No disrespect but I think the best thing I saw on / in that car was a fire extinguisher. As bad as that thing is it would be so sad to have a small fire burn it to the ground. I've seen way too many high-dollar cars burned to the ground cuz it was missing a $100 fire extinguisher. Great job!
What a squared away car man. Im not a vette guy but the c6 zr1 sorted out like this has a place in my heart. I definitely would have done the torque tube delete myself but, i understand why he didn't. You lose a lot of passenger leg room. Among many other things. Well worth it to not have to worry about snapping the shaft on the splines then spending 15 hours just getting shit torn down.
That Vette sounds crazy! It definitely doesn't sound like your average supercharged LS motor. It has a much higher tone that almost sounds like a European style V8.

Its coming out in the worst time for cars so it will be way overpriced and I see people paying 100k+ to get these new.. which kinda defeats the point of a nice sports car for everyone. Im not ritch, but I own a car that punches above its weight class. Thats the point of a z. Cheap, easy fun. Not extravagant and out of our price range... Sorry for the rant. Tl;dr: feel like its too expensive to be a cheap and fun car like the previous Zs.
Shout out to GPI. Only place I would go for LS/LT anything. They've gone 8.50s with a NA SBE 5th gen Camaro. With a th400. For anyone looking for a cam, that's the place to go.

Crazy how much faster no shifting is... I know of a couple ZR1 with this same set up minus the auto.. it's pretty basic Kong ported blower, ect.. cam and a badass ZR1

Yup theyre not no ford. Some hemis can too. That's why at the highest levels no one uses ford motors. Ford chasis sometimes but put hemis or chevy type motors in.

MAYBE what a coyote makes with turbos, not a supercharger. Also this will be a whole lot more reliable when pushing that much. The limit on a SBE coyote seems to be around the 850whp range. Still impressive, but not an LS. Fastest SBE coyote? The fastest I can find is 8.95. Fastest SBE LS? 7.16 I didn't look very hard for either so you can feel free to correct me. Coyotes are capable, but for the money, an LS is more capable all day in a more factory set up. The fastest SBE LS was a truck engine, and the record was made by a truck.
@all_ontario_hunter stock usually refers to nothing done to the engine itself to gain power. Since oil pump gears add absolutely no hp then yes the engine is stock whereas you're absolutely not going to make shit for power on an ls unless you do heads/cam combo. The coyote is a much better engine stock for stock with power adders
