Every one has their go to carp bait. Well mine is strange but very effective. I am in South Australia catching common carp. Plain white bread, bread flower and raspberry or strawberry jelly ( also called jello )crystals. Mix the bread and a lot of jelly crystal, make it moist ( not wet )so that you can knead it like any other bread dough. Add flower to make it bind and stiffen so you can take a piece and it does not stick to you hand. That's it, just roll into a small ball and mold it around the hook. If stiff enough will cast far and stay on hook. Carp love sweet stuff. Try it and see. Even stranger is " Red raspberry licorice " the stronger the sweetness and flavour the better. cut into small pieces and feed onto hook. Sounds dumb but it works.
In my area in Indonesia the pond water is green and the carp here are very difficult to eat even though many people use different baits. But no one gets them. Do you have any tips for making the right bait for fishing for carp in ponds?
try chumming the water with baits that you use for them they even will go for fruits to also try marinating some of those Bay in some strawberry extract or vanilla extract bring it out with stronger flavor
