I admire the passion for the sega mega drive collection. The chair is a awesome find and beautiful work on the box taking the time to complete and restore the look that best represents the company. From a Sega fan myself from the U.S. that grew up playing the Genesis I love rare obscure items like this. And the passion preserving and restoring items of this era is amazing. Keep up the good work 👌

I think it's difficult to control because of the weight, because it's more designed for children than for adults, although now we want to see you use it and how it works in real time XD. It will be neat to see your restoration of the chair as well.
I really adore that YOU made a box for this; that's so epic and looks amazing! I will 100% have YOU design the Collector's Edition box art and packaging for the Do You Nerd game, available on SNES, Switch and Genesis of course. lol
So adorbs that you then do an unboxing--love it!

Awesome video! I remember having a shot of a Sega Action Chair when I was about ten years old, and I loved it. There used to be a Comet in Auldhouse Retail Park (south side of Glasgow), and they had one hooked up to a Mega Drive - with Sonic the Hedgehog (of all games!) as the game that was in the console. This would have been in 1992. I had great fun using the chair, and I really wanted one… but my dad wouldn’t buy it for me (and in fairness, we wouldn’t have had anywhere to put it - the Mega Drive was in my bedroom, and there definitely wasn’t enough space for it!). I don’t remember seeing a box for it… they just had the chair on display and for potential customers to try out (with Sonic), but I don’t think the box was actually on display anywhere.

This a very great job, and has a Sega Custom cover maker (and Console Sleeve ) you had done something amazing. But more importantly I used to have this Chair as a kid. When I saw it on a charity shop I buy it (for 5£) because I was secretly hoping to use it on my Amstrad or Master System : and of course it's work ! I enjoy it the most on a Star Wars X Wing game, Ghostbuster 2 was cool too and every racing game feel real.
And I sold it because I didn't own a Amstrad or Méga Drive year later..for 5£😂

@Retro Gamer Boy I wish I had have tried to repair it at the time. It was actually a pretty cool piece of kit. But just trying to play Super Monaco GP was like the Krypton Factor!

Soooooooo.. how much!? xD That's amazing work. Really looking forward to the resoration video, don't be afraid to sand down the whole thing if needed. I know I would. Always love people putting their skills to good use, not only this look official, it must also give you an enormous sense of self-accomplishment.

It's going to get sand blasted and the power coated. That will ensure it lasts forever.

I swear, you're gonna put up a video in a few weeks with something like "rare boxed sega megadrive wireless ashtray." I have no idea where you're getting all these peripherals, but it's fantastic.

He he, nice. I remember the advertising from "Centro Mail" in the magazines of the time, like Hobby Consolas or Super Juegos, here in Spain. It was like 120€ I think, (19900 pts), with the inflaction that would be quite the money today :-D
