  • Sarah Harding lost her life to Breast cancer earlier this year, a shocking and sad end to a much loved and widely adored young woman.
Unfortunately Sarah is not alone approximately 1000 younger woman die each year from breast cancer. In today's video Dr Tasha takes a review of Sarah Hardings breast cancer story, based on the public information available.
What breast cancer did she have and what treatment was she given and what were her symptoms, as known from public information.
My sincere and deep sympathies go out to Sarah Harding's family and friends at such a difficult and heartbreaking time. Sadly many woman experience metastatic cancer and every year thousands loose their battle with it.
Having a breast cancer diagnosis can be a scary time with so many things happening around you about you. On this channel Dr Tasha gives clear and helpful advice and guidance from your diagnosis, treatment and beyond.
Dr Tasha provides you with trusted and easy to understand information, compassionate support and rapid diagnosis, all from a trusted Breast Health Specialist.
WORRIED ABOUT A BREAST LUMP OR SYMPTOM?
FRUSTRATED AND CONFUSED BY CONFLICTING INFORMATION?
TRYING TO NAVIGATE LIFE AFTER BREAST CANCER DIAGNOSIS AND DON’T KNOW WHERE TO TURN?
Breast health has become an important topic for both women and men. But with a huge amount of conflicting and confusing information out there, it can be hard to find the advice, support and care that you need.
My Breast My Health was created to make understanding breast health easy. Whether you’re looking to learn how to keep your breasts healthy, concerned about new symptoms or learning to live post-diagnosis, you’re in the right place.
    Hi, I'm Dr TASHA
I’m a Doctor, Breast Cancer Surgeon and Medical Educator. After 20 years helping people to understand and overcome breast health problems, I’ve seen first hand the fear, frustration and stress that my patients go through.
As a breast specialist with over a decade’s worth of experience, I understand finding the right information, processing a diagnosis, understanding treatment and getting accurate, practical advice as you ride the rollercoaster of emotions can be really tough.
    But I’m here to help.
Many people think that as a Breast Specialist Surgeon, I just do surgery. But that’s far from the truth. In fact, the majority of my patients don’t need any treatment at all - just advice and support.
The internet can be a wonderful source of information but when it comes to breast health there’s a lot of inaccurate information out there. Listening to the wrong advice could cause you unnecessary worry or even put your health at risk.
So I wanted to create an accessible hub where you could find useful, accurate and reliable information from a trusted source - a Breast Health Doctor - all in one place.
That’s exactly what you’ll find on My Breast My Health, welcome to my RUclips Channel.

My mum died at 36, she had it discovered at 28 and was given a year because it was over stage four..later aunt by aunt was diagnosed, just to realize we have a gene..
Now I'm waiting my breast surgery appointment because I have a lump and skin change.. I can see the lump and I think it has grown within discovering it , because now I do not need to push my arm back that much ...

Could anyone please tell me what type of breast cancer she had and if you know, which chemotherapy she was administered. New imminotherapy drugs have been introduced the the past couple of years for specific types of breast cancer.

I read her book, it was partly because of covid, she had moved into place, which had infestation, she had bite on her leg, that became septic, so she thought the lump was most likely another bite, and also because of the lock down, she did not seek medical help,

@@drtashag She did have a pretty significant drinking life, could that be a factor in causing her cancer so young ?

First time i ever lost a loved one, weeks before my 21st:( Felt like losing a family member. She’ll never get to see me model once covid is over and there will be no reunion tour. I wish her cancer was caught sooner. Lost her at such a strange time as it was during my school closure.

Sorry for the familes that have got relatives that are going though treatment for breast cancer or cervical cancer right now? A friend of mine sadly lost her mum to cancer around 8 years ago now. Her mum was a lovely and brave lady to the end. She was cared for by Marie Currie nurses in a hospice near to her local town not far from the families home . Her family can drive cars and visited her in the evenings after work and on a weekend too. Not easy for anyone to bare at anytime . Upsetting for them too. My thoughts are with them right now at this sad time. Also my sympathy goes out to the family members too. Yours Sincerely. Valerie Weight ( Miss). In Oban Argyll. Scotland. UK.

Hi Valerie, thank you for sharing this story. Yes it is can be a very difficult time for many people who have been affected by cancer. Sorry to hear about your friend’s mum. It sounds like she had much care, love and support from Marie Currie nurses and her family. Thanks once again for your thoughtful post here.

So if she caught it early and then went to the hospital to treat it then it would not be too late and would not cause death right?
