Women in aviation, always a joy to see just how positive this message is to all young females around the world. With patience, determination and drive (or rather fly in this instance) you can accomplish anything.
Even though she a Captain now, let’s just focus on her accomplishments to being a Pilot and all her hard work to get there. Yes, she’s beautiful, but she’s putting in the work and that deserves our most attention.
I have a fear of flying but I love watching these videos. Emilie has the clearest voice of any pilot video I've watched. Hope I get to fly soon with a pilot like this.
Awesome! Thank you for sharing it with us. Quirky fact: I found myself concentrating on your eyes during takeoff and landing. I find it interesting to watch how your area of concentration changes at different points of each process.
I have a terrible fear of flying ( irrational, I know). But I love these aviation videos. I guess the more I see what's going in the cockpit, the less afraid someday I'll of flying.
On my word, the woman is a pilot....lol. It would seem all the attention is on her appearance and not any specific skills or any of her flight experience. Come on folks let’s support her in a positive way. How long did that flight take to get off the ground, curious? Great job Emile...stay safe crew🙏🏻❤️
God, it's got to be one of the greatest feelings in the world when you push the throttles up and feel that power surge. I mean, I drive a Focus RS and I giggle every time I punch it, I can't imagine what a jet feels like.
I subscribed so I can show your videos to my daughter and inspire her to consider this career path when she grows up! Keep doing what you do! All the best
The secret to enjoy a good flight (as a passenger) is to have a few drinks before... let the muscles relax a bit, put on some good tunes and look out the window... :) Let the world pass by underneath you...
See my first (and only) flight so far, I was looking out the window nearly the entire time. I think I was in an A319-100. I was nervous at first since it was my first ever time flying in any type of aircraft. We flew for about 4 hours from SFB to SHV. It was pretty exciting, but the entire time I was thinking about every possible thing that could go wrong lol
Thanks for letting us tag along on a flight. I enjoyed it very much. I have repaired and/or helped build aircraft for the last 35+ years, and have flown in planes a few times. But it was the first time I had a birds eye view on the flight deck.
This is so cool! I can't even count how many times I've made that flight. Reminds me of when I was just a wee lad and the flight attendant invited me up to look in the cockpit to say "hi" to the pilots (obviously more than a few years ago). Thanks :)
I loved it... thanks for sharing n posting this amazing footage of reality in the cockpit.... You are a beautiful young woman pilot doing an amazing job.... From Alberta to Kelowna BC is a beautiful flight ✈️
That was fun to watch, the callouts/procedures are a bit different to ours. The approach briefing is almost identical to the format we use though. Also nicely buttered landing 👍
Well Emilie, I always say if you’ve mastered the skill then you’ve earned the thrill! You made it look easy just like out for a Sunday stroll. If you ever pass over Arizona I’ll look up and give you a wave. Until next time then Emilie; Safe Flying...DesMav out.
As as web developer, I hate that I didn't look into being a pilot before. For the last year or so I've been trying to learn more and more about flying in my spare time. I don't know if I'll take a step at least get my PPL, but watching these videos and reading about flying excites me and I thank people like you that show us what it's like. Thank you Emilie!
At the age of 28 i decided to change my whole career. It's never late to do the thing you love the most. Start on the Academy, then fly some small planes and so on!
Thanks for the ride...You love flying and what a treat to be taken along with the amazing view from the cockpit..This actually relaxed me and helped me to sleep
Interesting to see the differences from 737, there the pilot flying has one hand on the throttle until V1, but you guys have the pilot monitoring being ready on the throttle. So video idea; why you do it like that ;) and the nature over there is almost as nice as here in Norway :)
For our SOPs it's actually the CA, not the PM that has their hand close to the throttles. So when the CA is the PF, they also have their hand there. It's different for every company!
That’s so cool to see things how they go up front on a commercial flight. There is a lot more going on in the cockpit than most people know. I fly on Alaska/Horizon a lot it’s sure way different than being behind the yoke of a Cessna 172. Thanks Emilie

I dreamed of becoming a pilot when I was a little boy. Now I find it impossible to achieve due to financial problems. I see becoming a pilot is an expensive thing, now I am taking a different path ahead and become a Software Engineer, its painful but I'll get through. I am now taking my first day as a freshman in August 24. Every time I see a pilot videos or any airplane videos, it just breaks my heart. Its just depression seeing my long time diehard dream wont come true. Edit: You have earned a new subscriber :)
Thank you for sharing from your perspective Emilie! I really enjoy your videos and hopefully soon I'll start on my PPL. As a fellow Canadian it's interesting seeing you fly in and out of airports I've been to and your perspective of it. 😊 I hope after COVID your get.back in the air soon!
Seems as if about 1/3 of you all couldn’t care less about her flying skills. As if? Congratulations on your success in aviation, Emilie, and here’s to clear skies and tailwinds always.
Hey guys...Yes, she's pretty, but pay more attention to her flying and her obvious smarts. She made Captain...fast...for a reason. She is every Captain's dream as an FO and will be every FO's dream as Captain.
Very cool! Very professional- nice landing! ...you will attract many trolls and idiots unfortunately.... please don’t feed them 🙂...their pathetic selves will move along when ignored. 👍
Omg that was so empowering to watch it just goes to show what can be achieved if you just put your mind to things but it is the sights and ambiance that has me drawn to these videos.
Amazing video! I lived for 6 months in Kelowna in 2018 and I flew many times YLW-YVR-YLW. I'm from Brazil and I'm a private pilot here. You added all the Communications and Charts in your video and this is awesome! Great content! Thank you!
I like the Dash 8. I was once allowed to fly a helicopter in Penticton in the mountains for almost 4 weeks. It was brilliant! I envy you for the fact that you can fly permanently in this beautiful scenery!
Miss having the Encore crews at KBNA! The Canadian crews were always the coolest with us ramp rats, haha. Hopefully we can get COVID under control so we can open up our doors again to y'all! Stay safe.
In addition to being an aviation enthusiast, and enjoying your videos (as well as learning something new), I love the background tracks you use on your videos! As soon as I hear something new, Shazam it and add it to my 'Liked Videos' on RUclips. Your taste in tunes is awesome! Please, more vids!
OMG just beautiful that pilot. I would wash her clothes, breakfast(in bed😊😁), clean the house everyday, laundry, iron her clothes. Dammmm those eyes are stunning. 😊❤️
Its pretty disgusting the amount of comments that are solely about her looks. Do you all think she's going to respond and fall in love with you? Let's celebrate how she's a badass female pilot and we need a lot more of them! Also, this is a tough flight. My ex was a pilot and crashed on this flight.
Thanks so much Emilie for this video, I miss working there. I hope to get back again soon after this pandemic. I miss guiding and working alongside the aircrafts. Hope to see more videos. 👍
Flying in my area made my day my home town is blue river bc I have lived in Kamloops but am in Vancouver for over last 8 years . And I love watching her videos makes my day
Beautifully said! love your simplicity and enthusiasm thank you for sharing! I work at Boeing Seattle and this month I too will take the leap to to fulfill a life long dream of learning to fly, I will start my private training at Galvin flying I cant wait, your experience only added more fuel to my desire, best of luck Emilie on your flying career.
Nice, That was Greasy!! Q400 Captain myself out of downtown Toronto and oh boy do I miss it like crazy!! Suddenly all those hard pairings we used to complain about don’t seem so brutal right now and I’d jump back in with whatever it is in a heartbeat. I absolutely Absolutely Love this video and it’s these kind that keep all of our hearts and minds in the game until things get back. Fantastic Job!
This comment made my heart swell. You absolutely nailed it about those pairings....I'm there with you. These times are so tough. Hope you're hanging in there 💕
The Q400: the aircraft that tail-strikes at a little over 6 degrees pitch up, and requires power during flare :P Probably the most unforgiving aircraft during landing I`ve ever flown

Hi Emilie, hope you are doing well. Please keep posted more flight videos 😉
Pilotemilie congrats from Houston Emilie a huge for you, princess 👸 what a beautiful eyes!!!! OMG .
I very nice video. I also wanna become a pilot but I don't have so much money for it can you please say how should I pay or how can I get loan.

😄Super pilot 👍✈️😘💋✈️
I have such mad respect for people who can juggle all this. It's comforting to see such professionalism.

Really cool to see the cockpit's perspective of a passenger jet. Thanks for sharing.
It's a beautiful De Havilland Dash 8 turboprop and I love this aircraft :)
That was the smoothest landing I've ever seen in a vlog! Nice flying.
Beautiful landing... greased it in.. hope things get back to normal for you soon. All the best from the UK 👍
Awesome! Thank you for sharing it with us. Quirky fact: I found myself concentrating on your eyes during takeoff and landing. I find it interesting to watch how your area of concentration changes at different points of each process.
I have flown this stretch so often, good to see the cockpit it still as calm, cool and collective as usual - nice approach and landing.
I have a terrible fear of flying ( irrational, I know). But I love these aviation videos. I guess the more I see what's going in the cockpit, the less afraid someday I'll of flying.
