Nice info. I went with a different company on a day trip when they had ferries from Miami about 2 years ago. I think this company is more pricy, but it looks bigger and nicer. There were no available carts on the island but a guy gave us a ride to the beach in his truck and when we were walking back, a local stopped and asked if we wanted to ride on his cart. I can't wait to go back.

Timewise only, 2 ½ hours is like going from the heart of Beverly Hills to the small harbor on, still wild, "Catalina Island" in the Pacific Ocean, formerly owned by the Wrigley's chewing gum empire.

Thanks, i am wondering how rocky it was? Like compared to a cruise ship? I do ok on big ships but went on a fishing tri out of Port canaveral and was sick as could be for 8 hours, even with bonine! Would love to try this but afraid of a repeat.

Yeah. Definitely. Also was a pain in the ass. Had to get tested for COVID and apply for a health visa.

Whats the Cost per person each way and can you stay overnight?
We got a package deal with the hotel and ferry. Total was around $800 for the 4 of us. 2 nights.
Thank you for this video, I'm planning a trip to FLD (Miami and Ft. Lauderdale) in December 2021 from Canada. What were the covid testing protocols. I'm reading that you must have proof of negative covid test 3 days before departure with your vaccine passport. I'll have a test before leaving Canada but that test will be no good once I plan my trip to Bimini. Did you have to show negative covid test? and do you know where in Miami or Ft. Lauderdale I can get a rapid test to take this day trip to Bahamas. I'm fully vaccinated.
Hi Kimberly. Yeah we had to show a negative test result and then submit that with the “travel passport” Timelines were slim for sure. Not sure about testing locations. Might want to call the ferry direct.

What marina do you come into in Bimini? I did a ferry to Freeport but stayed 2 nites this time just doing day trip to Bimini. I want to see what's near the marina so we can plan out and tryb to see a much as possible
Not sure what the marina is called. It’s a huge dock I think for the cruise ships too. Located on N Bimini.
On my list to do this.. but do u have to be fully vaccinated to ride the ferry and enter the Bahamas.?. Great video too..

Not sure about right next to the pier. But there are a handful on the island. Favorite is where the shipwreck is.

I had a horrible experience with BALEARIA FERRY. They were approximately 6hrs late picking us back up. I thought we were going to be stranded in Bimini. It was frustrating, but overall Bimini was beautiful.
Yeah they said it was delayed and to sit tight. We decided to go out to the port regardless. Sure enough it was on time and others missed it

Not sure if there was even multiple companies. There are dozens sitting waiting in the lot where the tram stops.

was the Ferry ride very choppy? I get kinda sea sick on smaller vessels and is that tram take you right from the ferry to the rental golf carts?
Hi Melissa. The way there was smooth as it runs in the am. Mornings usually a bit smoother. On the way back it was a bit rough. We took motion sickness medicine and were fine. Yeah that tram brings you to a central area to rent golf carts. Plenty available. Second stop brings you to the Hilton.
