Back in the late 90s, my boyfriend and I flew to Bimini and camped out on the beach for 3 weeks. It is a beautiful little island and the people who live there are awesome! It was a crazy, wonderful experience, the only bad thing was the tiny gnats that would swarm us early in the morning when we stepped out of the tent...we had to run straight to the water when we got up every morning 😂 The conch salad that was served at one of the bars we went to was so delicious! The beach was so beautiful and the water was crystal clear...it was an amazing experience that I'll never forget!
We will be going back to Bimini in February. We will check out Derrick. We rented our golf cart from M&M. They ride all day in case you need assistance, just stop them they will help guide you and got you back going when your cart broke down.
Thanks so much...It was called m and m its in the video where we rent the scooter 2nd tram stop can't miss them. they have people cruising the town on scooters with gas cans looking and refilling. Lol
Not sure what the cost is. May vary based on cruise ship if book from there.. but yes there Is a bathroom to use right there between both sides. Have fun and want to hear all about it. 👍
Thank you for the tour on the golf cart we were trying to decide what we were going to do when we got off the cruise ship in Bimini and now we know exactly what we’re gonna do. we’re gonna go to M&m and get a golf cart for the day and follow your steps. 🚢💕☺️🎉🏖🏝🛺
Yes it's a great way to see the culture and some of the beaches along the coast.. don't missed Joes conch Shack. Can't wait to get back. Have a great time and want to hear about it. 🛳🛳🛳👍👍👍😎😎😎
If you just want a beach and pool the resort is really nice... but your not going to see what bimini is all about and see there culture. You can go to that resort beach for free right next to it which is what we did.. but the other side of the island in the gulf cart was breathtaking. You can do both for sure too its not a big island.
I’m so glad I will have the opportunity to stop there on my next cruise. Cruise is the best as a teaser to see many places that later we can choose to fly to and stay longer if we like. It’s unfortunate that it’s only a quick pit stop at each port. I wish the ship did overnight. But so glad nonetheless for the short stay experience. Yay!!🎉
Can you drink in public? And can you purchase bottled alcohol to bring back with you into the States? Asking for a friend. We going next week from Ft. Lauderdale using the Huge ferry
I was there last week & met Derrick. I asked him for a conch shell & he happily obliged me. I got 2 of them. I tipped him $5. The cruise ship I was on (Carnival) would not let me bring the shell onto the boat & told me to throw it in a trash can. I threw 1 away but kept the other 1 (it was in the bottom of my bag). Upon returning to Port Canaveral, they didn't check bags, so I was able to come home with my 1 shell as a souvenir.@@AlongForTheJourney

YOUR VIDEO MADE MY DAY
Awesome.. thanks for watching our channel. 😁😁👍👍❤️❤️
Fun, helpful tips!
I hope you get to go there soon. If so I want to hear about it. 👍👍🛳🛳
The beach at the pier to the right as you’re facing land is apparently free but chairs and umbrellas $. I wonder what the name of this beach is.
I know where you mean but I'm not sure of the name. If you go let me know how it is. 👍👍
Awesome video!
Thanks so much Kyle👍👍😁😁❤️❤️
Truly loved Bimini!!!!
good job bro
Great video, What company did you use to rent your golf cart and what did they do after it broke down?
Thanks so much...It was called m and m its in the video where we rent the scooter 2nd tram stop can't miss them. they have people cruising the town on scooters with gas cans looking and refilling. Lol
Any idea what the resort fee is? Is there an accessible bathroom on the free side?
Not sure what the cost is. May vary based on cruise ship if book from there.. but yes there Is a bathroom to use right there between both sides. Have fun and want to hear all about it. 👍
How much was the golf cart rental if you don’t mind
Think was 120.
@@AlongForTheJourney thank you !
In what month did y’all visit? (Wondering re: bugs)
Lol... that would have been in April.
I just went in June and I have fun. I stayed in a Airbnb I was able to walk to the beach. I took the fast ferry from Fort Lauderdale to Bimini m.
You never said the prices for the golf cart rentals!!!
Because they change. It cost us $110 at that time.

Golf cart broke, did they bring you another one?
Lol... it just ran out of gas.. they have guys cruising around to fill you up. 🛵🛵🛵🛵🛵🛵
Do you remember how much the golf cart rental was?
Think it was 80 for the 4 seater.
Did you pay with cash ?
yes cash accepted in Bimini.
golf carts are now 130.00
Daggggggg. Inflation in Bimini.. lol.. thanks for sharing👍👍
Did you pay to go to the resort? I'm torn on what we should do when we go in October. Thanks. Great video

We are going in October as well. Would you be going on a cruise?
@@kimberlyncollins7839 I’m going on a cruise there the weekend of Oct 13th. This video was great!
@@mynapturalrocks we leave October 8. I am super excited.
Thanks so much. 👍 and
How long is the cart ride?
All day rental
Did you need a drivers license to rent the cart ?
Yes you do.
Do they take cash? Card?
Golf carts I think only cash.
I didn't see a casino?
There is one at Resort world we drove golf cart too.
Cruise ship going to ruin that place. They weren’t there when we used to cross over in the 90s and early 2000s
Not thinking so... tourism will boost there economy in bimini
You are absolutely right! I hate that it was made a cruise stop. Good for their economy, but it will destroy the quaint atmosphere of the island.
I’m so glad I will have the opportunity to stop there on my next cruise. Cruise is the best as a teaser to see many places that later we can choose to fly to and stay longer if we like. We going next week from Ft. Lauderdale using the Huge ferry
Can't help you there. I didn't really see anyone drinking in public just the bars.
Are you allowed to take any of his empty conch shells??
I don't think so.
I was there last week & met Derrick. I asked him for a conch shell & he happily obliged me. I got 2 of them. I tipped him $5. poor conch
Lol.
he drunk😂😂
No 👎
Radio Beach is trashy and not worth going to.
Strongly disagree on that.
The beach seems awesome to me
I disagree…… the tourists have to help clean the beaches, clean as well.
