Thank you for that feedback. I'm never too sure whether to do a voice over or just play music. I sometimes think that when I've done a video of each page that doing a voiceover will be boring chatting about them again when they're all together in a journal... so it's great to know what you prefer. Carol, this book just amazes me. The one spread that you said was your least favorite as it seemed too grungy for you, turned out to be one of my favorites! Loved the cat peeking out from the burnt grungy ripped papers...and all those old, dusty, vintage books! And then all your mysterious little hidden journal spots. It just spoke to me! You are brilliant my friend. From this point on, I shall be checking in on your YT pages, very often once again! Thank you so much.

Sooo pleased you liked the finished journal. I was a bit worried that it wasn't cohesive but in the end decided it was about enjoying the journey and meeting the daily challenge of hitting the prompts, than creating a journal. I'm too OCD at times 😱🤣TFW Hugs C xx
This is amazing! As a librarian, my favorite page was the bookshelves with the peeking cat. Kind of dark academia. Your entire journal is beautiful, though.

Hello Carol, I haven't tuned into your channel for much too long now! How things seem to have changed up, and I'm loving this particular journal!! Carol, all those tiny tuck spots and creative folds and flaps! I'm dumb struck! Actually, I'm not quite half way thru this entire vide just yet, but I ADORE the picture of you as a sweet little girl and how you tore it and wrote in between the rips. My heart is quickening....now I need to finish this video and then touch base with you once again. Carol, I loved your old tutorials,(lots of sewing and fabric pieces, etc.) and loving these new ones as well...maybe more! You never cease to amaze me!

new sub - just found u this morning. love the swivel cards! so awesome! TFS ok now edited - I was so loving the first part but am now blown away with the rest of the journal prompts! the garden alone is so gorgeous. I love the journal prompts idea...perhaps that a good way for me to start. TY again -luv from Ontario Canada

Some of the prompts were a bit of a challenge, certainly in terms of coming up with ideas, but then that's what I love about these challenges. Plus it's always great to see what other artists come up with or how they've interpreted the prompts, when I've done mine. It's a great way to start, so do give it a try. The only tip I'd offer up is don't get hung up on what you do.... just enjoy the process and have fun. BIG hugs from Lancashire, UK C xx
