- In this exciting episode of our El Camino Honda CRV body swap series, we focus on the rear of the car, making significant progress. I build a custom frame that merges the bed to the CRV floor, tying everything together seamlessly. Additionally, I create custom wheel tubs using trailer fenders. These fenders are cut in half, extended, and customized with dimple dies to ensure a perfect fit and look. This video showcases major advancements in the project, bringing us closer to completing the AWD Honda-powered El Camino. Don't miss the detailed fabrication process and innovative techniques. Thats badass when he says " Thats the only answer that we need" very true on every thing he does!
The wheel tubs should have been built to have secret storage.
Would be really cool to see a collab with you and Taylor Ray on his LS Street Truck.
great location for the drill in front of the natural ice poster..lol
Not hating, but I think you do have the ability to make compound curves using an english wheel👍🏽 25:54
That was a lot of work you put in and made it look really easy ... hats of to you sir 👏 🙌 🙏 👍
really wanted to see the CRV folding table in the bed, hope you find a way to integrate it into the build. its looking awesome!
Yeah please have the next giveaway be this! 🤞
Respect the grind and progress on the El Chapomino 👌
Dude you killed it,but my uncle would have put more speed holes🔥
You should make a hatch in bed to access fuel pump...
Why? You can get to it behind the seat
@@BodeVision ahhhhhh I didn't know that lol. Carry on my friend...kick ass work.
@@BodeVisiondo you really have the height to get the sending unit and pump out? I'm liking the project, don't get me wrong. But I wouldn't want to put a fuel pump in it myself lol. It's definitely gonna need one if you're boosting.
Extremely amazing work bro. Keep doing your thing. 🍻
With all that room for fat wheels, maybe rip out the rear independent suspension and hang a diff. Just an idea since that bed came out really nice!
Make the extra space in the tubs into locking storage areas. And the speed holes could hold a rod for transporting cargo.
This is the type of content i like to watch no nonsense no time waste just straight to work keep it up Sir💪💪
I really enjoy the format. Problem solving and discussion without fluff
build looks insane i cant wait for the next video keep up the great work.
Drill the holes, make em race holes, weld them. Why? Because! And this is the true nature of every custom build))). Love it from the first episode...
Love how it’s coming together. Lots of planning and structured pieces to tie the bed together.
The speed holes in the wheel well look sick! Great touch!
El CRVino!
Amazing work Adam the rear bed and the wheel tubs look like they were made like that at the factory, sorry to keep saying this but your fabrication skills are second to none as everything you do is well thought out and always fit first time👌
One thing that I did notice is that you didn't do any rust prevention under the bed Adam, maybe I'm over thinking it but I thought you might paint all the box section before you fitted the floor🤔maybe it isn't so important where you live but here if it isn't treated then it will start to rust within a few weeks🙏👍John UK
this is so cool
Nice update on the Honda El Ca-CR-Vino! Just a question - what if the fuel pump ever goes bad? You've got a bar running over it, so don't think you'll be able to pull the pump out the tank, as well as welding the flat bed right over top?
Looking good. I like the holes in the wheel tubs. Coming along nicely... about here is where most people loose push to finish, but you will push on to an incredible build
Question, what will happend if someone rear end your car with the thick beam you put in the bed. They will shoot forward into the cabin. Think about that.
All this vacant space would be really great for storage and hidey holes.
Watching all that storage space being permanently covered was painful. You could have sealed off the rear seat and spare tire areas from the rest of the skate, put some drain holes in them, then built hatches in the ElCam floor. Building an under lip and using gaskets, they even could have been water tight.
The old El CR-Vino is shaping up real nice!
BRUH!!! I literally also thought of EL CR-VINO on this video. Hahahahaha. TRADEMARK THAT RIGHT THAR!
Damn right
Dad watching you work and nodding in approval 12:44 chefs kiss
Hopefully you’ll have access to the spare tire, I think you’ll need an access hatch for that. Looking forward to the end result.
Man those are big wheel tubs
tell me this is getting a 1000hp kswap soon
How refreshing- a professional. Watching another so called expert in body swaps, 20-30 times you hear "what a pain in the ass" or Oops I fuked up, and his finished products look like they may fall apart so...... he gives them away as " prizes " if you purchase products. I can't wait to see the end of this build - subscription engaged 😅
Loving the major progress in this episode! The custom wheel tubs are looking fantastic! We sent you an email, take a look.
Looking good !
Hondameeno 😮
If you can find the smaller round p100 discs for your respirator, it will fit under your welding hood. I'd advise you to consider wearing it when using abrasives as well.
I appreciate you. Thank you for sharing your skills knowledge and experience
I'm watching you build the back of the bed and I keep thinking Ridgeline trunk.
Let's go bode my boy 💪💪💪 first 🔥🔥 content as always
Your attention to detail is amazing brother! Truly inspiring for me and so many others. Keep the content coming and I’ll for sure be entering your giveaways until I win!
LoVe the project, especially the cutting on a plastic bin and welding on paper :L
2 things;
1 - why don't u just put some rubber behind the holes to stop water getting in but will still have the hole there for looks?
2 - why not make the wheel tubs bolt in?
Nice bro. Coming along. Love those tubs
Brother, you are doing this build with Breeze. Man, you good! 👍
This build is impressive but I hate the wheel tubs. I think the panels you welded in under the tubs look better... or could with a little massaging. And a lot of wasted space. That being said I do understand why you did the big tubs. Maybe it is time to invest in an English wheel and start practicing... 😅
The Hond-Ole! mix of honda, chevrolet with a hispanic twist.
I need this car 😭😭😭 I always wanted a El Camino, if it gets raffled I’m buying as much as I can ong
Where are you going to put the CRV folding table? LOL
Love the build they look absolutely awesome, could you have cut the ridges of bed into tubs where they meet and make an access hole for top bolt of suspension under inner guard ?
You should find some round led's that fit in the speed holes . Hook this beast up with some bed lights . Or do lexan over the back and do kinda underglow lights inside the tubs .
Let’s get it…❤❤ thank you again for another video.. looking good as usual
All you need is a hammer and a sand bag, that's how they did it before, old school...
What dimple die tool is that? Building my rock crawler and need to do some on existing interior panels.
How are you gonna access the spare tire area and the fuel pump if you weld the whole complete bed to the frame
Would be cool to use the CRV spare tire holder as compartment for storage?
Fun Fact: The El Camino can haul just as much air as a Ford F250.
You never want the bars lengthwise with the vehicle, do them width wise
*El Cahondo*
/thread
I think you should add a roll bar and down tubes in the rear it would stiffen the truck up a lot
What about if you need to get into the fuel pump ? Need an access panel for sure
I've been welding/fabricating for a living for 15 years , I'm impressed with what you can do with just basic tools and that hpt welder, I can tell you where taught by an old school true craftsman. You got the VISION BODE!
Can’t wait to see this crv-no complete n drive
The wheel well would make great storage. Make a hatch in the bed?
Lola is the best shophand!
I love the wheel tubs, how hard is it to make an elco a dually I have two?
Shirt at the end is dope. Im gonna check it out.
El Cajones

EL HONDIMO!
Killed it with them tubs👌🫨
Where did you buy the Hand Crank Dimple Die tool from?....Just Wondering!
Eastwood
This is awesome! ❤️😎
Lookin great!
Looking so sick!!
Lookin good👍🏼🤙🏼
Awesome car.
dang son
You can tell that he is a perfectionist. It's not the quality of his work, but the fact he has a major workbench and it has absolutely nothing on it.
Everything has a place and there’s a place for everything. The stuff aloud on my bench is from the specific task at hand. If I switch tasks the bench gets reset as well. This is the best way to keep me organized and efficient.
Will Smith would be so proud of you... Getting Jiggy With It.
🔥🔥🔥build. 👀Vida Guerra on the Natty Ice advertisement...classic!!!
El hunda 😎 or hundow
Love how those wheel tubs turned out; like factory...but better!
💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
never heard of a spot weld bit? this is gonna have alot of rust if its actually ever used like a real car
I'm still blown away in every video how much knowledge you have on doing full body swaps. All the measurements and steps taken come out amazingly well.
That's a lot of progress, Adam. Thanks for sharing and have a good one. Dutch regards, Nico.
How are you going to get to the nuts for the coilovers
Can you make a cap for the bed?
Just thought how are you going to access the fuel pump?
Nevermind just answered my question lol
😎
Lovin' the bed work,Adam! Now it looks like a tubbed drag car!
✌🏽😎
👍😁
I'm glad to see you had the foresight to install access panels for the rear strut tower mounts.
EVERY INTRO'S GOT MY BRAIN IN SPAGHETTI
CRVino is looking great!
Getting there shagga 👍👍👍
Cant wait to see what wheels its gonna get!!
Chevy Ridgeline?
