG's for the Sega CD as the internal memory just wasn't enough to save those massive files. Also i totally need to get a dust cover.
That's a good call, I don't have one of those yet.
