Casting is more about balanced gear, the rod and reel do most of the work that aside the rig was a death rig any carp snapping that rig off would be tethered and will die! The clip was fixed, the tail rubber on so tight it would never come off and the weight was permanently wedged onto the clip! Not only that they left it in a tree(easily accessible even an old codger like me could get it out) for any wildlife to get caught up in it and die or at best maimed. After all Kayden there are plenty of tutorial videos out there showing the correct use of rigs.
@@Fishing4Pleasure ye I mean I 100% agree with you I use helicopter style set up or inline drop offs but I thank you for the explanation and maybe you should post a short vid on the carp basics might do well
Nice to hear the 🐦 singing. Warmer times to come
Always lovely birdlife there Darren
I’ve fished this swim a few times and always done well, the right hand rods the winner. Thank for the video I’m off fishing tomorrow now 😂
Tight lines for today 👍👍🎣🎣
Yes the rig u found was messed up but not every one like u can cast far wi a litter lead plus maybe they used it because that was the only one
