How to Draw Polygons or Locate Land Using GPS Coordinates

This simple video shows how to draw polygons or locate land in Google Maps using GPS coordinates. Once a polygon or a land is drawn, its area and perimeter are automatically calculated. The map thereafter can be marked, saved, printed or sent to others.

If I can locate the property markers then go up to it a take a picture on your smartphone directly over the marker. Send the picture to your computer, right click on it then select Properties then Details and it should display the GPS coordinate of where the picture was taken.

When creating polygons of large countries, the horizontal line is not coming out straight. It's curved up or down which is very weird. Know a way to keep it straight?

I think that is left for you to make public or leave it private. It is not public by default.
