  • Other videos for this have been blocked so here's something I took my sweet time trimming. Since I did not want to painstakingly check, I used my best judgement based on past copyright claims.
This is a rare documentary and it ain't run of the mill. It contains some parts of his interviews that I don't see anywhere else on YT, interviews with various people he's worked with (not just musicians), his talking mixed with footage, etc. Oh, and one main interview with hisself in '93. It's interview heaven! A must-watch for Bowie fans who're into that funny bit between 1987-1993. This is the first time I've heard him get censored for saying fuck, strangely jarring.
Despite how much I played it up just now, I think this version is missing something. Something that caught my eye in a thumbnail because it was Tin Machine. A missing part of the Swedish TV one I'm sure. So, if someone posts this in its good quality and entirety (without copyright), I will be very happy.
    thanks Steve

White Noise by Don DeLillo is listed among Bowie’s all time favorite books.

To think Mick Ronson died April 29,1993 just a short time after this footage....I am so happy that Bowie did what was right to fix the relationship

His views expressed in black tie white noise do resonate even today. His argument was that black people are totally ignored, though he was never ignored. 🤔

I know Bowie loved soul music but I never hear him talk about Reggae which was huge in England.

ironic that he disses his drug years, yet more people die from cigs than coke or heroin.
