After Today (1975) David Bowie + lyrics
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.2 года назад
Text below from Pushing Ahead of the Dame: www.google.com/amp/s/bowiesongs.wordpress.com/2010/10/14/after-today/amp/ "'After Today' is typical of the freewheeling Sigma sessions, as it was tried out both as a slow, moody ballad and as an uptempo piece, with a take of the latter version eventually released on Bowie’s career retrospective Sound Vision (the decision seemed to be Rykodisc’s, who pr...

Purchased and digitally recorded for me by David Bowie's Stalker: ruclips.net/channel/UC3eU5NbgwCPS9w5wxm1ce-A He has confirmed to me that it sounded exactly like this, if not worse, while being played on vinyl. Do your best making out what they say. It's a rare recording nonetheless. There are French translations in between.

Text from Wikipedia: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/I'm_Deranged "'I'm Deranged' is a song written by David Bowie and Brian Eno in 1995 for the album Outside. Musically and lyrically, it shares many themes with "Look Back in Anger" from Lodger (1979), including the appearance of an angel figure before an artist. The two songs were frequently played together during the 1995 Outside Tour." David Bowie -...

A bit strangely put together, but it has a bit of rare footage of them from during what looks like rehearsals (bits with the sailor hat). That and the LAX show, which is not as rare. Video cut directly from Vimeo: vimeo.com/155483723

I thought it was 'reach it".
Glad this underseen gem is out in the ether,
Love this movie, however rene 5:11 is already on the painting in the previous scene
😊Bowie was a mystical mesmerizing character in his time he had a little bit of magic in everything he was a part of!🎉🎉🎉🎉
👁El ojo
I miss him so much
Reeves Gabrels is a monster guitar player!
His music on the soundtrack is underrated. "As the World Falls Down" is one of the best pop ballads of the 80s pretty easily. "Underground" is a pretty great song that has some notes of 50s and early 60s rock.
Eno, Bono and Ono He can't stop for two minutes with the creativity? Han Solo was out of this world?
Still ahead of its time. 1989/2024 I have been this poor, too poor. What a genius. How did I never hear these Tin Machine songs? Unreleased?
So i WASN'T just hallucinating that he had a nosebleed when I saw this video for the first time!
The way the reporter said that Prince would scare the crap out of the Midwest when Prince was born and raised in Minneapolis, will never not be funny.
1:08 😂funny
this and the dark crystal are true masterpieces. the creativity and characters and storytelling. brilliant. purely brilliant.
Having just turned 31.
And the wonderful David Sanborn RIP 🥲
Red Sails is right up there with Scary Monsters as Bowie's most beserked out song. Two great works of art.
Awesome. Thanks man
This one song of Bowie’s is infinitely better than every song Taylor Swift has written put together.
Thank you so much for this, have seen it years ago but now it meant so much more…
Love the ending vocals by David. RIP buddy.
He looks like he's never been happier. That's all you see is teeth as they walking down the aisle
Thanks for posting this movie in such a good quality 👏
Temazo!!
He had a kind of lightness to him that I like.
"Never mind the pistols" cracks me every time. One of few finest Tin Machine and David's songs.
hello to anyone who was there! please reply reliving the moment, I would like to hear about any interactions you may have had!
5:24 Nobody gets out of this place without singing the Blues.
AHA! 3:12 we can see how tRump stole this look for his disastrous comb-over, yikes! :-)
thank you providing a commercial free version of one of my favorite movies.
I feel like David and Scott were travelling into the same territory from slightly different angles. Bowie was bringing pop into the avant- garde and walker was bringing the avant garde into pop.
❤ he can't be human he's alien unbelievable artist
Unbelievable, masterpiece
New wave tits and monkeys.
Beautiful voice
Sublime. ❤
And then three years later, Scott did _Top Gun._
This is so reminiscent of late 1960s Scott Walker, even if Bowie puts his own distinct stamp on.
Lewis Largent is insufferable
amazing band
Bowie is the absolute best!! 🎉🥳
DAVID BOWIE IS TRUE A ROCK ICON... PERIOD 🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎵🎶🎵🎵🎶🎶 HE HAS THE COOLEST HAIRCUT 🤗
He was and will be a legend forever!
i know this guy
Bowie I miss you 🖤🖤🖤💋💋💖
This whole film feel like half done. And the crew and actors where too busy doing lsd and blow.
I cant think of a more 1970's pop cultural move than this. It captures everything on how just whacky the 1970's were.
I have his vinyl. 🎉
He seem to be nervous. 😅🤦🏻♂️
