I do 3 minutes in the microwave and then 2 minutes in the air fryer and you get a nice crispy finish.

Greggo in fine form today. I always zap frozen stuff in the microwave for a bit before putting it in the air fryer or oven. Cuts the cook time in half at least.

Why?
The pie was frozen in the microwave. First mistake. Next mistake air fryer instructions said 160 not 180.
I am guessing the MW instructions are for a defrosted pie
Nuker might be for a higher wattage microwave

Hey Grego, did you notice afterwards at all the cooking instructions say cook from thawed? Maybe 2 mins in the neuker would have heated the pie sufficiently... 🤔😋👍

I'll try it when its (eventually) on Special. If or when that happens. I'm not mad on Salt,or peas in a meat pie for that matter, but I reckon a pinch of Cayenne Pepper, pop it in the Air Fryer at 180 ° C for 12 minutes, then add a dash of Hot Chili sauce & a dash of Heinz ketchup on top of the pie after cooking. Here is Europe MSG goes by the number 621 or E621 to be more exact. Your box says 635 which seem to be within the realm of MSG since it`s also a flavour enhancer. It`s a jungle out there so be on your guard. I try to stay away from these types of foods but that is very tricky. The boxes should have a total additive number so it would be easier for people to keep track of how much additives are in the ingredients. And as for your little pie, you done goofed when you placed it in the middle of the nuker. Put it to the one side of the tray and it will heat up much faster. Don`t believe me? TRY IT !
Four n Twenty Pies are better. I actually prefer them to our Big Ben Pies here in New Zealand.

I tried this pie a couple of weeks ago - I must have gotten a dud batch, as both pies seemed saturated with the mushy peas, so much so I couldn't even taste the potatoes or the meat; it may as well have been a mushy pea pie! 😅
