Hello, I understand only realtors are members of the NAR, but what's the difference between realtors and real estate agents? What can one do that the other can't? Thanks
I can’t speak for all areas, MLS, or brokerages but for exp you have to be a REALTOR®️. For many MLSs you have to be a REALTOR®️.To be a REALTOR you have to pay more dues. Yay! lol but without access to the MLS you can’t show any homes to buyers or list the homes on the MLS for sellers.
@@AlitheAgent I wish I had the slightest clue what I'm getting into. I've been in the transportation industry for 23 years and desperately need a change. I hear it takes 1-3 to work full-time successfully. Based on talking to agents and watching agents on RUclips.
@@charlesparillojr.8649 It all depends how you spend your time. It's SUCHHH a change going from W-2 where you essentially clock in and clock out, and leave work at work. It's now getting into the world of eating, breathing, sleeping about when your next check will come in, how you can get more clients, how can you market your business differently than others, etc. It's waking up every day unemployed and trying to get appointments set with future clients, and do it day after day after day. it's tough for sure.
