MATE!! I am so sorry, but I have to go against the grain on this one!! 😵💫I am not sure if all the other comments were from your mates? But I thought this video was terrible, from start to finish, and here are my reasons why. You looked shattered and totally disinterested from the first moment in your car to the last part in your garden!! (or where ever you were!!) You did not listen to advice from your fellow anglers (your words) if you had listened, you would have known to pick Picnic point or the point as your choice of swim. Perhaps you were just being lazy and choose that swim because it had a toilet near it and you could park your car there!! 🙁You may also have chosen to use a slip D rig with a wafter, rather than your ("I know best") Ronnie and Stiff Hinge rig with a pop up!! All the best anglers, who I know or follow, are not that arrogant where they do not listen to advice, especially when they have fished the lake for many years that you are just about to fish for the first time!! Also I believe it is a good idea to make up a few solid bags the night before to save you time making them up on the bank! And my last tip would be this. Secure your pod stand correctly!! (you were lucky you didn't loose everything!) 😱

Firstly I chose the “toilet swim” not because it was convenient but because it was a sun trap and on arrival and doing about three laps of the lake and spotting a few fish (which I think I mention) I decided that would be best to target as I had never been before. Your right I don’t tend to listen to advice because a lot of it can be wrong I like to figure things out for myself if you do the same as others you’ll get the same result, I’m not looking for the same results I’m looking to improve. All the very best anglers take note and listen to every detail of a lake. I’m not a great angler I’m a very mediocre angler and it is and always will be just a hobby (some people can and have let it destroy their lives). If it looked like I was tired and disinterested it’s probably because I was, I am by no means a professional anglers that gets to do this for a living. I am and upholsterer. I’m up at 5am every morning and up early at the weekends to fish. I’d also just driven over 2 hours to get this. I come across mono-tonal in my videos because as stated above I am not a professional. I just like making videos, if people like them, then that’s great if they don’t then that’s ok to. I hope this clears this up for you. Have the very best of days 👍
