    A couple tips. Buy a harbor freight tire bead breaker, I even use mine on car wheels. That way your not relying on a shop. Use dish soap to put tires back on. Use your heat gun on your seat vinyl before putting in initial staples as it will get your cover tighter, then as needed while stretching for the rest of the seat. 😊

    too bad you don't do firberglass work. Bacl in the late 80's and 90's we used to get anyone with a new machine to bring it in and we would make a mold for the plastics. Over the years we sold many replacement fiberglass(not plastic) fenders. But even with broken plastics, you can still make a mold to make replacement fenders etc . Glass is a bit messy but it works and is better than broken plastic

  • @camaro1380
    @camaro1380 8 месяцев назад +1

    You put that belt on wrong. You need to take 2 of the cover bolts and screw them into the secondary. There are 2 holes around the shaft bolt. It causes the secondary to open up for the belt to slide in there. In the video you forced it in with the impact. You most likely pinched the belt. Also you should have scrubbed the faces on the primary and secondary with a scotch brite and some brake kleen or acetone. They need to be scuffed to grab the belt.

    The best way to restore the plastic. Take a rag or paper towel and your old oil from your last oil change. Paint down your plastic. It will take a couple of days to soak in. I had to do mine 3 times to get it where it wouldn't soak in any more. Then wash it off with light soap. It looks brand new and not damaged like from the heat gun method. I discovered this by spilling some oil on my plastic. I guess if you wanted to go "High Dollar" you could use new oil. 😄
