A class act! Doesn’t tell secrets, doesn’t make her daughter’s problems and suicide all about her own loss, and unapologetically states her beliefs. To succeed in show business when she did, a woman probably had to overlook some boorish behavior, lay down the law as to what she wouldn’t tolerate, and be tough as nails. She was smart enough to do it. Dolly Parton basically says the same thing: I never slept with anybody I didn’t want to sleep with, knew how to laugh off the come-ons without being rude or letting them think there was a chance, and if they thought I was dumb I’d let them until I was out the door with the money.
These millennial, Instagram, dollar-menu girls today aren't built like the women of Dolly, Angie, and Joan Collins' generation. These girls today want to open their legs, then holler after it's happened.
She looks like she may not have ever had any work done on her face? Good for her! Or else, if she's had work, it's been very minor, and clearly very well done. But what I like is that she LOOKS her age...and she doesn't look 'strange' or alien-like.
I heard her talk about this in another interview, years ago. She did have some work done - mainly around her eyes - and was disappointed with the results. I think she decided not to do any more. As usual, she has been very candid about it.
lisa evers - So lovely and true!!! It’s not easy to age, BUT i think it takes some humor to do it well. I’d rather look my age than an alien. Just saying.

i was just a kid when she played the cop and had the hots for her very beautiful and a good actress . I'm glad to see she still has her health and mind.
I had the chance to meet her when I was in college and they were filming an episode of Police Woman nearby. She was so sweet, posing for photos, signing autographs and just chatting with us like she had all the time in the world.

Minda Kahn I wasn't aware that she had officially retired from acting. She seems to be in good health; at any rate, I haven't heard otherwise. She'd be great starring in a movie about Georgia O'Keefe.
She's still beautiful. I had forgotten she was married to Burt. I'm glad she clarified her relationship with President Kennedy- I think she was quite secretive about it over the years.
I was not a big fan of Angie in her films and wondered why the big stars adored her. Now I know why. What an utterly amazing woman. Profound - A real dame. Amazing woman.

Triple Threat She had a ground breaking role in the 1970's show "Police Woman". Many credit that show as the kick start that started the permanent growth of Woman joining the Police Force across America and even the world. Might have even influenced "Charlie Angel's" as well which debuted about a year or two later on TV. Some "Police Woman" episodes is on here on RUclips if you care to watch. Keep in mind Triple that some of the episodes might be cheesy for today's entertainment standards but it was a smash hit and very cutting edge for the Mid 1970's.
My respect for Ms. Dickinson increased ten-fold after watching this interview. No B.S., tells it like it is, aging gracefully and still sharp as a tack at 87.

Thank you. I agree. And whenever Police Woman is discussed, Angie’s “ Pepper Anderson” character is considered less than compared to female police officers/detectives/super hero characters that came AFTER her. I am often questioning if these people actually WATCHED that same show that I did (and still do as I have all 4 seasons on DVD). Pepper was quite leading in many ways. She wasn’t just a pretty face.
