Only problem is that although he tried his best to go fast, he forgot to keep pace, he was soooo out of time with the rest of the band that it was embarrassing. Want to hear fucking crazy fast drummer that stays in the line for the whole song listen to Uruz from Urgehal

This is amazing. Nowadays, most bands seem to forget how to play black metal properly. It's not about fucking "chaotic louder=better noisy crap". It's all about atmosphere and rawness. And I don't even mind clean vocals, they actually fit. Waiting for some releases!

This song is a monument. It's fast and slow at the same time. It bends time. It's perfect in it's simplicity. The studio version offers more interesting sub-melodies, while this live version brings a more simplistic and straightforward approach. It would be great, if the live version was closer to the original, but still, it's more than we could ever wish! The ultimate contribution of Kvitrafn is most welcome! I'm glad he has'nt abandoned the black metal scene completely.
Only know the early Gorgoroths from the ninetees but this is really good, wished I could understand the lyrics....it reminds me a lil bit of some stuff from burzum

This is the black metal I've been waiting for since 1991. I always liked the art form, just not the vocals. My favorite band back then was Samhain so , as a vocalist myself whose main singing influence has always been Glen Danzig, I wanted THIS. I wanted it to be just like this.

Saw Gorgoroth at Garage in Bergen. Stood two meters from Gaahl the whole fucking show getting gazepierced as fuck and kind of dying mentally of awe as he held his 🤘🏻high for an hour straight. Don’t quite remember if Kvitrafn was the drummer at that show. It was after the Incipit album. I was very, very drunk. Also saw them at Verftet, possibly at a Hole In The Sky fest. Kvitrafn on drums. Later, in 2006 I got a job in a Bergen kindergarten, where I worked with Kilman. He was in Grimfisr then.

i love this band i cone from the old school of death metal and early 80s . but as i get older each year i feel the need to search for music that soothes my soul in these days in my life . i always lived gorgoroth some other black metal bands but this is fucking killer i love gaahls new band . much needed.....

There is an Live Album of Gaahls Wyrd - they recorded that debut Show in Bergen, it was sold only on the tour as LP and CD. Luckily I got mine :-)
