  • Today I'm talking about Olivia Newton-John and her journey with cancer who sadly died recently from metastatic breast cancer.
British-born Australian singer, actress, and activist, four-time Grammy Award winner whose music career included five number-one hits.
Olivia Newton-John came from an interesting background, watch the video to hear more about her heritage.
Breast cancer struck Oliva three times and became an advocate for breast cancer research and the use of cannabis oil. She also was an activist for environmental and animal rights causes.
Eventually, Olivia's cancer spread to her bones and it was this final stage that she didn't recover from.
In this video I share the publically available story about Olivia Newton-John's battle with breast cancer, and how she even calls her journey with breast cancer a gift.

Thank you Dr Tasha for this! I am a 2 time breast cancer survivor. Both times my diagnosis was Stage 1 and it was caught early during a yearly mammogram. Both times the cancer was not found in the lymph nodes and I am forever grateful for my UCLA radiation team to have found it so early. I do believe because both times my cancer was found at an early stage I am very fortunate.
